Well you know, in Vietnam, everyday there are many newspapers which are published. Each newspaper suits different subject and purpose. There are newspapers for teenagers, students or old person. People who like to laugh can read humorous newspaper. People who want to know about daily event can read daily newspaper. Information are always update quickly and exactly. However, some newspaper-houses only pay attention to information which makes reader shock. There are a few educational newspaper or which contain mental value.
2. Tell me some of the rules about talking that children in your country learn, such as when they can talk and when they can’t?
When I was a child, my parents taught me when I can talk and when I can’t.
When seniors are talking, children mustn’t interrupt. You are being criticized, whether right or wrong, you have to keep silent. When they stop, you can explain. You shouldn’t speak loudly because it seems like you scold them. Besides, in the class, student mustn’t speak freely. If you want to speak, you will raise your hand. If the teacher allows speaking, you can speak.
3. What effects do you think using computers could have on children’s writing skills?
If children use computer to type letters, they can’t practice forming letters, letters will be bad and speed of writing is slow
Because computer correct mistakes automatically, children never know spelling of word exactly.
When going to school, children can’t write down teacher’s lecture quickly and briefly. When using computer, children often abbreviate some words or sentences. Actually, it isn’t a good habit. It makes other people difficult to understand.
Therefore, I think children should be active, not depend on computer

Well you know I come from Viet Nam which is parting World Trade Organization, the people in my country often read newspapers to update information. Beside newspapers is information channel of government, so reading newspapers in the every morning is habit of society. After parting WTO some famous newspapers as An Ninh The Gioi………also have world information about economy, political,war over the world. However a lot of shock information in newspapers is don’t truth to attract readers.

Well you know viet nam is tra***ion country. so[FONT=&quot] when I was a children, I was taught when I can talk in the class that now I always keep in my mind. In class, when the teacher are lecturing, all children must not talk to themselves – you know. Beside Children are taught to invite other people before having meals and they are not allowed to chew foods and speak much at the same time[/FONT]

I think the computer is harmful for children’s writing skills. Writing on the computer will has automatic program to correct spell mistakes, children will forget using dot,comma and grammar sentence.

Well, I suppose there are two main kinds of newspaper in my country. Firstly, there is tra***ional newspaper which is printed on paper and sold at the store. People often buy it in the morning to read every news such as sport, culture, politic... The other is posted in the internet, called e-newspaper. Each kinds have theirs usefulness but it seems that the youth likes e-newspaper more. I think that is the result of its convenience, fast update and its number of hot news.

2. Tell me some of the rules about talking that children in your country learn, such as when they can talk and when they can't
Well, my country, Vietnam, has a tra***ion education. The children were taught many nice behaviour, especially the talking rules. You know, a child is highly appreciated with his good at talking. Some western countries allow the children to call their parents by their names but in Vietnam they must call them “dad” and “mom”. Besides, they must answer the older’s questions respectfully. And then they were taught to give “thanks” when they get gifts or say “please” when they want some thing...I think those are the first lessons to make a good citizen.

3. What efects do you think using computers could have on children's writing skills?
Well, I think it must affect their handwriting skills. With every passing day, more children know how to use computer. They can find it more convenient and interesting to compose a paragraph by computer, but in a long term,they don’t know it will make them forget how to use a pen. Besides, you know, some children usually use special characters or abbreviate some word. That affects their grammar so much and make the elder confuse when they want to read their text.
