Topic 28: People in many countries do not wear their tra***ional costume. Some argue that they would forget their history and tra***ion. Do you agree or disagree?

Tra***ional costume, actually, is one of the vital factors constituting every characteristic single culture. Despite its importance to a cultures and ethnicity, it is now less frequently worn by people. In general, many supporting tra***ional costumes always suppose its role in protecting ethnicity and identity.

Wearing tra***ional costumes, first of all, remind people of many distinct characteristic of their cultures. In fact, every single culture also has a typical tra***ional and how people wear tra***ional costume shows the extent to which they are willing to respect and retain their cultural heritage. In Vietnam, although Ao Dai, a tra***ional dress, is not worn daily as casual clothes, many offices require female officers ear Ao Dai as uniforms. Each tra***ional costume itself is a natural symbol and filled by many scene of ethnic identity. Nevertheless, with regards to Western, tra***ional costumes are almost only seen in theatres, films, and TV. With modern-style of Western, it is too difficult to see tra***ional costume in daily life but it dose not mean that they have neglected their history and tra***ion.

Another point *****pport the importance of tra***ional costume is their presence in many social setting with various suitable forms. Tra***ional costumes are used in different occasions, either formal or informal. In many countries, tra***ional costumes are considered as wedding dress or simply a kind of seasonal clothes. In Japan, for instance, Kimono, tra***ional dress, is worn in a lot of occasions with reference to wedding ceremony, New year holiday, even it can be worn daily. In fact, there are many forms of Kimono for each season and gender with typical names. Besides, the different ways of wearing Kimono also show status of people wearing such as social standing, the age, or marital status. In general, as the culture is very often reflected in the way of life of a society, the role of tra***ional costumes in a culture is undisputed.

In conclusion, tra***ional costumes, nowadays, still play a fundamental role in modern society. Although, there are many people concern and consider, it does not mean the one should wear it all the time. The importance is we should use it in right time and right place with respect attitude to preserve ethnicity and identity.

We can see that in the picture have two armchair . the armchairs are beautiful. Maybe they were built by wood and plastic or canvas . In the middle picture have two chidren who perhaps are siblings. They are handsome and have black hair in the right picture the boy is wearing yellow T-shirt and shorts. In the left picture the boy is wearing gray T-shirt and shorts. The childrens are playing with sand together. They are pouring sand into bucket and then pour sand out of bucket, so this action repearts. They are focusing bucket. Maybe two children are staying on the beach, so around have many sand . in the left corner picture have a person who is dressing black, so the person is worker. The atmosphere in there is very happy. Have two small sand pile behind two armchair and beside the people is dressing black.

On a holiday, everybody often go to the sea or places where they would like to rest, relaxing. Going to the beach is a good ideas with many people, many families. Particularly, in the summer, many parents let their children to go together to the beach. The beach has much sand. Kids very like playing there, they usually build the house or images which they are interesting by sand. In the picture, two children are playing general, they use paint and brush to paint images that done. The kids are cute!
Besides, there have two chairs. It arranged parallel for people who want *****nbathe. That is very great. I want to do that, too.

Topic 40: Some people think that telling the truth is not always essential. It is necessary to tell lies sometimes. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Answer:

Everything has a good side and a bad side, and lying is no exception. It is obivious that truth might not be always desired and furthermore, on some occasions, untruth is the best solution. Therefore I absolutely agree with the argument that it is necessay to tell lies sometimes.
The first advocacy for lying is that a lie is not necessary immoral. For example, in the hospitals, doctors always tell the untruth about the situation of patients to encourage them have positive thoughts. Assume that there is a patient dying because of the final stage of cancer and he only alive in 3 months. If doctors say the truth for him, I’m sure that he is going to abandon his life by kill his self or not take medicine and the death come fastly. On the other hand, if doctors say the untruth for him such as “ try to take medicine, you are recovering your health”, the result will be different. The patient will love his life and think positively and his life can be extended. It may be one or two years or ten years instead of three months. This is seemed that the benefit of lying.
The second advocacy is that lying go with people since the early childhood as part of the daily routine. The boundary between lies and white lies is abstract. People sometimes tell a lie or overstate the fact for relaxing or other social purposes. People always praise the effort of others to encourage them try more. For example, the they always praise the child’s voice to encourage the child try to practice, despite the fact that it is difficult for the child to become a singer. People always tell to appropriate with listener’feeling instead of telling the ugly truth because no one want to listen the ugly truth.
From what has been discussed above, we may finally draw the conclusion that it is wrong if we seem that lying is an unethic act. There are some occasions, we can’t tell the truth while in these occasions, telling a lie is accepted or even recommended. Therefore, one again we emphasize that telling the truth is not always essential and sometimes, it’s necessary to tell lies.

These two boys are playing with the sand. The boy on the right side, who wears an yellow T-shirt and a short jeans, is holding an orange bucket to create blocks of sand. He is not doing this alone. The boy sitting next to him also help him by scooping up the sand into another bucket. He looks younger so I think they are brothers. From behind them, there are two folding chairs which are usually used on the beach.
I like this picture quite a lot because it reminds me of my unforgettable childhood.

In this picture, I can see a buffet party where there are many middle aged pepole and just only a baby girl in. In the party, there are very delicious foods which are put in some trays. Foods are very fresh, clean and attractive. These food trays are placed on some range long tables. Some spices such as tomato ketchup, pepper ketchup and sauce which put on the table beside the food trays. To choose foods in these trays, everyone has to queue up. Each of them brings a dish to choose their favorite foods. I can see in this picture, there is a woman who in black and white skirt is carrying a handbag. She is choosing her favorite foods as sushi, salmon, etc…At the back of her, the baby girl is interested in foods in the trays. Hermother is helping her to choose some which she likes. While choosing foods, everyone is talking together so funny.
