Em Phạm Thị Ánh - E55 gửi bài Writing Task 1:

The line graph provides information about changes of domestic access to modern technology in homes in UK over 7 years from 1996 to 2003.
It can be clearly seen that there are two basic trends: upward and fluctuation. As regards the first trend, the percentage of the Home computer climbs steadily from over 25% in 1996 to over 55% in 2003. Similarly the percentage of the CD player goes up gradually from 60% in 1996 to over 80% in 2003. Internet access appears later than Home computer and CD player but it surges very fast. It starts at the lowest percentage with only 10% in 1998 and then it surges significantly to over 40% in 2003.
It is noticeable that the percentage of the Mobile phone is fluctuated. It begins at nearly 20% in 1996 and improves to over 40% in between 1999 and 2000, and then leveled off, finally shoots up to about 65% in 2003.
    The report is ended here.

Chị ơi ,em Nguyễn Hải Yến E55,em nộp writing task 1 ạ.

The line graph reveals the data about the percentages of the modern technology that British households use. The initial impression from the graph is that the percentages of CD player, Home computer and internet access is upward trend and percentages of mobile phone fluctuate slightly and then go up. It can see that the beginning of CD player in 1996/1997 is nearly 60%. There is a steadily increase between 1998/1999 and 2000/2001, reaching a peak of over 80% in 2002/2003 .The percentages of Home computer is 30% at beginning .After that the percentages rise gradually to a peak at 55% in 2002/2003. Taking a quick glance from the graph, the percentages of Internet access at the beginning in1998/1999 is 10%.There is lower than the other technology, however, the percentage rise dramatically between 1998/1999 and 2002/2003.By contrast, it can be clearly seen that the percentage of Mobile phone between 1996 and 2001 to be fitful. There is a slightly difference with other three technology at the beginning is nearly 20%, then having a fluctuation but after that it rise at 70% in 2002/2003.

Chị ơi, e Thái Anh lớp e53 nộp bài ạ.
Do young people today make good use of their leisure time? Or do they spend too much time watching television and playing video games, instead of taking part in more productive activities?

Along with the development of society, more and more problems are brought to our attention ,one of which is that how young people use their free time. Although many ideas show that young people always use their time for good purposes, however, from y point of view, I think that they spend too much time for watching television and playing video games, instead of participate in more productive activities.
Nowadays, with the development of society and technology, there are more and more entertainment media tools for human, include tv program, the internet or video game, etc...These programs provide many useful information about science, countries' culture, etc...but the main point is that how people use them. I personally feel most young people have no idea about using these programs effectively, they just watch or play for their immediate relaxing demand. For example, a good film is really worthy to watch and give to us moments of comfortable relaxtion after a hard working day, but spending much time in a day just to watch tv is a waste. With that time we can do many useful works like learning a new language or reading book. Moreover, some programs in tv or video games can cause a decreasing of social interaction and an rising in negative impacts on people thought.
Young people should pay attention to some good ways of entertainment when they have free time, namely sport, arts, music....These activities is not only good for health, rasing creation abilities, they also take oppotunities for people to present themselve and gain social skills. In ad***ion, young people can use their leisure time for doing a partime job. That could give them extra income and especially much working experience.
From what has been discussed above, we can finally draw the conclusion that young people nowadays should spend less time for unnecessary activities and focus on things what are benefit themselve and society.

This numbers increased steadily in the next following year. Moreover, in 1998, the internet access was found and started with 10% of consumer’s demand. This demand increased rapidly in four years from 1998 to 2003, it reached more than 40% of demand. Parallel, the demand of CD player and home computer grew slowly. The demand for CD player in 2003 was 82% and over 50% was the number of percentages of home computer. Especially, during the time from 1999 to 2001, the demand of mobile phone was a bit stable with 43% before grew up quickly in 2001. Until 2003, the demand for mobile phone stayed at 70%, the reason for this growth may be concentrated as the born of many new mobile phones with new applications.[/FONT]
