They are divided into two main groups: from 18 to 30 years old and from 45 to 60 years old. Many points are mentioned such as: team spirit, chance for personal development, relaxed working environment, promotion prospect and money, however, it can be seen that there should be two main things on the list: internal factors and external factors. Internal factors come from the workers, their own expectation towards the jobs such as: chance for personal development and job satisfaction, and the rest are external factors such as: relaxed working environment, promotion prospect and money. Among those internal factors, it can be clearly seen that group from 18 to 30 has been influenced strongly by chance for personal development and promotion prospect while the group from 45 to 60 has been affected dramatically by money and team spirit. Both of those groups share the similarities such as the personal development in the future and promotion prospect. However, the difference also lies in themselves: young people are more hungry for promotion prospect, relaxed working environment and money than the middle age.

There are three main areas mentioned Notting Hill, Regent’s Park, Fulham. According to the table, it can be clearly seen that the price in Notting Hill is the most expensive even with different property. Similarly, the salaries needed in Notting Hill is highest for example, with 3 bed- room, the salary must be 194,000 pound per year. Fulham is cheapest with 600 pound for 3bed- weekly rent, and 157,500 pound for this rent. London is one of the most expensive places in the world, so it is not surprising to know that the renting price in London is very high. However, to choose the right place where the price is reasonable and acceptable is hard because it depends on how you are lucky

There are two options for this plan, first, the supermarket can be built next to industrial area and housing places. It is 12km far from Hindon and there is one main road to get to the countryside. The benefits are: not very far from Hindon, easy to travel outside, handy to buy goods, not surrounded by industrial areas and housing places. However, the population in Hindon is less than Bransdon or Cransdon, so it is not sure that there will be more customers in this area.
The other option is to build supermarket in the center of industrial areas and housing places. There is one railway coming across the supermarket and two main roads leading to Bransdon and Cransdon. This position can bring the benefits: easy for everyone to travel by railway as well as by bus or car, not very far from Bransdon and Cransdon, in the center of populated areas. Those two options can bring both advantages and disadvantages, however, the second option seems to be better as it is easy to access the large population in Bransdon and Cransdon.

This bar chart indicates the difference between two aged groups of worker in term of several elements influence their productivity.

Those stated factors affecting working pleasant can be categorized into 2 types: internal factors consists of team spirit, competent boss and job satisfaction, other elements will be traced to external factors

In term of internal factors, two groups of workers show the same results conducted from the survey. As is shown by the graph, about 50% of both groups equally consider team spirit, competent boss and job satisfaction as elements which can boost their attitudes in working. In contrast, external factors show the dissimilarity of two age groups. While approximately 80% of young people prefer opportunities for individual development, promotion and flexible working environment, less than 40% of older workers thought so. However, nearly 70% of each group indicated that money is a main element of work. The same pattern was applied for work environment, up to 30% of two groups believed that money was an important factor.

All in all, two age group of workers showed the same results for internal factors which influenced their working pleasant while they show the differences on some external ones.

    1.2

It can be seen from the table that there is the differences on rental charges between 3 areas of London and people must earn more money in order to live in a better place.

In term of rental charges, it is clear that Fullham is the cheapest place to live with the cost to hire a 1 –bedroom flat is 215 pound and nearly double for a 2 bed ones. Regent’s Park stood at the medium position in the chart with the rental costs between 325 and 650. The most luxury area was Notting Hill as the price for a 1 bed apartment per week was 375 pound, 150 pound higher than at Fullham.

Regarding to salaries, it is clear from the table that people have to earn a large amount of money to live in Notting Hill, about 98500 pound per annum for a single flat and 127 500 pound for a little wider one. In contrast, 56500 pound a year should be enough for people who rent a small apartment with one bed in Fullham.

Overall, the harder people work, the better lives they have. Thus, people who intend to live in a comfortable and beautiful place like Notting Hill have to work harder and obtain more money.

    1.3

The site 1 which is at the country side of the town will have several advantages including a wide parking place for customers as well as for suppliers. Furthermore, Site 1 near the railway, so this was clearly the convenient road *****pply commo***ies to the supermarket. In ad***ion, Site 1 is nearer to the north housing part of the town and the Hindon town. Thus, if the supermarket locates at site 1, consumers living around can come and buy goods in order to increase sale revenue of it

Regarding to Site 2, being near to the railway also makes site 2 a good place for opening a mall. However, the distance between site 2 and two other towns of Bransdon and Cransdon are 16km and 25 km respectively, a little bit far for customer to travel to the supermarket. As a consequence, it can prevent customers from going shopping at a new supermarket. Moreover, locating at the town center without a traffic zone may reduce a number of customers who go shopping by cars and suppliers deliver goods.

In conclusion, although both of sites are perfectly suitable for locating a supermarket, site 1 has more advantages for customers. Therefore, site 1 is highly recommended as an excellent place.

1.The bar chart presents information about factors affected work performance of workers aged 18-30 and those aged 45-60 at a major company.

As shown in the bar chart, the staff was influenced by 10 factors, divided into internal factors and external ones. The internal factors are team spirit, competent boss, respect from colleagues and job satisfaction. The external factors are chance for personal development, job security, promotional prospects and money.

On the internal factors, there is not a great deal between the aged 18-30 and those 45-60. Approximately 50% employees in each group considered that team spirit, competent boss and job satisfaction are significant aspects contributing to make their environment pleasant for working.

In terms of the external factors, the result is completely different in some way. 80-90% of the younger workers were influenced noticeably by the chance for personal development and promotional prospects whereas the olders constituted less than 50%. Turning to the money aspect, the percentages of the two group were in favour, are approximately the same (70%)

In conclusion, with the dissimilar responses on the external factors, younger employees were generally more likely affected than the olders.

    2.
The table gives data on the expense in pounds of renting a property with one, two or three bedrooms in 3 differents districts of London and the salary each individual would need to earn to rent in these areas.

It goes without saying that the renting cost in Notting Hill is the most expensive, from £375 per week for a one bed-property to £738 per week for a three-bedroom property. Therefore, you should earn the amount of money are approximately between £100,000 and £200,000 annually depending on the number of bedroom required. In contrast, Fulham is known as the cheapest area with weekly rents starting at £215 for a one bed property and rising to £600 for a three bedroom property. Corresponding with these costs, a person would demand £56,500 and £157.500 per year. Reffering to Regent’s Park, it might be a more suitable suburb for everyone could only afford in the middle price range for accomodation.

    3.
The map shows the two optional locations to build a new supermarket for the town of Garlsdon.

The first proposed place (S1) is located in the countryside, near the main road to the town of Hindon, lying 12 kms to the north – west. It would be very convenient for people from Hindon and Garlsdon who could travel by car. A further advantage is the railway line linking the two towns to Cransdon (25 kms to the South East) creating a good con***ion for a large number of shoppers would be able to travel by train.

Regarding to the second potential location, S2 is in the middle of the town centre. Furthermore, this site is close to the housing estate , this would make it more accessible to not only local residents but also the shoppers travelling by rail from the surrounding towns. However, the central area is a no-traffic zone, accessing to the store would be difficult because there is no car parking.

In conclusion, although both sites have pros and cons, S1 would be probably more appropriate for all the towns.
