Em Nguyễn Hồng Hạnh e53 , nộp Writing Task 2 chị nhé :D

Along with the development of society, more and more problems are brought to our attention, two of which are population growth and industrialization. In the 21st century, a significant propotion of the world ‘s urban population and a rapid industrialization cause many serious effects. In this essay, I will give information in order to understand why they are threats and how we need to control them.
Firstly, the problem I should mention is population growth. According to United Nations estimates, the population of the world have risen to over 6000 million by the end of the 20th century. While the rate of increase is only 7% a decade in western Europe, in many developing countries it is between twenty-five and thirty per cent. As the human numbers go up, deterioration of water quality and destruction of animal and plant communities shoot up, too. Moreover, rapid expansion of human numbers does not have effects only to the environment in general but also causes overexploitation of natural resources and provides pressure on food supplies. As a result, it will not be long until we observe a remarked decline in our living standards, or in other words a decline in our quality of life. Obviously, population control will be one of the biggest problems facing the 21th century. One way for a country to limit population growth is to institute laws that pohibit high fertility. Another important way is to improve education in order to give information about disadvantages of population growth to each citizens.
Secondly, industrialization can be used as one of the most serious problems causing the environment pollution and climate change. The Industrial Revolution resulted in a huge amount of smog and smut which covered the streets and stung in the air. Pollution has not only harmed the variety and beauty of natural but also affected human health and social. For example, major sociological problems created be industrialization is that of urbanization and crowding. Government should use a lot of strictly policies which limit its disadvantages and promote more and more its advantages.
From what has been discussed above, we may finally draw the conclusion that nowadays, the world ‘s cities have to face with many vast problems such as population growth and industrialization. However, all of them will be solved with the combination the Government and citizen.

Chị ơi tối qua e đi trực, mạng ở đây "lởm" kinh dị, e tranh thủ về nhà gửi bài ^^ Chị đừng phạt em nhé :D
Along with the rapid development of the society, remarkable changes have taken place in our world. In the 21st century, the proportion of the world’s population living in cities and environment pollution has increased substantially. This essay will discuss about the impact of these problems and the way in order to limit their disadvantages.
First of all, a steady increase in the number of the cities’s population caused many terrible issues. A city’s infrastructure is certainly put under pressure by continuing migration from rural areas. For example, as more and more people crowd into cities, water delivery and sewage disposal systems are often found to be inadequate to cope with demand. Moreover, unlicensed construction of dwellings usually leads to further problems for water and sewerage systems. Roads and transports services also suffer when they are overused. As more and more people attempt to travel, the roads quickly become overcrowded and the traffic flow slow. However, these problems are not inevitable. The water and sewerage systems can be effectively planned staking into account future projections of population growth, and systems can be put in place to deal with this increase. <FONT class=imageattach onload=[/IMG]Secondly, environmental pollution such as air pollution, noise pollution, water pollution… is also one of the biggest problems the world faces today. We have an enormous amount of edivence about how we are polluting our waters, our land and our forests with chemicals. This may occur either directly, through such means as insecticided, or the dumping of chemical wastes in rivers and seas, or it may happen indirectly, such as in the case of acid rain. We are also aware that the last of the world’s great rainforests are being cut down at such a rate that perhaps none will remain by the end of the century. Clearly, if we are to save our environment, we must attack both political and industrial self-interest and the problem or overpopulation.
From what has been discussed above, we may finally draw the conclusion that overpopulation and environmental pollution are risky problems of the world’s cities in this century. However, I believe that Government will find many solutions to resolve them with citizens’s combination.

Two of the most significant point at issues are heavy traffic and environmental pollution that are closely connected with each other.

The fact has been shown that the most urgent issue of the urban need to be handle in this century is traffic jam. Levels of traffic in many large cities are reaching crisis point. As a result of the overcrowded density, the dramatic increase of personal transportation means is witnessed in almost cities, especially in developing countries. Anyone who lives in a city is aware of the increasing numbers of cars, motorbikes and the kinds of problems this creates traffic jams. For example: Hanoi has a population of 6 million people and there are 70% among them driving to work every day by motorbike. Congestion effects not only to pedestrian but also to the government. It wastes traverler’time and energy and increases their danger as well as durability of their cars. Annually, government have to pour a lot of money to expend road system. To solve this problem, government should widely propaganda and force road user to comply the traffic law to enhance their attitude when participate in traffic. It is also need to improve road system and encourage the citizens to use public transportation means instead of individual means.

Although sources of urban air pollution from transport, industry, construction and other activities, but the main culprit is cars. As can be seen, there are many long line of cars collected together in the street of every modern cities. Every time a person drives his car somewhere, more pollution is put into the air. In many big cities, the high amount of air pollution causes health problems for the residents. The solution, it would seem, is for government to play the macro policy to reduce rural immigrant, encouraging the use of public transportation is one way government can work against this problem and start a better world.
