The graphs reveal data about purchases and share price for Coca-Cola over the world.
The pie chart indicates the number of bottles Coca-Cola’s unit case volume by region in 2000. As can be seen, North America consumes the most volume of Coca-Cola with 30.4%, which is followed by Latin America and Europe with 25.7% and 20.5% respectively. Although, Asia has the most population over the world, the amount of Coca-Cola consumption in Asia accounts for only 16.4%. Lastly, Africa and Middle East occupies the least proportion of Coca-Cola unit case volume with only 7% remained.
The line graph, meanwhile, represents the amount of money of Coca-Cola price from 1996 to 2001. It is clear from the graph, Coca-cola share price climbs dramatically from about 38$ in 1996 to approximately 70$ in the beginning of 1997, dropping to 60$ in the end of 1997 and reaching a peak at 80$ in 1998. After that, it plunges from the highest point to just about 48$ in the middle of 2000. Interestingly, Coca-cola share price goes up markedly in three months later, but starting to decline gradually in these following months.
It could be also noticed that Coca-Cola‘s unit case volume distributes inhomogeneously by region over the world, while, with the change of the world’s economies its share price also fluctuates continuously.
