Over 20years, the quantity of UK citizens, who attend Art events, change significantly due to many different reasons. The following 4 cases proof the above point. In the beginning, we can see the numbers of citizen who desire to see specific performer/ artist doesn’t change much. The percentage decreases slightly from 58 to 56% over 20 years. We can see that the amount of fans have always been constant. Secondly, the number of people who accompany their children varies notably (from 9 to 24 percent). It shows that Art has been widely introduced to young people nowadays. Thirdly, static shows that celebration is no longer a main purpose for visiting art events (from 27% to 9% in 20 years). Therefore, Art has become a necessary demand so that they can enjoy it everytime. Moreover, the amount of work/ business intent has risen twice. Hence Art event is not only for entertainment but also can be used as opportunity for business. In conclusion, there are many reasons make people participate in Art events in the UK.

The rate of participants for this purpose in 20 years ago, 10 years ago and today is 58%, 55% and 56%. Besides, there is a decrease in the proportion of people who attend the arts for the special occasion. From 27% in 20 years ago, it reduces slightly to 20% in 10 years ago then drops sharply to only 9% at the moment. Contrast with this trend is the rise of “Accompanying children” and “Work/business”. The ratio of adults going to the arts shows with children increases from 9% in 20 years ago to 15% in 10 years ago and 24% at present. In ad***ion, we also see a climb of people who go to arts evens for job. This percentage goes up gradually from 6% to 10% and almost unchanged until now with 11%.

Second reason is accompanying children tends to increase.To day is 24% more than 15% 20 years ago.
next reason is special cocasion tends to decrease.Decreased 10% in 10 year and 18% in 20 year.
final reason is work/busines.this reason rise 4% in 10 year ago but only rise 1% today.
