Tell your difficulties when learning English.
Nowadays, learning English is more and more necessary need in our life but the difficulties when leaning English , such as listening skill, speaking skill , writing skill is the popular barriers with me anh almost Viet Nam students. For example, I have a lot of mistake when speaking English because the difference between Vietnamese and English is pronunciation. I have started learning English when I was grade in 4. This subject isn't compulsory in my school so I don't spend much time to study it. In the classes at my school, my teacher just focused on English grammar. She skipped to teach me listening skill, speaking skill. I am not active to arrange my schedule. I have 3 English classes per week. One class lasts 45 minutes. I don't have enough time to learn listening and speaking skill carefully. This event is very common in primary schools, secondary schools, high schools in Vietnam. I hope in the future Ministry of Education and Training will solve this event as soon as possible.

Túm lại là đến ngày hum nay, và trong quý 1 này mình chỉ còn nhận 3 học sinh cho lớp duy nhất sau đây, còn lại tất tần tật các lớp khác là full hoặc "cực kì full" rùi

When reading a paragraph, I often face so many new words, specialized words that I don’t know the meaning. According to Ha Noi Foreign Language University, 9 per 10 students in Viet Nam speak without stress, it makes students face difficulties when they speak and listen. I must practice much to change the way I pronounce, to improve speaking and listening skills. People said that “you can’t write if you don’t know meaning of the words” and “synonyms sometimes are not really synonymous at all”, so, writing requires real life experiences, wide and deep knowledge about vocabulary, structure and grammar. You see, learning English is not easy, I must learn English everyday if I want to speak fluently, it takes much time and drives me crazy![/FONT]

Learning English is always challenging to many of us since it takes great effort and time and I have more difficulty with is write a topic or speak English fluently. I can’t easily speaking English in most instances. I also often misuse some of the English words such as "come and go", or "take and bring" because when we translate them into Vietnamese, we have the same word, and they seem very similar to me, so I find it quite difficult to use them correctly. Sometimes, I have doubts about my pronunciation, intonation and accent. Maybe I have some difficulty following all the facts but you do know almost all of the words and phrases that are being used. But if you asked me to make a 5-minute presentation on a subject of your choice I'm sure that this would be quite a challenge. People who learn English as a foreign language often say that writing is more difficult than any other skills. Firstly, writing requires good grammar, the grammar rules admit many exceptions. Secondly, I’m often known to spend less time to write than to listen, to speak and even to listen. First and foremost, when I write (speak) something, I have a big question in mind whether what I write (speak) is correct or incorrect.

Tell your difficult in learning English.
I strong believe that the most difficult skill in learning English is writing skill. First of all, it requires learners to have solid foundation in grammar and abundant vocabulary.We not only understand about the subject that we write but also must know the way to develop our ideas, explain them clearly or prove our viewpoint by giving specific supporting details such as: example, statistic…Plus, in oder to make our writing more attractive, the fact that we use vocabulary flexibly and apply advanced structures is very necessary. All of these reasons is why approaching writing skill is a challenge with me. When writing an essay, I often feel confused in arranging sentences to present my ideas and make many grammatical errors. That is the general trouble for most of Vietnamese students. According to The British Council – a organization which holds the IELTS test in Vietnam, the quantity of candidates who get the band score above 6.0 in Writing section just make up 30% of total examinees. There can be no doubt that without practicing carefully, writing does become big obstacle if students want to study in English speaking enviroment.
