My mother is a teacher and her main income is national salary. Recently, in ad***ion to teaching at school, she also teaches at home.My brother is a lecturer. National salary is not now his main income''s source. He teaches technology information at National University. Over the world, especially in Vietnam, being a programmer (who codes to make application softwares...) is one of the most popular career trends. Thus, he also works in the form of parttime at a outsourcing company, called A.N.Lab JSC as a programmer.
These examples reveal that having several careers or ways of earning money is becoming fashioned. Indeed, when society becomes more and more modern, everything becomes more and more specialised. As a result, many jobs, especially knowlegde jobs and service jobs are produced. In Vietnam, the number of well-eduaction employees in one scope cann''t meet demand in this period of time. And, some employees don''t need to spend their all workingday time at workplace such as teachers, lectures, ....So many companies make use of them. This way also helps the companies save such as pension contributions, medical insurance...
In Vietnam, in recent 3 years, many people have bought stock with the hope of making extra money. And, some people with a relative amount of money take part in real-estate market, to make profit of the gap between buying price and selling price. Moreover, senior managers become very good consultors and lecturers.
However, to do many jobs efficiently at the same time, employees need to innovate their own knowlegde. The only way is that they have to learn throughout life. Firstly, in globalization time, english is become more and more important and common. However, Vietnamese employees couldn''t use english fluently enough to meet demand of their careers. Of course, not only english but also many foreign languages, such as Japanese, Chinese, French....Secondly, quickly changing technology has led to quickly changing applications. Thus, without learning these changes, you will become useless inspite of having good command of your specialization. Third, in modern society, people have more time and money to invest their hobbies such as swimming,.... Certainly, they have to study to improve their skills. In conclusion, learning is one of human''s demand in modern society.
