Many people take the view that hosting a major sports competion is comprehensive benefits for a country. Some hold the opinion that it cause a lot of trouble for the country. In this essay, it will be shown that the positive impact of hosting a sports event outweigh negative it.

Those in favour of the former statement hold the view that it is good for several reasons. Firstly, it brings direct economic benefits to the host country, and generates a large number of job. While the visitors that will come to watching the sporting event, they spend money. They go to hotel, restaurants and bars and spend on that. Of course they buy souvenirs. Furthermore, organizing major sports contest will help the country better known around the world. It is also a great way for the country to show country's image to potential future tourists. Secondly, these events had helped the country to acquire modern sports facilities, spurred huge infrastructure investments. And as such, when the tournaments go away they can be used by the locals to train for future.
However, the second thing that must be taken into consideration is that hosting a major sports competion causes many problems. First of all, they may spend too much money for the new buildings needed for the sporting event. For instance, a country will often build huge stadiums and arenas in the hopes of getting the Olympics. In some cases, this outflow of money is great and can have a negative impact on the economy. The money being poured into the olympics and sport in some people eyes could be better spent on the welfare or roads. In ad***ion, the great people who worked on the olympics are jobless afterwards.
From what has been discussed above, we may finally draw the conclusion that it is very good for a country to host a major sports competition.

Sport is an activity which is concern and governments spend much money developing it. However, there are two points of view which are contrary about how to invest money in sport.
About the first point of view, some people believe it is better for governments to spend any available money for sports on providing facilities for the general population. Firstly, it goes without saying that sport is good for health. It not only improves people’s health but also prevents people from diseases, especially overweight. Next, sport is the same as a game. It helps us entertain and reduce stressed after working hard. Some sports force us play with team so that we can make friends, develop good relationship and learn how to be co-operative. They are advantageous for our life.
Besides, others believe that instead government should invest in training top athletes to win major competitions. It has some advantages, too. Due to investment of governments athletes have good con***ions to practice and compete. Certainly, they will achieve noble awards and make our country be high rank in the world. They help our country show power’s nation. In ad***ion to seccessful athletes are good role models for the young. Children and teenagers like athlete so they will be practice sport like their idols do. Therefore, they will have good health and opportunity to become athletes.
From my own perspective, it is necessary to spend money for general population .Because a person is a member of society and people are healthy so they build a good society and develop country. People are valuable resource which need attending.
Based on the above discussion and analysis, we can see that it is difficult to decide because there are many suggestions for a problem. Governments should discuss what action to take. Solution not only protects benefit of nation but also satisfies demand of citizen.
