The graph shows Underground Station Passenger Numbers in London.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. You should write at least 150 word. You should spend about 20 minutes on this task

The line graph reveals information about how many trips were made by passengers on the subway system in London between 6.30 to 22.30. It can be clearly seen that the trend of this network is fluctuation over the period.

In the first two hours, the passenger number increased dramatically from 100 at the beginning of the period and then reached a peak of 400 at 8.30 o’clock. The dramactical increase over the first two hours was followed by a sudden fall to approximately 180 at 10.30. Between the next two hours, the number of passengers moved award gradually to 280 at 12.30. Subquently there was a slight rise in the passengers number with a much lower pace than in the previous two hours, from 280 to 300 at 14.30. Then, from 14.30 through to 16.30, the number of trips by passengers fell back significantly to 100, which was also the bottom of the graph, equalling the number at 6.30. Over the next two hours, the passenger number rocketing by almost 380%. After that, during the period from 18.30 to 20.30, there was a marked plunge in the number of passengers, to just short of roughly 120 people, followed by a steady improvement in the next hour. The number of people travelling by subway reached 170 at 21.30, and then declined slowly in the last hour of the period from 170 to 130 at 22.30. This ends my report here.<P style=[/IMG]

This has led to a rise in traffic congestion.
What could governments and individuals do to reduce congestion?

Along with the development of society, as living standards continue to rise, more people have beer owned a car. Private car ownership has grown dramatically in recent years. This has resulted in a rise in traffic congestion. There should be some solutions to reduce congestion.
There are numerous solutions for this case, and I would explore a few of the most important ones here. The first thing should be mentioned is responsibility of both governments and individuals. In fact, there are many traffic jams which are happened by consciousness of the traffic joiners. If somebody turns his car in wrong way, congestion will occur easily. However, the role of the governments is also important. Suitable policies need to be released. The road systems must be upgraded to agree with larger amount of vehicle each day. Besides, flow distribution is also encouraged.
There is a further more subtle solution we must consider that governments should have got some special economic method to control this problem. One of them is increasing tax of import car. This measure must be applied with both old car and new one. The tax rate in 2011 is in range of 72%- 82% (based on data in official website of Viet Nam General Department of Taxation). This rate needs to be higher. It can restrain significant quantity of import car each year and decrease private car directly.
Finally, the indispensable solution is that associating environmental communicator with developing public transports. More vehicles, more gases are discharged. It leads to many environmental problems. If everybody knows, they will use the public transports. This system need to develop to match with large amount of passenger.
Governments and individuals need to cooperate with each others to minimize the rush-hour.

Dương Thu Phương - E53

The graph below gives information on wages of Somecountry over a ten-year period. Write a report for a university tutor describing the information shown.
You should write at least 150 words.

The graph illustrates how the growth rate in wages of Somecountry have changed over the period 1993 to 2003. It can be clearly seen that the remarkable feature is fluctuation.
The rate rised and fell erratically. At the beginning of the period, the rate moved upward steadily then began collapse slightly in about 1994. However, over the next past five years there was a significant leap and the rate reached a peak at about 1998. Since then, the wages’ rate went into free-fall and could not recover sharply over the latter half of the period. There was a slowly pick up from 1999 to 2000 but the rate could not remain flat and continued to slip back gradually. In the end, the wages’rate reached its lowest level in about 2002 for the first time. Since 2003, there was a sharp surge in wages’ rate, which seemed set to continue. This ends my report here.

Hi chị, Mr. Ngọc E53 nộp bài writing 1:

The line graph reveals the changes on salaries of several countries during the period 1993 to 2003. It can be clearly seen that the trend of this data collection is fluctuation over the period.
The first point to show is that, the growth rate in salaries at the end of the period remained at same to the beginning of the period after reaching the peak and falling to the lowest point.
In the first year, there were significant surge from 2% at the beginning of the period to 4% in 1994. The dramatic increase over the first year was followed by a slight deterioration to nearly 3% in 1995. Subsequently, the growth rate in salaries jumped sharply and reached the peak of over 6% in 1998. Then, only one year after, in 1999 the growth rate in salaries fell back rapidly to 3%, which was also equal to the growth rate in salaries in 1996. Over the next 3 years, after having a slightly surge in 2000, the growth rate in salaries was falling significantly to the lowest point of 1%. After that, in the last year of the period, there was a slight leap of the growth rate in salaries to 2%, which was equal to the growth rate in salaries at the beginning of the period. This ends my report here.

The line graph reveals the number of English people using underground Station in a day. It can be clearly seen that a strong change of passengers hour by hour. The passengers start joining about 100 persons on early morning, but it does not stay long before a number of passengers rapidly double in 7am. Then it soars dramatically to the peak at 8 am with 400 people. Further on, rate of passengers declines sharply next 2 hours, from 400 to under 200.However, after 10am the number of passengers covers to 200 and reaching to nearly 300 at 12am before rising up slightly and ending up 300 at 2pm.Only a hour after, the rate drops to well under 250people and continues going down to the bottom with 100 people at 4pm.Suddenly there is a significant increase in passengers from 4pm to 6pm then next 2 hours there is an unbelievable reduction. From 20:00 to 22:00, rate of passengers fluctuates. Overall, this graph shows striking changes through 16 hours a day.
