Along with the rapid development of society, many people who feel that studying history has little value in modern world. I do strongly support the idea that history plays an important role in life today and I suggest that have a lot the effects if children are not taught history.
There are many reasons supporting my view that we learn history in order to know the event of the past. For example, history reminds people of national defend and construction by ancestor who have died for the country existent and development. Through studying history we know the vitality of Vietnamese people that defeated the natural and the foreign invasion in order to develop strongly until now. Furthermore, studying the past can help us understand how recent, current and prospective changes that affect the lives of us are emerging and what causes are involved. Learning about conflicts in the past can teach us how to avoid them in future. The past can often provide explanations for the situations we face today, in fact, it help us to build the future. Another reason why I advocate the attitude is that history involves investigation and interpretation, thus, its study develops logical and thinking skills. It might also be noted that history should be studied, because it is essential to individuals and society. In fact, history teach children not just facts, however a range of skills for instant, they can learn how to analyse material, do basic sorting and research. More important, history broadens the minds of most people who study it that will lead to a better understanding of the world. From what has been discussed, one can reach only this conclusion: studying history is very important and necessary for everyone.

Chị Thùy ơi, còn mấy bài writing ở trang 80 về mobilephone, trang 96 về environment, và trang 120 về wealth quyển I.S chị vẫn chưa trả cho lớp em - E51 chị ah?

To some people studying the past has little value in the modern world. Why do you think it is important to do so? What will be the effect if children are not taught history?

In recent years, the place of history debates have been raised more and more without end. To some people studying the past has little value in the modern world but in my opinon history is really important. It is no coincidence that ancient cultures devoted much time and effort to teaching their children family history.


First, the only way we can understand who we are and how we got to be that way is by studying the past. We are the sum of all the events -good, bad, and indifferent that is guides our actions in the present. Second, history gives us lessons .By looking at what has happened, we can understand what we should avoid and what we should make better and understand the pain, the joy and more that people feel when they do something difficult or amazing. Just like reading a book, history is a big book filled with many real stories.



On the other hand, studying history have brough benefits for children. History helps children to develop the skills in the modern world to look beyond the headlines, to ask questions properly and to have the confidence to express their own opinion. Moreover, it also offers many opportunities for their success in the future. In a scientific research in 2011 on the successful people in American, most of them have insights of the history and humanity, beside a number of qualities and skills other.

Actually, it is 33m height with three platforms and the eight-side tower, and 41m height consisting of the flag pole. With original construction purpose as an observatory; Hanoi Flag Tower offers a breathtaking view for the watchers standing on it. The tower receives sunlight through 36 flower-shaped and six fan-shaped windows.
During Vietnam War, Hanoi Flag Tower was used by French troops as an observation tower and communication station of command headquarters. I think I would have to say that it is very important to preserve Hanoi Flag Tower as well as historic relics. Moreover, I really need to kick off with the point that Hanoi FlagTower becomes a historical vestige which links the past to the present inside the complex Thang Long Citadel 1000 years. Hence, it is a historic attraction that tourists who arrive in Hanoi should visit once. Well, in fact, the day before yesterday, I visited Hanoi Flag Tower with my friends and we had an interesting visitation.

And I shouldn’t forget to mention that the sculptor also intended with his work to be an immense and impressive symbol of human liberty. In fact, it is one of the most universal symbols of political freedom and democracy.
And one exceptional aspect with the Statue of Liberty is that its design and construction were recognized at the time as one of the greatest technical achievements of the 19th century, and, when finally dedicated a decade later, it was hailed as a bridge between art and engineering.
I guess the reason why I’m a fan of the statue of Liberty is because it’s more than a monument. She is beloved friend, a living symbol of freedom to millions around the world. These exhibits are a tribute to the people who created her, to those who built and paid for her, to the ideals she represents, and to the hopes she inspires.

It is the place where many sport competitions are held, it is located in downtown, opposite the convention center, between the August 19 square of Thai Nguyen province and Thai fair.

It is a large building with a lot of seats for the audiences, the center of the hall is sport ground. Outside the building has a large yard to play the outdoor sports. When there are sport competitions, the sporting event hall will be always packed by audiences, especially when there is a volleyball match, it is very difficult to find seats.

When there is not a competition, it will become the place where people of the province take part in sports, such as dancing sport, yoga, or gym. It is not really a local tourist destination, but it plays an important role in the spiritual life of the residents. It is near my house, it takes me only about 10 minutes to walk to there, so I often go to there to do exercise every day.

Well, this topic makes me immediately think about Van Mieu, maybe called Temple of Literature. Now, Van Mieu is located on Quoc Tu Giam street, Hanoi. In the past, it was a school, it was the first University of Vietnam, but nowadays, it is a temple in which Vietnamese tribute to the most famous Confucian Vietnamese people in the past such as Chu van an, etc. Of course, it has a tra***ional structure like other temple. I like most its roof, the roof was designed like the petals of a blooming flower. It’s amazing. The first time I was there when I was a boy. I went with my sister in Tet holiday. From that day, I always think it is very important to maintain tra***ional value of structure while the capital is developing rapidly.
As you can see, Van Mieu is very popular to foreign and domestic tourists. The foreign tourists can discover the tra***ional Vietnamese culture by Van Mieu’s structure, well, they also can explore the Vietnam’s history by 82 gravestones put on 82 turtle of stone. Of course, it is easy to find a green and quiet space inside a rapidly developing capital in Van Mieu. I think those are the features to get tourists attention in Hanoi.
