In recent years, much debate has taken place about the importance of studying history. After all, it has already happened. There is nothing we can do to change it and actually it has no direct influence on our life. Thus, why do we bother ourselves with what has been and what is so important about history?

Firstly the history has many significant meanings, it is not an obsolete thing. Studying the past to understand more clearly the nature, human, hurt, and pain. For this reason, we know how to face problems in our lives to reduce consequences to the minimum. For instance, horrible damages of men and equipment of the two most consternated wars – World War I and World War II help we use peaceful strategies to solve conflicts to keep the World out of war. In other words, history provides us with valuable lessons which help to make our lives better.

There is an old proverb “like father, like son”, which indicates the importance of knowing who our forefathers are like. Thus, if children do not know what occurred formerly, they will repeat the same mistakes made by elders and then will not contribute significantly to society now. In ad***ion, history is not only something which happened long time ago. Yesterday, or even a minute ago also becomes a part of history. As a result, if they contradict meaning of studying the past, they will admit that we are living lives which become meaningless in the future.

In the conclusion, knowledge about history has many meanings. It is foundation of world development in the future. For this reason, it is necessary to encourage people, especially the children to study the past.

With the advance of the human civilization, there are an increasing number of people who have raised doubts about whether studying the past has little value in the modern word. From my own perspective researching history is very important in current era; I also argue that will be lot effect if children are not taught history.

The first reason supporting my view that can be seen by every person is that History not only reveals our pass, it also teaches us many lessons for today and tomorrow. The past can explain for the situations we face today, what we have done, we had archived to built up the societies we living with. Learning about conflicts in the past can teach us how to avoid them in future; we can use trial – and – error from mistakes in the past, therefore we could make a better way for the situations, solve the problems and improve the relationship between man and man. Further more, studying history might equip us many skills, for instance: history involves investigation and interpretation, hence it study develops thinking and logical skills.
Another reason why I prefer the argument is that there will be a enormous blank if children are not taught history, they said that “if we shoot the past with a handgun, the future will shoot we with many cannons” ,it is mean the future and the past are related. If children want to build the strong future they much know about it’s foundation – the past. If they do not know their history, they will find out who they are, where they belong, more over they will soon forget about their ancestors, forget how hard their fathers have fought for to protect and give them a bright life. Beside, in history, many inventions took an important role in human’s evolution such as fire, gun powder, electricity, steam… nowadays, thank for these we can improve our life by improve these inventions. By contrast. If our children do not studying history, they could not know about the importance of these inventions, thus they will not how to improve them and improve their life.
From what has been discussed above, I think the correct attitude is that yesterday, today and tomorrow are related, to make a strong future, we much understanding clearly our history. In ad***ion, studying history will equip you other skills and you will find it exciting.

Chị Thùy ơi, còn mấy bài writing ở trang 80 về mobilephone, trang 96 về environment, và trang 120 về wealth quyển I.S chị vẫn chưa trả cho lớp em - E51 chị ah?

Chị đã trả bài ENVIRONMENT và MOBILE rồi, chỉ còn thiếu bài WEALTH thôi em, bù lại lớp em chị đã trả hết loạt SPEAKING rùi. Chị đang chữa bài WEALTH đây em ơi [r2)] yên tâm em sẽ nhận lại ko thiếu bài nào nhé!

They could not understand how people have been changing from the past to present in all aspects as politic, economic, culture, society and would not have the sufficient knowledge of not only their nation but also others. This makes them appear undereducated like a tree without the root or a river without the source. Therefore, they do not appreciate the advantages which society provides.
*****m up, studying the past is considerably worthy and children should be taught history. It is not only broadens their knowledge but also train their thinking skills. Moreover, by understanding the past, people can find a way to be successful in the future.
