Before I met you,
I was badly hurt from relationships that fell apart,
I didn't wanna live no more
I just wanted an end,
I thought nothing could cure me,
My heart would never mend.
You walked into my problems
and made them go away,
I didn't wanna be with you,
'Cause I thought you'd hurt me someday.
I gave you a chance to see if that was true,
But something was different and you were something new.
Now, I know what your love is truly about,
your sweet, honest, and loveable,
something I can't live without.
I hope that this love will last,
Because you know I'll always love you,
I hope we'll never part,
because I know you love me too...

When the sun never shines,
and the moon never glows
When darkness is too bright,
and the river never flows
When the nights are not dark,
and the days are not light
When forever does finally end,
and the eyes have no sight
When confusion is so clear,
and voices can't be heard
The sunset never fades,
and no one says a word
When ears cannot hear,
and the grass never grows
When silence is too loud,
and the genius never knows
When strength doesn't strengthen,
and flowers never bloom
When hearts can't be broken,
and eternity is too soon
When the wind never blows,
and the rain is never wet
When thunder can't be heard,
and the sun refuses to set
When a dreamer cannot dream,
and the obvious can't be found
When the ocean is not deep,
and the earth is not round
When angels don't protect,
and a fact is not true
When life can't be lived,
and the sky is not blue
When the truth is a lie,
and the fake becomes so real
The clock shows no time,
and wounds never heal
When enjoyment isn't fun,
and bells cannot ring
When a race cannot be won,
and a singer cannot sing
When pain does not hurt,
and enemies never fight
When rainbows have no color,

When all these things finally happen,

Is it really love?
or is it just a passing feeling
am I not convinced?
a bit uncertain of the feeling
Is it the way you make me feel?
so warm with joy and laughter
or could it be the happiness
from moments spent together
The lasting bliss, the kiss I miss,
The sweetest thoughts without a touch
The heart that hurts and bears a scar
thinking how far away you are

And at night I go to bed and pray
An angel soft and gentle as you
Would make my sweetest dreams come true
Thinking about you alone or in class
Writing your name on my bathroom window glass
Wishing you were here
To love hold and care

As we both travel to the skies

Valentine's Day is a day of love
Where love is as bright as the sun
We share kisses, and even a hug
With people we call our loved ones
Unrequited love is oh! so harsh
When the one you love doesn't love you
You feel you're left standing in the dark
Wishing this reality were untrue
Well that's why Valentine's Day is so great
It encourages you to show you care
