1. How often do you read book?
Well, I read book very often, erm, maybe everyday if I’m not busy. My favorite book is a novel, exactly, a Chinese Historical Novel, its name is “Romance of Three Kingdom”. First time, I read it 12 hours in two day to finish it. You know, and now I also read it again very often. Maybe, I have read it over 10 times.
2. Do you think it’s important for children to learn by visiting exhibitions and museums?
In my opinion, It is very important and necessary for children to learn by visiting exhibitions and museums, because they can learn everything about history, about technology, many things at there. You know, the children can go to internet to search, to get information about that but they can’t have the feeling as real as going to there, that feeling is wonderful.
3. Are libraries in your country more popular now than 10 years ago?
Ok, I don’t think the libraries in Vietnam are more popular. You know, the internet in Vietnam develop fastest in the world, and now Internet is more popular so that the Vietnamese often go to internet café to learn instead to Library. But there are always many people want to go to library, like me, because I want to read book not watch book to learn.
4. What are the characteristic of a good writer?
OK. I’m not a writer, but I think the writer must be an observant, ok and carefully person. You know, the good writer always tell us many things small, invisible around us that we can see. He or she must be an observant person to see that things, and be a carefully person to record them.

5. Well, I have studied many subjects in high school, in university, but the subject I like most is Marketing. I like it because ok, before I learn it, I don’t know why these companies are success, those companies are failed, so on. And after learning it, I have been taught that why that is, and I was very excited. Of course, I have learnt many other things about marketing but I only studied it for 3 months. I was so regretful when the last marketing period ended. However, I’m now studying myself about marketing because I think it is very important to my future career. After studying it, I hope I can make a marketing strategy to sell a product. That concludes making a best survey and analyzing the collected surveys, designing new product to attract customers, presenting an advertising strategy, evaluating new product design, and so on. In ad***ion, this subject make me a behavior that is presenting with the statistic, You know that is very important. In the future, I can make my own company, I can use that knowledge directly to develop it. In contrast, if I can’t, I can have a promotion because of my behavior in presenting which made from Marketing subject I earnt.

Em Ngọc Nhâm lớp E51 nộp bài speaking ạ:
http://www.mediafire.com/?99opdd44zq3hfye
http://www.mediafire.com/?b8o0ae48v73j096

SPEAKING PART 1:

• How often do you read books?

Well to be honest, in general I would say that I’m actually keen on books so I read books every day. I guess the reason why I’m a fan of books is because books not only give us excellent reference on things occurring in the past, but also offer many ideas on what is happening in the world today and even on what may go on in the future. As a matter of fact, reading books extend aid to develop personality and moral integrity. Actually, I suppose that for the most part I’d probably say that as human life is limited, if one wants to improve mental powers, one had better read books every day.

2. Do you think it’s important for children to learn by visiting exhibitions and museums?
Well in actual fact, if I think about it, I guess that in many ways it’s fairly important, especially when you consider that experiences, such as visiting exhibitions and museums, can also become a meaningful part of children’s identity and contribute succcessful social relationships in a manner that material items cannot. There is no doubt that a primary role of museums and exhibitions is to engage and educate the community. Something else that I need to comment on is that they are examples of informal learning environments. You know, it’s a lifelong process whereby children can acquire attitudes, values, skills and knowledge. And I shouldn’t forget to mention that museums and exhibitions allow children to meet with neighbors, discuss thoughts and opinions, and become an active part of the community. So all in all I guess my answer would have to be yes.

• Are libraries in your country more popular now than 10 years ago?
Of course I think I have to say that libraries in Vietnam are less popular now than 10 years ago. This is due to the fact that in the past, few people were able to buy all the books on the subject in which they wish to attain proficiency. It was therefore necessary for them to visit a good library, where they can read a great variety of books on the subject they love. Whereas in contrast, people now have more money, so it’s quite possible that they can buy their own books. On top of that I can also add that nowadays we can easily search for e- books in just some minutes with google search engine and read them without going out of house.

4. What are the characteristics of a good writer?
Well as you can probably guess there are many characteristics that make up a good writer, such as practice and passion. I really need to kick off with the point that practice makes perfect. The more you write, the more you will be able to synthesize information and find your own unique voice. As well as that, I could say that a successful writer must have a passionate interest in writing. You know, creating a great text without passion is like trying to breathe under water.

SPEAKING PART 2:
Describe a teacher you really admire:
Who it is
Why you like them
How long you have known them.
You should also explain what this person has taught you.

Well you know, among the teachers who have taught me through my school life, Teacher Hong is the one that I most admire. Actually, I’ve known her for 8 years. She was the English teacher of mine while I was in Thuan Thanh High school.
In contrast to some teacher's apathy, her vitality always refreshed the atmosphere in our classroom. And you might not know this but her enthusiasm and thoughtfulness still warm my heart to this day. Though my teacher was sometimes severe, her kindness and gentility always commanded our respect.
In fact, it’s quite interesting to consider that her method of teaching differed somewhat from that of our formerteacher. She paid much attention in correcting our pronunciation and drilled us in expressing ourselves in short English sentences. Her patience was wonderful as she will never give up explaining until every one of us understood. At the end of each lesson, she gave us assignments and let us work out ourselves. Her method meant more work for us to do in the evening, as we had to consult the dictionary again and again, so you know this helped us to remember the new words and phrases and we felt that we had been making rapid progress. In ad***ion to this, she had the magic to transform something painstaking into pleasure. Furthermore, lots of English songs were introduced to us in her class. Besides, she encouraged us to interact with her; therefore, the class was by no means serious and tense, but very enjoyable and inspiring.
With more and more days she spent with us, I noticed a distinctive quality of hers that truly amazed me. No matter what the weather was like and how she was feeling, she was always in high spirits when she entered the classroom, as if she was ecstatic to see us.

1. How often do you read books?
Actually to be fair, I think I would have to say that it really depends. Like for instance, if I have spare time then it is quite possiblethat I read books everyday because I would like to enlarge my knowledge about the world. However when I am very busy, I must stop reading.
2. Do you think it’s important for children to learn by visiting exhibitions and museums?
Well in actual fact, if I think about it, I guess that in many ways it is fairly important. Visiting exhibitions and museums is the best outdoor activity that can help children to remember and understand effectively about culture, history, science…Moreover, it is a good opportunity for them to release stress after pressures at school.
3. Are libraries in your country more popular now than 10 years ago?
Well in truth, nowaday, libraries in our country is more popular in contrast to 10 years ago. Obviously, when the society develops, more and more libraries have been opening as well as have been well and modern equiped. It is due to the fact that our government always encourages people to come and read in libraries.
4. What are the characteristics of a good writer?
Alright, the first thing I have to say that to become a good writer, it is necessary to be passionate. It is critical you write about things which inspire you. Otherwise you can easily become distracted and lose motivation. In ad***ion to this, a good writer need a large knowledge of society, culture, science…in order to make great works. Finally then, the creativity should be needed.
Part 2A
Describe a subject you really enjoy studying.
Well in general I would say that I am really in*****bject of International Economics. This might be because this subject is my major in university which provides me a general knowledge about both the microeconomic and macroeconomic issues relevant to the economic relations among countries. Today we are living in a global society. Virtually all nations are linked to one another by trade flows and financial networks that circle the globe, therefore I simply adoreit. Actually, I had been studying it for 4 years in university and I am now a lecturer at the Vietnam Commercal University, this subject is really useful for my career. It helps me to effectively convey to students the exciting knowledge about the theory of international trade, trade policy, exchange rates and balance of payments. It is also related to other economic subjects, so I firmly grasp the basic knowledge of others. That makes my lectures more abudent.

How often do you read books?
Oh, in particular I would probably have to say that I read books every day, especially if there is an interesting book, I will read it to the end. I often read novels for my pleasure and economics books to service for my work.

2. Do you think it is important for children to learn by visiting exhibitions and museums?
Yes, I do. Well, you know it is extremely important for children to visit exhibitions and museums, children can see firsthand the historical evidence or the works of art, which help children understand the lessons quickly, and it increases the knowledge and excitement for children.

3. Are libraries in your country more popular now than 10 years ago?
Oh, yes, they are. There is the big number of libraries and there are many books which increase both quality and quantity to attract the large audiences, especially for students, they go to libraries not only to read and borrow books but also to study because it is very quiet and serious.

4. What are the characteristics of a good writer?
Well, first of all, the main thing you need to know is that a good writer gives the proper purposes and right content of the story to help the readers not being in the wrong direction. Also, I suppose I should say that the writing style is very important because it is a key factor to attract readers.

Describe a teacher you really admire
Well, in general I would say that the teacher who I respect immensely is Mrs. Hong. She taught me the math when I was in grade 12. This could be because the first time I met her, I was impressed by her bright smile and friendly attitude. Then I noticed that she is strict in the class but she is extremely interested and enthusiastic to teach us, especially when preparing to pass the university entrance exam, she provided the amount of knowledge for us. Moreover, she also taught us how to behave with our friends and the others. I adore her very much, every year on the Vietnam Teachers' Day, my friends and I visit to express our deep gratitude to her.

1. Do you agree or disagree with the idea that, in the future, teachers will play a smaller role in education and students will rely more on internet resource?

From my own perspective, I agree with the idea that, in the future, the teacher's role will become smaller in education and students will rely more on the internet resource. Well, I'll give some reasons support my opinion. Firstly, you know, not only nowadays, but also in the future, the internet resource becomes more and more rich. Well, it will help the students to be easier to search the documents they want. This resource will the main source for students to learn. In ad***ion, i mean, teachers will play a smaller role in education. Therefore, they will only help students to know the way to learn and to work. So all in all, I strongly agree that students will base more on the internet in the future.

2. How would you compare single *** education with co-educational environments?

Well obviously there are some differences between single *** educational environments and co-educational environments. You know, in a single *** education, there is only one gender. Therefore, the environments at school will be boring. The student's gender development is not natural. In a co-educational environments, there are boys and girls. So that, you know, it will be so exciting, interesting in their student's life. You know, I mean, many emotions will be appeared during that time.

3. In your country, are subjects like physics and chemistry more important than subjects like art and music?

From my own perspective, I strongly recommend that, in my country, chemistry and physics are always more important than art or music. You know, in my country, chemistry and physics are the main subjects at school. Well, parents often want their children to study harder and harder at these subjects. In ad***ion, chemistry and physics are the basic science subjects for students, on the other hand, they help students to understand many part of life. However, music and art are not been interested in by their parents. You know, they are the unimportant subjects. So that parents don't want their children be attracted with them.

4. Do you agree or disagree with the idea that students learn far more outside the classroom than inside it?

From my own perspective, I agree with the idea that students learn far more outside the classroom than inside it. Well, I'll give some reasons support my opinion, firstly, you know, all things what students have been taught are inside class. I mean, students learn only theories from their teacher in classroom. In ad***ion, you know, when students go outside, well, they can know a lot of things which they are not taught inside class. Well, these things are practices, and practices are always more important than theories. So all in all, I strongly agree that learn outside class is better than inside it.

5. Evaluate whether or not there are any real differences in the approaches of men and women to learning?

Well obviously there are exactly some differences in the approaches of men and women to learning. You know, women always learn harder than men. So that, they often approach carefully in learning than men. They learn with high attendance. In ad***ion, you know, men are approach quickly in learning than women because of the better recognition of men. I mean, they can recognize the maintain of problems and solve them exactly. Because of 2 different ways in approaching to learning, men and women have a lot of differences.

1. How often do you read book?
Well to be honest, I read book everyday. When I was a student, I spent lots of my money to buy novels and economic books. After hard working hours, reading an interesting book can make me relax.

2. Do you think it is importan for children to learn by visiting exhibitions and museums?
Of course, it's important for children to learn by visiting exhibitions and museums, because they can remember their history by historical evidences, see new technology, and understand the art. In fact, the Internet is very polular, but I think watching and learning from real things is more efficient.

3. Are libraries in your country more polular now than 10 years ago?
Well as you can probably guess, nowaday, libraries in our country are more popular than 10 years ago. In the city, there is at least one library on each district. People can go to library to read, borrow books and enjoy the quiet space in there.

4. What are the characteristics of a good writer?
I guess I would have to say that I'm not a writer, but I think a good writer must be passionate, have a knowledge of literature, society, culture,... and have own writing style. The good writer can inspire the reader by their books.

Describe a teacher you really admire
I guess I could begin saying something about my History teacher - the teacher who I really admire. She is Thanh. She taught me when I was 8th grade. I was impressed by her friendly smile in the first time I met her. She have good knowledge not only of history, but also of many sections. You can see that History alway is not easy to teach and learn, but she known how to inspire to her students. She taught me that younger people need to know our history to understand our customs and develop country. Despite she taught me 9 years ago, I don't forget all her advices and will remember her as my admired-teacher.
