Topic 7 : aircrafts have been increasingly used to transport fruits and vegetables to some countries where such plants hardly to grow or are out of season. Some people consider it a good trend, but some people oppose it. Discuss both view ad give your opinion.

It is really undeniable that means of transportation with their fast development are offering people more choices in carrying goods everywhere all over the world. Obviosly, planes are being used more and more to convey foods such as fruits and vegetables to any region lacking of the supplies. Some people agree that this should be a positive trend but they are facing the disagreement of the others. In this essay, I will state my opinion.

Firstly, almost people consider the above trend a good thing due to its benefits bringing to both consumers and businessmen. It is the fact that it should be a very good way to meet customers’ demand and also offer good chances for merchants to expand their business. By using aircrafts with the fast speed and high transport ability, the lack of plants due to hardly growing and out of season is no longer a big issue in every country. Especially some like Isreal and Lybia, etc. where planting trees can get troubles because of their hot climate. Moreover, transporting merchandise via planes is considered the safest way among the other forms of transportation so the sellers do not have to worry much about the risks occuring during conveying goods.

Secondly, there are plausible reasons for opposing this trend. The idea maybe comes from the disadvantages of transporting by air. Although the advantages of this transport kind is undeniable, aircrafts seem to bring negative effects to our environment because the amount of emissions released from planes is very huge and theyu are annually contaminating any cloud which planes fly through. Respectively, the polluted clouds are the major factor responsible for acid rain which gradually destroys human’s facilities.

In my opinion, I support the idea that it is a good trend when aircrafts have been increasingly used to carry fruits and vegetables to everywhere people need them. Everything has its bad side and good side and transportation by air is no exception. In spite of its disadvantages, this trend is showing its benefits bringing to people, for instance, the economic effectiveness and time saving. Not only transport, planes are also widely used in various activities of human.

In short, I am convinced that aircrafts have performed their efficiency in conveying foods to some countries in which the supplies do not meet the consumers’ demands. This should be one of the main trends in transportation in the near future.

In the first 7 days, although the trend was obviously downward, the number of visits to the music choice site had still been larger than the one to the pop parade music. At the first day, the visits to music choice site reached 120 thousand times, triple time of 40 thousand visits to pop parade site. However, while the number of visits to music choice site fluctuated slightly around 30 thousand during this period, the one to pop parade site went down with the increasing falling rate until sank to a low point at just above 30 thousand at the end of first 7 days.

From the 8th day the numbers of visits to both sites had experienced a period of erratic behaviors. The visits to the music choice site soared a new peak by increasing 5 times, from slightly over 30 thousand to 150 thousand on the eleventh day, while the other to pop parade site remained stable at around 30 thousand over the same period. At the twelfth day and the thirteenth day, there is a remarkable substitution when the number of visits to the pop parade site overcame the one to music choice site for the first time. In this short period, the visits to the pop parade site collapsed to 80 thousand times, lower than the one to the music choice site by 50%. Nevertheless, at the end of whole period, the fourteenth day and the fifteenth day, the number of visits to the music choice site regained its top level when bounced back over 160 thousand times per day. By contrast, the number of visits to the pop parade site suffered a sharp decline from over 120 thousand to below 80 thousand times on those two days.

In general, the number of visits to the music choice site went through a period of volatility, but kept the leader position in almost whole period. Over the same period, the number of visits to the pop parade was steady at the first ten days before enjoying a leap at the end of period.

The line graph gives information about the growth of wages in some countries from 1993 to 2003.

The growth started at two percent in 1993 and suddenly doubled in the following year before dropping a half in 1995. This percentage stayed at the same level for a year then gradually increased to four percent in 1997. The growth in wages reached a peak of six percent in 1998.

Due to the global financial crisis, there was a dramatic crush in the wage between 1999 and 2002. After peaking at six percent in 1998, the growth sharply fell more than a half in 1999, then slightly rose to three percent in the end of 2000. After one year, the growth decreased by one percent. The wages hit one percent growth, which was the lowest point of the whole period. However, instead of keeping falling as many economists’ prediction, 2003 witnessed a recovery in wages at two percent.

In short, the growth rate in wages in some countries was unstable over the ten year period.
