Topic 37: What are the factors that cause stress and how to cope with stress?
Someone said that “life is a big headache on a long noisy road.” This statement truly explains life nowadays. Stress is one of our biggest enemies. It affects our health, our personality, and our relationships with others. The objective of this essay is to outline both the sources of stress and the effective ways of dealing with it.

There are two main reasons that cause stress, including internal elements and external factors. Firstly, most of the factors that cause stress are external, that is they come from the outside world. This can include things such as job pressures, family life, relationships, physical illnesses and major events that happen to you or your loved ones. As a report namely “stress management” at website dantri.com stated that the majority of people find the work they do and the relationships they have with their work colleagues to be the most stressful factor in everyday life.

There is a further more subtle point we must consider Another group of stressors is intertwined with personality. It is said that life acts and you react. Our attitude is our reaction to what life hands out to us. A significant amount of stress symptoms can be avoided or aroused by the way we relate to stressors. Stress is created by what we think rather than by what has actually happened. For instance, handling adopted children, adolescents, academic failures, retirements, tax au***s or sudden loss of money needs a relaxed attitude and preparedness to face the quirks of life positively. Otherwise one tends to feel stressed and reacts in anger and frustration. With a better control of attention one can feel that the world is a more congenial place to live in.

People have different ways of escaping the stress and difficulties of modern life. From my own perspective, the best way of dealing with stress is to train yourself to minimize negative thinking. Just a bit of positive thinking can turn you back onto the path of happiness and healthiness. What is also worth noticing is that taking some relax activities, such as massage, exercise…are useful way to get rid of stress.

From what has been discussed above, we may finally draw the conclusion that environment factors and people’s personalities are two main causes of stress. Adopting a healthy lifestyle and proper attitudes toward life can promote people's physical and psychological well-being and help them relieve stress.

In recent years, leisure industry is becoming increasingly popular at an annual rate. There has been a perception that the development of modern technology has made people less creative. However, i think that people will be more creative with the advantages of technology. So that I want to express some most important opinion of mine.
First of all, it is easily too seen that the maturities and popuarities of mobiles and computers have given us more chance to enhance our intellience. They make people convenientlly to connect with others, play game, shop online while having free time. Moreover, with the progression of sofware industrly, entertainment seekers have ability to create their own applications, games, website, or blog… for every single purpose. They can even earn money by selling their products. It improves people creativeness as well.
There is another factor that some people might argue that watching televion, a common leisure activity, has seriousl effect the viewrs’ development in creativity. It is believed that televison viewrs are passive when absorbing information presented by televison programes and respond with no active thinling. Nevertereless, there are some televison programes being more and more educational, instructive and reactive. For instance, science channels, such as Discovery, Travelling and living,…, are the clear evidences giving watchers more knowledge. While some modern cartoon or educational programes ipmrove children creativity and intelligence.
From what has been discussed above, we may finally draw the conclusion that modern technologies, as shown in above discussion, have made people more creative, and also given them more enjoyment in leisure activities.I believe that not only the advance of technology improve their ability of creativity, but also give them more enjoyment in leisure activities.

Topic 3: There is a disagreement on the impact of increased business and culture contact between countries on a country’s identity. What is your opinion?

Along with the rapid development of the world, nowadays, more and more countries increase business and culture cooperation with others. Nevertheless, its impact on country's identity remains a source of constant debate. From my own perspective, we should analyze this issue from different sides.

In fact, not only the connections between countries develop the economic prosperity and opportunity, but it also can make indigenous cultures well known to the world. Obviously, with culture exchanges, tourism brings back for each country an enormous profit and international reputation. Almost tourists traveling abroad for relaxing or discovering different culture can find out many new and interesting things, so that they will share emotion and experience in that local culture with their relatives. Thus a lot of culture’s identities become widespread day-by-day. Meanwhile, there is one more universal truth that business contacts between countries enable them to exchange technology, human resources and production methods together. Moreover, countries can export and import of goods to serve domestic and international’s supply and demand.

Besides, it might also be noted that global culture has caused many problem which hardly can be solved. For instance, multiple indigenous cultures of the oriental are being replaced by western cultures by accident and some local languages and valuable tra***ions are on the verge of disappearance. As a result, some country will slowly lose their culture’s identity and become uniform with no feature.

From what has been discussed above, we may finally draw the conclusion that developed business and culture contact can have both good and bad influences on country’s identity involved. It depends on how each country use abilities and potential to promote its strength and integrate with the world without destroying its identity.

Topic 8: Millions of dollars are spent on space research every year. Some people argue that the money should be spent on improving living standards on Earth. Do you agree or disagree?

Along with the rapid development of the science and technology, the government has invested more and more money on space projects. Some people take the view that the money should be expended to improve the living standard on Earth. From my own perspective, with the existing advantages, one should believe that the space researches will give us more benefit than its cost.
The first reason *****pport it is that the applications of space studies contribute noticeably to our live. For instance, being one of the first ventures into space, satellites are another critical part of our nowadays society. By forecasting more and more accurately the weather, we can prepare for hurricanes and dangerous calamities, such as storm, saving thousand of life each year. Moreover, many modern technologies using generally, including mobile phone and Internet, are the result of space exploration.

The second thing that must be taken into consideration is that scientific knowledge has value beyond the measurements of cost. I believe that all of the knowledge coming each day about space, other planets, stars and solar systems are invaluable in the future. What if we lose our planet because of pollution or a collision with another, where will we live? Only by searching for a new shelter can we believe in a better tomorrow for our children.

Another remarkable reason it is because of man's uncontainable curiosity, people all want to explore our environment. There is a lot of science including space research created to explain natural phenomena. There are countless planets throughout the universe, the question being asked at the moment are: “How did the universe begin?” and “Is there life outside of Earth?” Space exploration entails research and development on multifarious fronts, all of which require a mount of monetary investment. However, to answer these questions, people will pay more and more money for the space programmers.

As suggested above, because of contributing of its results, value of knowledge and man's curiosity, space research will not only be useful on our live but also bring us many invaluable knowledge for our future.

Topic 10: Some people argue that the government should spend money on public services and facilities, but not on the arts. Do you agree or disagree?

How to allocate fairly government’s budget for a variety of social demands from health care, infrastructure to other mental ones such as arts remains controversial. Some people insist on that that money should be earmarked more for public services and less for arts while others believe each area should receive an inequitable amount of spending for its unique value contributed to social development. I partly agree with the latter view for the following reasons.

Admittedly, public services are of immediate benefit for the entire society. The issues of health care, education, and infrastructure are always top concerns of any government that wants to recruit high-skilled labor, strong workforce and modern facilities. To countries, say, Vietnam, Cambodia still struggling with abject misery after wars, a big amount of spending for music and painting proves infeasible.

However, the need for arts is rising these days for their long-term worth, especially during the time the country is beyond the peak of economic development and gears itself towards sustainable growth. With music, painting and other kinds of arts gaining their popularity, people’s spiritual life is continuously enriched. Such cities, say, Florence, Paris and Madrid are always unforgettable destinations of millions of visitors for their spectacular artistic creations and lure them into a different world where people are away from worries and let their creativity take off. These cities are also homes to various well-known art geniuses from Picasso, Leona De-Vinci to Gaudy who led art revolutions, partly by dint of their governments’ greater appreciation of this field and bigger expen***ure on it. America and Britain are, too, other examples of nations where music industry overwhelms other key ones for their greatest generation of profit, which again derives their governments’ frequent organization of musical shows and festivals to attract audience world-wide.

In a word, governments should pay more attention to key sectors when their nations are in the embryonic stage of growth, but once they escape the life of poverty, arts should have bigger says for their mental, educational and economic merits.

Topic 29: People think that old buildings should be knocked down and give way to the new buildings. Do you agree or disagree? How important are old buildings to us?

It’s no denying that nothing on Earth could be existent permanently without innovation, and buildings are no exceptions. Brilliant as they might be, they are unlikely to escape from being subject to the ravages of time until they are no longer serviceable. Hence, there has been a constant debate about whether to reconstruct these old buildings or to maintain them. From my perspective, not every old building should be replaced, as it depends on the quality of the certain building whether or not it is worth preserving.
My opinion is due to the fact that there are some old structures possessing values that are absolutely irreplaceable. Some buildings reflect aesthetical, architectural, archaeological or historical merits, which make them become symbols of a city, a country or a people’s culture. There are numerous examples to be taken, such as the Egyptian Pyramids, the Taj Mahal and the Eiffel Tower. Furthermore, owing to their unique architecture, they are inspirations to many architects to construct other great structures. It also should be noted that some old constructions, if well-preserved, can help obtain a considerable tourism income. Supposing all of them suddenly vanished, it would be a gigantic and unrecoverable loss to our and next generations.
On the other hands, while conceding the values to be kept of some old buildings, it is also worth noticing that there are others with no specific merit. Consequently, it is intelligible if they are utterly exterminated when they have been ruinous. The main point is that their poor con***ion is likely to put dwellers and pedestrians at risk. Moreover, it’s them which blemish the city’s landscape, even when they have been renovated. In ad***ion to that, the decision of maintaining them anyway is, frankly, a ludicrous one that ends up leading to a waste of space, time, and money. It’s far better if city planners make up their mind to annihilate them and re-build more gorgeous and beneficial ones instead.
From what have been discussed, one can conclude that an old building can be put down or retained, depending on its own implication on the city and citizens’ life. The people involved, therefore, should weigh the pros and cons of this structure before signing a re-constructing plan.

Chị ơi, em viết lại bài 19 của Writting 1 lần trước. Có gì chị chữa cho em luôn:

The charts reveal the rates of students by s3x and degree in various colleges belonging to Higher Colleges of Technology in the year 1999.
From the first bar chart, it readily can be seen that there were a number of differences in enrolment in the colleges. Definitely, the most populated were the two colleges of Dubai, with 547 students in Dubai Women’s and 426 in Dubai Men’s, of which the sum almost doubled that in Abu Dhabi colleges and tripled that in Al Ain colleges. In contrast, Ras Al Khaimah Men’s and Women’s were the colleges having the lowest populations, at 102 and 178 respectively. On the other hands, it is no denying that the all-female colleges always outnumbered their all-male counterparts in the same locations.
The second bar chart shows that the number of women was greater than that of men at almost levels, except Diploma degree where it is marginally lower. For instance, the rate of female students in Certificate level was close to 700, compared with about 520 men studying in the same level.
Combining the second bar chart and the pie chart, we can see that the number of people enrolling in Certificate level was largest (50%), followed by those in Diploma (27%) and Higher Diploma (20%) degrees. There was only 3% of students was studying in Bachelor level.
In summary, there were more women than men in the Higher Colleges of Technology, where most students enrolled in Certificate degree.

De 39: Discuss the reasons why people define happiness differently and how to obtain happiness?
With the advance of human civilization, there are an increasing number of people who have raised doubts about whether every individual wishes to be happy in life. So complex is happiness’s definition and people have different perceptions about happiness, therefore there is very hard to define happiness in general. Some words can define happiness, such as contentment, pleasure, gladness, cheerfulness, joy, glee, bliss, delight and ecstasy; however, these elements determine the approaches taken by different people to attain happiness.
Perhaps this is because of simple fact that happiness is the most important aspect of life as it enables people to look forward to something that making you happy. With age, ***, one’s attitude, capabilities, and concerns, there are some factors that being visible to influence people in pursuing one’s own happiness. For example, one has the passion for dolls as a little girls, flying kites as a boys, sitting in the secure and comfortable lap of his mother as a babies, possessing the latest fashions in garments and jewelry as a trendy women, saving up by cutting down on useless expen***ure as a fugal persons, scoring good grades as a students, getting a good job with a high position and fat pay packet as an unemployed persons. In ad***ion, some intrinsic factors including one’s temperament, characters, pursuits, and philosophies are less obvious and tend to be subjective in influencing one’s perception of happiness. Some find happiness in riches, others in spiritual pursuits, for still others happiness could mean chatting away in the company of a good friends or just spending some quite time alone. Hence, it is evidence that every human being in this world has his own definition of happiness.
What is also worth noticing is that how one can identify one’s own definition of happiness. The answer to this question is simple. First identify what makes you happy, you have got your own definition of happiness. For example, a poet’s definition of happiness could be finding the perfect rhymes for his verse, a rookie it could mean scoring a home run, a doctor’s happiness could be the return of that long lost smile on his patient’s lips. So we see that having one’s own definition of happiness is a very healthy sign of our existence.
Yet I am one of many people who feel that happiness is the sweetest feeling could ever happen to mankind. There are myriad ways to explain happiness, but only one way to feel it-straight from the heart. Could you define this as your way of finding happiness and share your experiences with those who are quite like you, this would bring you added joy. Once you have indentified what makes you happy, all that you have to do us pursue that activities adds bliss to your life. Happiness is all in your state of mind.
From what has been discussed above, we may finally draw conclusion that people are all motivated to attain objective for their happiness. Happiness is a fundamental and lasting sense of joy and serenity that results from achieving personally meaningful and rational value. Happiness is, in the words of Aristotle, “the best, noblest, and most pleasant thing… the meaning and the purpose of life, the whole aim and end of human existence.”
