The graph below compares the number of visits to two new music sites on the web.
Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information shown below.

The graph compares the amount of access to two fresh music sites ,which are music choice and pop parade on the internet . It can be clearly seen that there has been fluctuation in both of them throughout the whole 15 days, but the data collection of visits pop parade indicated at a higher level then the music choice figures.
In first day,120000 visitors was accessing into pop parade.This number was slight erratic in first three days and continued to plunge significantly to 30000 in seventh day and varied again in the next 2 days.However, this skyrocketed swiftly from ninth days to eleventh days .The figure for fifteenth days reached a peak in the line graph ,approximately over 160000 peoples. In contrast, the figure of visiting in music choice in the first day was low at only 40000 peoples .By first four days, this had been marked fitful and began to fluctuated gradually in the next 7 days but rapid soared in twelfth days. The quantity of access into music choice then rose and fell slowly and erratically and more steeply slump in the last day.

PART 1:
1. What’s your mother tongue?
Well, my mother tongue is Vietnamese as you know is the national and official language of Vietnam that is used by about 80% of Vietnam’s population. You may not know but much of Vietnamese vocabulary has been borrowed from Chinese and it was formerly written using Chinese writing system. After that, the language displays some influence from French and Vietnamese writing system in use today is an adapted version of Latin alphabet.
2. What other languages do you speak?
Well, to be honest I should really say that English is the second language I speak beside my mother tongue, especially I love speaking English because as you know English has become the international language all over the world so that not only me but also everybody here want to be good at English to have better job opportunities.
3. What do you think is the best way to keep in touch with friends?
Well, the first thing I should mention is that the best way to keep in touch with friends is using technology, especially, as you know with the development of technology now a days, people have so many efficient ways such as mobile phone, skype, email or social networking. Also I suppose technology like the internet is available everywhere and you can access it very easy by using computer or even mobile phone to quickly get the latest information from your friends, especially you can talk and even video call with them.
4. Do people keep in touch differently now compared to 50 years ago?
Of course, It goes without saying that there is a big differences. For example, many years ago, people had to use letter to keep in touch with their relatives when they were away from home and it took much time to receive it. Moreover your letter or your information might not be delivered. But as you know now a day, everything is much easier, more quickly, more visual because you can even hear your friends’ voice or see them.

PART 2:
Describe a language other than English that you would like to learn.
You should say:

What you think would be difficult and what would be easy about learning the language
And explain why you would like to learn it.

Well, you may not know but Japanese is really interesting language, especially it expresses Japanese culture so I suppose I would have to say that I really want to learn Japanese. The first reason for this could be that in Japanese working environment, Japanese is always preferable, especially with the potential positions in Japanese companies. Moreover, there is a wide range of people who is speaking Japanese all over the world so that I really believe that I will have many Japanese speaking communities for me to practice it. But in ad***ion, I suppose I should say that it is very difficult to learn because as you know It is not based on latin alphabet writing system


PART 3:
LANGUAGE LEARNING
1. Is it considered important in your country to learn foreign languages?
Of course I think I would have to say that in my country foreign languages has become one of the most important subject from the secondary school, especially there are so many international foreign language centers. I really believe that everybody has recognized the important of foreign languages for their future job opportunities
2. What, in your opinion, is the best way to learn a language?
Well, from my own perspective I really believe that practice makes perfect in any case. The explanation for this could be that learning English somehow is about learning new culture so that it takes much time to have wide range of vocabulary as well as being able to use it as the native speaker. So I believe that no one can improve it without practicing intensively in your daily life,
3. Why are some people seemingly better at learning languages than others?
Well, in my opinion I really believe that if you have passion on doing something, you will get the best result so that learning languages is no exception. Moreover with some people they have better con***ion to practice it well such as travelling to the original country or spend much money to learn at the international language center.
ENGLISH AS A GLOBAL LANGUAGE
1. How do people in your country feel about being the world language?
Well, I really believe that not only me but also everybody in my country are always proud of being Vietnamese so that we will very proud of having our mother tongue as the world language. Because it will open new door for my country to exchange our tra***ional culture or business opportunities to other countries in the world.
2. Do you think the culture of English – speaking countries, as well as the English language, dominate the world?
Of course, in the actual fact I would have to say that English has become the most popular language all over the world, especially it has been used not only in the everyday conversation but also in business activities. Moreover, currently it is used by all the power countries in the world so that I really think that it really hard to change at least in the next 100 years I guess.
3. Why do you think people feel it is important to continue speaking their local languages?
Well, the first thing I should mention is that language describes the culture and tra***ional behaviors so that people always want to not only keep it but also share it to the foreigner. Moreover, it is easier to communicate and understand each other
