There is a heated and debatable discussion of whether museum is createdto educated and publicity. About this statement ,from my own perspective , I will list out several factors that may reveal the benefits of education exceed those of leisure
First and foremost, it goes without saying that museum is the valuable resource of information ,which is based in historical events .Hnce, it is used as teaching materials for lecturers and scholars in various institutions . To illustrate this point, I would like to mention the curriculum of primary school . In this day and age , visiting a museum once in a term is a compulsory part of syllabus . It can be inferred that particular visuals might boost the ability to absorb lessons of students
It is also important for people to realize that museum is favourite landmark of citizens and it represents the uniqueness of one country . Let me provide the Museum of Roma , the eternal city , as a proof . This palace contains lots of art masterpieces belonging to Leonardo Da Vinci and Michelangelo , two well-known artists all over the World . These statues and paintings have been standing there for may centuries . Therefore, they raise the awareness and pride of Italian citizens on their country.
Admittedly, it might be argue that museum requires money for maintainance and only attracts separate sectors of residents . However, the truth is it brings about a lot of income from tourism and provide jobs . In Hanoi, National Museum opens on both weekdays and weekends since quite a few foreigners and Vietnamese dwellers desire to come
Off all I have discussed above, I can be finally conclude that the role of museum depends on purpose it serves the society . Museum not only preserves national identity, educates people but also being used as recreational place . This trend is predicted to continue in the future

1.1 )The table illustrates the route length anf the number of passengers in the tube system in six cities . Taking a quick glance at the graph , it can be clearly seen that Paris and Kyoto owned the two most crowded underground railway stations among six cosmopolitans
Regarding London, its tube system was opend in 1863, the oldest one , had the length of 394 kms .There were approximately 775 million people travelling tube in London annually . In the case of Paris, the system was established in 1990, the number of passengers stood at 1191 millions per year .
Another striking feature is that while Tokyo underground railway system was held later then two former cities , in 1927 , the quantity of traveler was the largest , constituting at 1927 million . As for Kyoto , another city of Japan , the figure for passender was relatively small, accounting for 45 million . Los Angeles tube system , the newest one , was held in 2001 .
It can be inferred from the table that the vast numbers of European passengers are attributed to the long history of underground railway facilities

1.2)The graphs illustrate the enrolment in various universities in Higher Colleges of Tech in 1999 in both ***es .The pie chart indicates the level of graduates .
Taking a quick glance at the first bar graph, it can be clearly seen that the numbers of graduates from Dubai were the largest , figure for female stood at 547 , that of male constituted at 426 .Regrading other places namely Abu Dhabi anf Sharjah, the figure for both genders were relatively the same, accounting for approximately 250 and 170 graduates respectively . The quantity of graduated students in Ras Al Khaimah was the lowest , 102 for men and 178 for women .
The second bar chart compares male and female graduates in level . Regarding certificate degree, the number of female graduates stood at well under 700 , exceeding that of males by more than 100 . Similar trends were seen in the case of Diploma and Higher Diploma qualification . Surprisingly, as for Bachlor , there were no men graduated
Take a look at the pie chart , the proportion of certificate degree made up half of total . Two followers were Diploma and Higher Diploma when the figures constituted at 27% and 20% respectively. The lowest percentage was occupied by Bachelor , namely 3% .
It can be inferred from the graphs the woman far surpassed man in terms of enrolment in HTC
1.3)The graphs illustrate the quantity of foreign travelers to Australia per year nad the countries where visitors came from . Taking a quick glance at the graphs , it can clearly seen that there was an upward trend in the number of foreigners
Regarding the line graph , it is apparent that the level of growth virtually remained constant between 1975 and 2005 . There was a threefold increase in the number of oversea visitors to Australia from 10 million to well above 30 million at the end of the period . In 1985 and 1995 , the figures stood at 15 million and 25 million respectively .
In the case of the table , another striking feature is that the amount of visistor from Japan rose substantially, about fourfold, from 3.2 million in 1975 to 120 million in 2005 . As for South Korea and Europe , the trend was less dramatic and the figure for the former climbed remarkably , about threefold from 2.9 million to 9,1 million in 2005 . That of the latter hit the peak of 4.5 million at the end of period . Regarding the USA and China ,the quantity of oversea vititor increased marginally .As for China , the figure peaked at just 0.8 million in 2005
It can be inferred from the graph that the upward trend is predicted to be continuous in the future .

1.4)The line graph indicates the number of underground railway passengers in London from 6 am to 12 pm . Taking a quick glance at the chart , it can be clearly seen that the trend was obviously erratic , the figure hovered around 100 and 400 people .
Ragrading the starting point at 6am, there were 100 tube passengers . After that, until 8 am the number of underground railway passengers increased substantially to 400 . In the next two hours , the figure dropped remarkably to just well under 200 people . Then , it rose gradually to approximately 300 and virtually reached a plateau till 14 pm .Afterwards , the quantity of passengerdeclined sharply and hit the trough of just 100 in 16 pm . After this , the figure cimbed considerably and peaked at 400 peol\ple in 18 pm before It plummeted to well above 150 passengers in 20pm. From 20pm to 22pm , the figure fluctuated and eventually stood at about 150 people .
It can be inferred from the graph that the times between 6 am to 8 am and 16 pm -18 pm are the most crowded ones due to they are when individuals go to work ans travel back home

The table shows data on 3 aspects : date opened, kilometres of route and the number of passengers per year of the underground railway systems in 6 cities.

It can be clearly seen from the table that London opened the railway station earliest in 1863 and then Paris has the second oldest. London’s railway station has the largest railway system with 394 kilometres of route, which is nearly double the route in Paris’s one. Whereas, the newest railway system is in Los Angeles, with the day opened in 2001 and just 28 kilometres of route. In contrast, Kyoto has the smallest railway system, its route is only 11 kilometres, which is 30 times less than that of London.

With regard to the number of passengers, although Tokyo has just 155 kilometres of route, it serves the greatest number of passengers, at 1927 million of passengers. Following this, the system in Paris attracts the second largest number of passengers, at 1191 millions passengers. It might be said that corresponding with the smallest size of the railway system, Kyoto only serves 45 millions passengers per year.

Overall, the local people in London, Paris and Tokyo tend to travel by train much more than those do in other cities.

1.2
The graphs give information on student enrolment by level and gender in the Higher Colleges of Technology in 1999.

There was a tendency for women to graduate by college more than men. The number of Dubai women was more than that of men (547 compared to 426). In ad***ion to this, there was a similar pattern noted in the Ras AlKhaimah college, but with the smallest figures, 178 women compared to 102 men.

Turning to graduates by level, there were more females graduating from 4 types of degree than males. The number of females at certificate was nearly 700 whereas that of males was just under 600. The different course noted in diploma, in which males graduated a little more than females.

Referring to the total graduate by level, the majority of students were at certificate level (50%), with more doubled than those at higher diploma.

In conclusion, the majority of students were women and most of the students studied certificate level.

1.3
The line graph shows information on the figure of visitors travelling to Australia in millions of people. The table gives details on visitors from 6 countries going to Australia in 1975 and 2005.

As can be seen from the line graph, there was a steady upward trend for the overseas residents visiting to Australia. It started at just 10 millions in 1975 and then increased sharply to over 30 millions in 2005.

According to the table, in the two years, the largest number of visitors came from Japan. In 2005, 12 millions people were from Japan, compared with 3.2 millions of those in 1975. Besides, South Korea and Europe had many people travelling to Australia as well. In contrast, there were the least number of Chinese visitors going to Australia in both years, 0.3% and 0.8% respectively.

In conclusion, it is widely accepted that with the improvement of standard living, human has tended to travel more than before.

The graph gives information on the number of passengers at London Underground station on a particular day.

In the morning, the station served the first group of 100 passengers at 6 a.m, As the bussiness time was from 6 o’clock to 8 o’clock, there was a sharply increase in the number of passengers at that time, with 400 people at 8 a.m. Afterwards, the figure dipped down noticeably to just under 200 people at 10 o’clock. From this point, it rose slightly, with a plateau of just under 300 people using the station between 11 a.m to 3 p.m.

In the afternoon, following the upward trend, the number of passengers continued falling to about 100 at 4 p.m. From this point until 6 p.m, there was a steep climb to a peak of just under 400 people. After 7 p.m, it dropped rapidly again, with a slightly rise at 8 p.m and then tailing off after 9 p.m.

In conclusion, the Underground station served the most passengers in the business time, in the early morning and early evening.

Writing task 2

Nowadays, news play a vital role in human’s lives. Many people feel strongly that we can widen knowledge from news. In contrast, other individuals claim the idea that journalists do not tell the truth. Both sides have of course their own reasons, but I think the first view is more valid and my reasons for saying so are presented below.

First and foremost, we can not deny many benefits that news bring about the human’s lives. Reporters have responsibility to expose all the facts of a controverial issue drawing a lot of attention of the public society such as food-stuffs hygiene or criminal offense. In ad***ion to this, journalism helps local people update promptly the latest news and headlines of the political situation of a country. Let me take the political crisis in Thailand recently as an example. There were many demonstrations of the red-shirts protesting the current government of Thailand. As the violence occurred regurlaly on the streets of Bankok, it thus was hazardous for foreign visitors to travel to Thailand. Therefore, reporters brought news about the crisis to the public in order to warn visitors in advance.

We should also recognize the fact that journalists sometimes twist the facts or fabricate news to increase viewing rates or merely satisfy people’s thirst for gossip. More seriously, some unmoral journalists accept bribes to conceal the truth of an issue. News thus become less trustworthy.

Another point I would like to mention is the standard of a successful journalist. Firstly, a good journalist must have objectivity to judge and report information. Another important quality is honesty, despite being offered a great bribe to cover up the truth, journalist has to resolutely protest for distorting facts and misleading the public. Last but not least, they should also have good language skills and broad knowledge in different fields to convey all messages to the audiences.

After discussing all the points above, I can finally conclude that with regard to many benefits, it is necessary for the audience to respect successful journalists. Besides, unmoral journalists must be punished strictly by the government.

The table reveals the subway systems in 6 big cities in terms of dates opened, the length of route and the number of passengers per annum
Regarding to the opened day, London subway system was the first underground system used over the six cities, starting to serve customers in 1863. The youngest tube was the one of Los Angeles with the age of 20 years (opened in 2001).
Surprisingly, the underground of London not only was the oldest one but also provided passengers with the longest route of 394 kilometres. In contrast, Kyoto tube lines were 11 kilometre long, made it the shortest metro system.
As for the numbers of passengers, only 45 millions of traveler journeys were recorded in Kyoto tube system per annum. In contrast, another Japanese underground system, one of Tokyo, was very crowded as it served about 1927 millions travelers per years.
It can be inferred from the table that different metro systems in different cities were various in terms of the age of its system, the number of travelers and the length of journey
2
The graphs represents the information about students enrolled in various technological colleges in 1999.
The first bar chart illustrated the numbers of graduates in different colleges in technological field. Dubai institute was standing at the first place which had 547 females and 426 males graduated in 1999. Ras Al Khaimah college had the lowest numbers of graduates, 178 for females and 102 for males. There was the similarity in different institutes that female graduates outnumbered male graduates
As for the second bar chart, the common trend was that the number of female graduates usually higher than the male ones. Nearly 700 females got certificate while only about 580 male passed certificate level. Higher diploma and bachelor level showed the same pattern. Only in diploma level, males showed the better results than female when the number of males got the diploma degree was more than 350 people but the ones for female was less than 350.
Regarding to the pie chart, half of the graduates received the certificate degrees while only 3% of graduates passed the bachelor level.
It can be inferred from the visuals that the most of the students enrolled in higher colleges of technology in 1999 to study under bachelor level and the main gender was female.
3
The visuals illustrated the information about the tourism industry of Australia by overseas residents.
The line graph represented the number of foreign visitors to Australia over the period of 30 years. In 1975, only 10 millions of oversea residents traveled to Australia. But there was an dramatic increase in this figure. Over 3 decades, the annual visits to Australia by overseas peoples was more than threefold.
In the case of the table, it can be clearly seen that there was an upward trend in the number of visits to Australia with different origins. Japan was the country which had the largest number of visitors to Australia over 30 years between 1975 and 2005. In 1975, only 3.2 millions of Japanese people traveled to Australia but this figure was nearly triple in 2005. South Korea and Europe were other regions which had lots of people visiting Australia each year.
It can be inferred from the visuals that over 3 decades, Australia becomes more and more popular as a promising destination of tourist.
4.
The chart represents the number of commuters of London metro station in daily route from 6 AM to 10 PM
The most crowed time at the London underground station was in the morning. In 2 hours between 6 and 8 AM, the number of daily travelers increased dramatically from 100 to 400. Afterward, it dipped down to about 200 at 10 AM. From 10 to 14 , there was a plateau of just under 300 passengers served at the London underground station. During the next 2 hours, the figure of travelers using London station dipped down to less than 100 people. From 4 pm to 6 pm, this number recovered significantly to reach nearly 400 visitors. 2 hours from 6 pm witnessed the sharp decrease with less than 150 travelers using the London metro station. In 2 last hours between 8 pm and 10 pm, the number of travelers in the station tailed off, standing at nearly 150 people.
It can be inferred from the line graph that the busiest times of a day in the London Underground station were early in the morning and from 16 to 18 with regard to rush hours.

The information brought to citizens covers many aspects of life, such as civil unrest in Middle West, global warming or private life of celebrities. However, there is a spread belief that all most the information is wrongly delivered to human by reporters. In this essay, I would like to express my contradiction to this statement for the reasons I will outline below.
At the ages of information, updating news is essential for people. People need to be noticed about hot problems arising every hour all over the world delivered by active reporters. Journalists are in charge of providing fair-views about many global controversial issues attracting the attention of the whole citizen. A concrete example of this is the crisis in Libya. The news about civil unrest in this country has been updated regularly by journalism to inform people to quickly leave this country. In ad***ion, for people who have relatives working at Libya, it is crucial for them to know whether their relatives are survived or not. Therefore, it is necessary to have journalists to bring news to human. However, some of reporters are trying to adding imaginary details in news to increase the rate of views but this can not overshadow the benefits that journalism brings to human lives
Granted it is true that journalism is not an easy field to work in as it needs a lot of qualities. As stated above, the first requirement for a reporter is objectivity. Furthermore, he has to be honest not to distort human by fabricate news . A reporter tent to be hard working as the news can come in any time of the day and he needs to process it quickly and exactly to update to the citizen. A journalist also be a very brave person who can go deeply in crisis areas to collect information to his reports.
After discussing all the points above, I can finally conclude that journalism plays an important role in human life regarding to the advantages it brings to us. As for unqualified reporters that raised bias or cover the truths, the government should have strictly policies to manage them.

The former was opened in 1863 while the later was only opened in the first year of new century. In 1990, Paris opened its own underground railway systems considered as the second oldest, followed by the opening of these systems in Tokyo, Washington DC and Kyoto.
In the case of the length of the railway systems, we can see that the older the system was opened, the longer its route has. London has the largest system with 394 km of route and not surprising, the second one belongs to Paris which owning 199 km. Kyoto, howerver, has the shortest system with 11 km of route being nearly three times less than Los Angeles-the newest system.

In another word, the number of travellers soared from 10 to 30 million in 20 years, especially the period from 1985 to 1995 witnessed a surge of 10 million traveller per 10 years.
The table shows the data of many coutries whose travellers went to Australia. Overall, the noticeable feature to see is that Japanese is the most common traveller because in both year 1975 and 2005, the biggest number of visitors came from Japan with 3.2 million and 12.0 million, respectively. A vast majority of news provided on the mass media comes from journalists . However, a sizeable percentage of people claim that we cannot trust the press . Society might never be able to settle this dispute, but , personally , I am in favor of the opinion that we can gain information from journalist and I will list various personalities needed for a qualified and successful journalist .
Granted it is true that due to the pressure of administrative system and burreautic governments not to mention the apetite to money , journalists may hide the truth and exxagerate various situations . Nonetheless , the truth is there is a tremendous number of writers willing to reveal corruption of authorities and sensitive circumstances . To illustrate this point , I would like to mention the case of Truong Hieu Ba , a famous Chinese journalist . In order to struggle for the hapiness of Chinese citizens , Ba did not obey the Chinese communism laws . As a result , he was arrested and sentenced for 3 years in jail . However, he was awarded Nobel Price of Peace and his stories received critical acclaims all over the world . Therefore, in this day and age there is an increasing number of people absolutely trust what is presented on the mass media , especially on the Internet .
It is also important for people to realize the desirable characteristics of successful journalists .First and foremost, a journalist should be knowledgeable , trustworthy as well as reliable in order to take responsibility for what he presents on the press . In ad***ion, he should be breave and adaptable to cope with difficulties anf dangerousity in working environments . A concrete example is the scenario in Iraq . To obtain the news, journalists have to penetrate iro violent society, containing lots of threats *****rvival , Last but not least, charms anf elegance sometines essential to attract the publicity for the very first impression .
Off all I have discussed above,I can finally conclude that we can trust most of information provided on the mass media. Furthermore, a journalist need a variety of personalities *****cceed in career and in order to deserve the support of viewers .It is commonly believed that education plays a vital role in nurturing the talents of writers .
