The diagram describes the process in a near future, at which we can make the electricity in our house by ourselve.
At the beginning of this process, you have to fill about three quarters of a tank made ​​of steel with compost (leaves, food scraps, etc,...) and water. This tank will be brewed fermented with compost to create methane gas. The gas will be taken out to a methane gas storage as soon as possible. From this storage, the gas will be brought to the compressor where it be compressed and led to a combustion engine by compressed gas pipe. Next, the gas will be burned in a combustion engine to generate mechanical energy. This mechanical energy will be diverted to a generator to produce electricity. At the end of the process, electrical energy will be stored in the battery (or any electrical energy storage devices you have) for use at your home.

Next, methane gas outs follow a tube attached to a combustion engine. Immediately, gas forms mechanical energy to a generator. Finally, generator makes electrical energy, it is reserved in a battery and normal used in your home.

In conclusion, you can easily produce electrical energy by yourself.
