Along with the rapid development of society, more and more issues are brought to our attention, one of which is the pollution that many nations must cope with. There are three main types of pollution. They are land, air and water pollution. Although they harm the Earth’s environment and its inhabitants in many ways, there are still some solutions that the governments can do to protect our Earth. In this essay, firstly, I will give some situations to show three types of pollution, and then I will present some measures to solve them.
We can not deny a universal truth that the land pollution is an enormous problem of the world. The most important thing that can be seen by every person is the deforestation. In fact, forests have been cut down not only in many other countries but also in Vietnam. For instance, five thousand hectares of mangrove <ST1forest</ST1<ST1</ST1 have been cleared for shrimp ponds. To guard forests – the green lung of the world, the governments must punish seriously forests destroyers. In ad***ion, it is very essential to plant more trees on the land where forests are damaged.
What is also worth noticing is that the air pollution is happening all over the world. We may look into every possible reason; however, the foremost reason for this is toxic fumes. According to a report by the United States Department of Energy, the country’s emissions have reached 7.12 million tons in 2010. Due to this big matter, Copenhaghen conference was held in 2010 to require countries to cut down annual emissions. To achieve that result, everyone has responsibility to reduce the amount of toxic fumes. For example, we can go to work by bicycle, use public transport more often, or buy cars with less - polluting engines. Especially, Japanese scientists invented the car which is powered by water and ethanol. Both of them are materials which do not produce emissions.
The third thing that must be taken into consideration is the water pollution. There are many situations that we can witness in real life but one of them is contaminated rivers. For instance, Vietnam.net reports that <ST1Thi </ST1Vai </ST1River</ST1 had been polluted by Vedan Company for 14 years with up to 105.6 million liters of untreated waster water. From my own perspective, the key to solve this problem is to force all the companies to build wastewater treatment system. Besides, the government must charge water polluting factories with high taxes.
From what has been discussed above, we may finally draw the conclusion that the land, air and water pollution are becoming more and more serious all over the world. Unless the suitable and effective measures are found out, we and our future generations will live in a polluted environment. Therefore, it is high time for the governments and their citizens to do immediately to prevent the Earth from the pollution.

These days, the wealthy in society often throw away perfectly good product in order to replace them with more up to date models.
Do the environmental disadvantages of this development outweigh the economic advantages?

In our time and age, much debate has taken place about whether the higher class usually upgrades the good but old product into new models. As each coin has two faces so this fact has also the negative and positive effects on environment and on economy relatively. From my own perspective, the positive effects take the superior weight in long term. There are many reasons supporting this view point.
The first reason that can be seen by every person is that the consumption of the rich is certainly a good factor to enforce the growth of the economy because 20% richest of the population possesses 80% material power. That is the reason why the rich have a great influence on all aspects of life, especially economy.
There is another factor that deserves some words here; the purchasing forces of the rich are also the motivation of the innovation of technology, fine arts… The reason is that the demand of high income persons is not only a good product to response the basic need but also a product with clever appearance, perfect functions, and careful services... to show their position as owners or bosses of plants, stores, companies, and real estate… These requirements encourage the development nonstop of sciences and bring to humankind the chances to change the material life.
Finally, the incomparable advantage of this view is that the population can find out many solutions to minimize the negative effects of this matter on environment. One of these resolutions is creating some organizations to collect the out of date goods to donor or sell-off to the poorer persons.
All reliable evidences point to one saying is that the purchasing of high grade persons has more positive influences than negative issues.

Next, pollution of water is also serious. They are contaminated rivers, melting ice caps and droughts. Everyday, there is much industrial and domestic effluent which flows to river or lake although it is not treated. Temperature of the earth has increased and that makes ice caps melt. Deforestation and growing unsuitable tree kind with land and weather cause droughts. Final is pollution of air. Toxic fumes are produce from factory, means of transport and there are too much CO2, SO2 in air. Beside toxic fumes and greenhouse gases, global warming attracts many scientists. Those problems make pollution more and more critical.
Many conferences and discussions are held to find solution for pollution and solutions are suggested. Firstly, government should propagate about disadvantages of pollution to citizens so people are awake of their responsibility for protecting environment. Next, we should grow many trees. It prevent soil from erosion, make air fresh. Each family should reduce waste, recycle rubbish. Then, Factories must treat industrial effluent before it flows to river. Industrial factories should be moved to far from city. We should save energy. For example, turning off electrical equipment when you do not use it, using renewable forms of energy and using public transport more often.
Environment plays an important role in our life and pollution problems are not strange with us. Therefore, people should pay attention to pollution of land, water, air and reduce them.

Firstly, the inviroment pollution, includes air, water and land pollution, must be recognized. Smog appears in the cities that is the first sign to identify the air pollution. The acid rain and global warming are also the air pollution. The water pollution appears in all sources of water. That include droughts, floods, contaminated rivers and melting ice caps in both poles. In ad***ion, the last thing that must be taken into consideration is land pollution. I do strongly support the idea that land pollution takes a direction effect to human activities because the land pollution includes litter on the streets, deforestation and soil erosion.
After understand deeply about inviroment polltion, the solutions must be given to reduce pollution. The first solution that can be seen by every person is that the habit of people must be changed. The people should turn off every light and appliance when they are no longer in use. In ad***ion, public transport is used more often and the people should buy cars with less-polluting. Another solution that I advocate the attitude is the actions of the countries’ government. The governments should change polluting factories high taxes and use renewable forms of energy, e.g wind or solar energy. I strongly support these sollution because Singapore that has sirious laws to reduce rubbish and polluted atmosphere and uses the energy effectively is the cleanest city in the world.
From what has been discussed above, we may finally draw the conclusion that how to identify the pollution and the solutions of this pollution must be given to both people and governments.

As society develops, people are attaching much importance to environmental pollution which affects human health and other living organisms. Many countries are experiencing serious problems with pollution of their land, water and air; they are also trying to improve the environment.

Soil plays an important role in life of human; however, land pollution is becoming seriously for all countries in the world. The main problems on land are the soil erosion which is the loss of nutrients in the surface crust, the indiscriminate deforestation and land-fill sites full of rubbish. There are many ways to improve land pollution, such as no littering in public places, planting more trees.

In ad***ion, water also is polluted, mainly freshwater and coastal water. Droughts, floods and the large consequences of them, melting ice at the poles of the earth and the oil spill in the ocean show water pollution. Especially dumping waste and chemical into rivers and insecticide infiltration into the artesian water cause this problem to become more difficulty. We can deal with them by treating waste well and managing oil-rigs strictly.

Furthermore, air pollution is the burning issue of the whole world. It creates acid rain, smog, toxic fumes and greenhouse gases. The ways to reduce these problems are by turning off lights when they are no longer in use and using renewable forms of energy.

Particularly in Vietnam, the pollution of land, water and air is very disturbing. According to the summary of Global Environmental Program of United Nations, Hanoi and Hochiminh city are two of the six most serious polluted cities in the world.

Once you have known all of these, you must agree with me that the world is facing the serious pollution of environment so environmental protection is one of the most important issues of countries to keep and develop life.

Along with the development of society, more and more problems are brought to our attention, one of which is about the living environment as land, water and air. The environment that we live in and make use of, is being stripped off its precious components day by day. Therefore, the list of environmental problems and solutions presented in this article should throw some light on how do we go about the conversation of natural resources.
The first problem that can be seen by every person is about contamination of soil. The soil is an important natural resource on Earth that used for growing crops. The contamination which alters natural composition of soil affects the food chain and the entire ecosystem. Use of chemical fertiliers is a major cause of contamination of soil. Making use of organic fertilizers not only protect the soil from getting damaged, but also leads to the production of crops with less amount of toxic chemicals. Besides, laws against such contamination need to be stringent, and the approciate agencies have to be tough in the enforcement of those laws to help keep soil safer for humans and animals.
The second thing that must be taken into conderation is the water pollution. Water pollution is a growing problem globally. This problem has prevailed for so many years and we are not still able to find sactisfactory sollution. The indiscipline about disposal of industrial water is an important factor responsible for water pollution. Therefore, the improment in the recycling process is the possible solution for this problem. Implementing the guidelines set by the local goverment should solve the problem to a great extent.
The last problem must be mentioned is the depletion of ozone layer. The ozone layer protects living beings on earth from ultraviolet rays of sun. This layer is becoming thinner day by day due to pollutants like nitrogen oxide, sulfur dioxide, lead, carbon monoxide...The depletion of ozone layer causes several health problems. Reducing the daily exhaust fumes is the solution to protect the ozone layer.
From what has been discussed above, I think that environmental problems should be handled by local and international authorities. Every single person should take care of environment, moreover we have to bring up our children to be conscious citizens of a clean and preserved planets.

Finally, what is also worth noticing is that the greenhouse effect. This term refers to trapping of heat by the certain gases in the atmosphere, including carbon dioxide and methane, whereby it keeps the Earth warm enough for human *****rvive. Nevertheless, the greenhouse gases have increased dramatically by the human activities, for example burning natural gas, coal and oil, including gasoline for automobile engines. Hence, it has led to a range of catastrophic impacts such as sea level rise, climate change, drought and flood. Therefore, one of the best ways to prevent greenhouse effect is to use public transport more often and if you must drive a motorbike or a car, you should make sure it is fuel-efficient.
All the evidences support an unmistakable conclusion that the world has encountered a mass of environmental pollution which has affected not only land or water but also air. Consequently, the community, especially the families and schools should bring their children up to be aware of the importance of environmental protection when they are young.
