Tại sao nên học và thi PET (B1 khung châu Âu - chuẩn TN Thạc sỹ mới của Bộ GD - ĐT)?
Việc học PET là hình thức phổ biến để nâng cao các kỹ năng Tiếng Anh và ứng dụng vốn Tiếng Anh này trong các ngữ cảnh khác nhau. PET kiểm tra cả 4 kỹ năng: Đọc, Viết, Nghe và Nói, với các câu hỏi tập trung vào các tình huống giao tiếp trong đời sống hàng ngày. In the present age, transport is playing an increasingly important role in our lives, especially cars. However, in the meantime a numerous number of cars causes uncountable troubles such as a rise in air pollution, a higher accident rate and far more congestion.Therefore, some people argue that if public transport played a better role, then these debated problem could be reduced. In my opinon, I just partially go along with this argument. All the reasons will be explored here.
On the one hand, no one can deny the benefits of public transport. They are specificially “green” for the environment. Trains do not emiss any harmful gases that lead to life-threatening diseases and buses can decrease a great number of people driving cars or motobikes.Thus, if public transport can be more widely used, some of the traffic-related problems will be disappeared around the coner.In ad***ion, people can save a lot of money for fuels,car washing up,ect so using public transport must be encouraged by the government to boost the traffic as well as the economy.
However,it is too hasty if we do not consider the whole issue thoroughly.The main reason for traffic congestion is bad infastructure. Thus,if everybody goes on buses or trains but the roads are still terrible, I think all the attempts are nonsense. Moreover, careless and irresponsible drivers is another reason for increasing road accidents so the government must pay more attention to improve the quantity of drivers. Actually,the attraction of private vehicle is totally powerful and nonignorable.Most people prefer to travel in the own car owing to their convenience and independence.Taking into account all these factors, I may claim that it is quite difficult to change the situation in the near future unless certain action are taken by the governmen and consesus from all the residents.
To put it in a nutshell, I would concede that public transport does cone with some great effects. It is important that the administration should increase the role of it in order to urge individuals to use it more. As a results,all these heated problems might be sovled and we can comfortably go on the roads.

Along with the development of society, more and more problems are brought to our attention, one of which is that an excessive number of cars participating in traffic system cause many problems. Some people argue that the best approach to deal with such problems is that public transport plays an important role in our lifestyle. This approach is productive to some extent, but some other measures should be given equal consideration.
It should be first noted that traffic congestion is caused by commuters travelling to work; this is due to the fact that they go to work and come back home at the same time of the day-rush hours. Most of them use private cars for commuting. In fact, car-pooling and public transport are not of popularity. Hence, it is quite possible that the traffic is extremely chaotic nowadays. In ad***ion, this is the prevailing source of noise pollution, air pollution and longer commuting periods.
After careful consideration of the above facts, I, personally, stand on the side of the advocates, I do strongly support the idea that public transport not only reduce traffic jams today but also bring many advantages. The first advantage that can be seen by every person is that we will save the amount of many from using public transport. In fact, high – priced permits for parking in urban areas makes people spending more money, in ad***ion, the restriction of parking makes people inconvenient. Faced with high costs or no place to park, buses or trains are really useful for commuters. Another advantage why I prefer the argument is that public transport can help reduce pollutions in cities. In fact, reducing vehicles is described as decreasing carbon dioxide emissions.
In contrast, in many cities nowadays, the public transport is not in a very good con***ion. We cannot forget a universal truth that people using this kind of transportation have to worry about the carefulness of the driver or the quality of the bus, even sometimes people like “sardine in a car”. In ad***ion, the public transports are inflexible, unreliable, unpunctual, and uncomfortable, so, the commuters decide to return to private means.
From what has been discussed above, we may finally draw the conclusion that using public transport is an effective solution for tackling many problems nowadays. However, the government should spend more money improving public transport systems, buying new buses to replace the old ones so that people will feel safe when they use them.

However, in the contrary, public transport leads to some problems. Almost public transport at present isn’t in good con***ion and many human lives are depended upon the driver. Under the circumstance, we can’t absolutely trust the safe of them. On the other hand, sometimes, people look like “ sardine in a can” or very get furious because of the unpunctuality of the public transport. All of this make people return to private means.
