Entry Requirements: Good Undergraduate Degree Applicants must have a strong academic record in undergraduate study from a reputable, degree-granting academic institution. Work Experience Applicants must have a minimum of two years full-time work experience in management or related functions. Only work experience after graduation is considered. While compulsory military service will not in general substitute for work experience, National Service in Singapore as an officer may be taken into consideration in the computation of length of work experience. Special consideration will be given to applicants with 1st Class Honours degree and have work experience that is less than the requisite. GMAT (NUS Code: 0677) Good Analytical Writing Assessment, Verbal, Quantitative and Total scores for the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) are required. The following Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) cutoffs: AWA 3.5 Verbal 28 Quantitative 37 Total 620 TOEFL Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is required if the medium of instruction during the undergraduate studies was not in English. The minimum acceptable TOEFL score is 260 (CAT) or 620 (paper). International English Language Testing System (IELTS) may also be accepted and the minimum acceptable overall band score is 6.5. Interview / Written Test Shortlisted applicants may be required to take further evaluation tests and/or attend an interview. ADB scholars may participate in student exchange program with partner universities outside Singapore. ADB scholars are expected to return, within three months after graduation, and stay in their home countries for a period double that of their program duration. Each scholarship will provide for the following: Monthly stipend of S$1,350 Tuition, health insurance, examination fees and other approved fees, allowances and expenses Book Allowance of S$250 per regular semester Cost of travel from home country to Singapore on award of the scholarship Cost of travel from Singapore to home country on successful completion of the program 2. NUS Graduate Scholarships for ASEAN Nationals This scholarship is awarded annually to citizens or permanent residents of a member country of ASEAN. Up to eight scholarships are available for award annually to full-time students in all course-based programs for the full duration of the respective programs. AGS scholars are not allowed to participate in students exchange program with partner universities outside Singapore. There is no bond or obligation for the scholar to be employed by NUS or in Singapore. The scholar is, therefore, expected to complete the designated graduate degree and return to the home country. Each scholarship will provide for the following: Monthly stipend of S$1,350 Tuition, health insurance, examination fees and other approved fees, allowances and expenses Book Allowance of S$250 per regular semester Cost of travel from home country to Singapore on award of the scholarship Cost of travel from Singapore to home country on successful completion of the program. Applicants to ASEAN Graduate Scholarships do not need *****bmit TOEFL or IELTS (International English Language Testing System) scores, but are expected to have acceptable verbal and AWA scores for their GMAT tests. 3. NUS-APEC Scholarship One APEC Scholarship, co-funded by APEC Education Foundation grant and the Singapore Ministry of Education, is awarded annually to candidates from APEC member economies who are admitted to a full-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) at NUS. Monthly stipend of S$1,300 Tuition, health insurance, program application fee and other approved fees, allowances and expenses One time Book Allowance of S$500 One time settling in allowance of S$500 Cost of travel from home country to Singapore on award of the scholarship Cost of student exchange participation, up to S$6,000 Cost of travel from Singapore to home country on successful completion of the program. 4. Keppel International Scholarships - Vietnam Launched in 2003, the Keppel International Scholarships offer outstanding young Vietnamese managers an excellent opportunity to pursue the NUS MBA program and an enriching career with a global conglomerate. Applicants must be successfully admitted to the NUS MBA Program. Upon the successful completion of the course, scholars will be required to serve a 2-year bond with a Keppel company. NUS Business School Award for ASEAN MBA Students The NUS Business School Award for ASEAN MBA Students is established to help defray the cost of an NUS MBA for meritorious applicants. The awards available for the 2005 intake are: , Up to 4 awards at $30,000 each to students from Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam , Up to 4 awards at $15,000 each to students from Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines and Thailand , Up to 2 awards at $10,000 each to students from Brunei and Singapore The awards will only be given if there are qualified candidates to enrich the diversity of the NUS MBA cohort. Q3. What is the acceptable score for GMAT? There is no cut of score for GMAT. All aspects of the application are considered. For example, an excellent work experience can make up for a lower GMAT and vice-versa. Therefore each application is considered in totality. Q4. Can TOEFL or GRE be a substitute for GMAT? No. Q5.Can NUS accept IELTS or GRE as a substitute for TOEFL? We accept IELTS as a substitute for TOEFL. The minimum Band score is 6.5 However, GRE will not be a substitute for TOEFL. Q6. Will you consider me if I have a professional qualification only (e.g. ACCA)? Why? Full-time Program, minimum is 16 months. Part-time Program, minimum is 28 months. Q11. What is the maximum period of candidature of your MBA program? The maximum periods of candidature for full-time and part-time candidates are four years and six years respectively, inclusive of approved medical leave and leave of absence. Q12. What are the class timings and schedules? Students of both full-time and part-time MBA programs attend classes on campus. Full-time Students - Day Sessions: 9.00 am to 12.00 noon, 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm. Part-time Students - Evening Sessions: 6.00 pm to 9.00 pm. Q13. Do MBA students have opportunity to join the exchange program? Yes, if they satisfy the prerequisites. For nationals of countries (such as China, India, Vietnam, Bangladesh and Myanmar) requiring visas for entry to Singapore, the Business School will apply for the in-principle student pass approval on your behalf. Can I get sponsorship for my spouse or children? NUS does not offer sponsorship of spouses or children of students. Are there any restrictions on this? Yes, but only after the first semester. International full-time students are also restricted to working a maximum of 16 hours per week during the regular semesters. This ICA restriction is not applicable during vacation breaks. Can I apply for a scholarship? International applicants intending to take up full-time study may apply for scholarships when applying to the MBA program. If financial aid is needed and I am not awarded a scholarship, is there any loan available? The Tuition Fee Loan will no longer be available for students from 2005. International students are encouraged to source for loans from your home country to minimise costs. However some banks in Singapore do provide loans for Singapore nationals or Singapore permanent residents. Application forms can be obtained from the school after admission has been granted. Không biết có phải mỗi khoa áp dụng một chính sách khác nhau hay không? hay đây là chính sách chung của bộ giáo dục Sin?
Bạn thân mến, Theo mình nghĩ là tuỳ thuộc vào từng chương trình học sau đại học mà Loan có áp dụng hay không? Với Master Engineering thì ngon lành cành đào.. Nhưng với MBA thì khá khó... Lạ nhỉ! Chỉ vì câu "The Tuition Fee Loan will no longer be available for students from 2005" mà mình lo nẫu ruột, nhưng đọc đường link bạn cho thì mọi việc vẫn trong tầm kiểm soát . Mà tại sao MBA thì khó xin cai TFL này hả bạn?
MBA cái gì cũng khó xin - từ admission, học bổng đến cho vay.. Thực ra mình 2 năm vừa rồi chỉ có 3 người VN qua học MBA ở NUS thì cả 3 đều có học bổng. ( 2004 intake thì 3, 2005 intake thì ko có người VN). Còn việc cho vay thì bạn có thể email trực tiếp để hỏi được nhé. Dân Sing willing trả lời lắm, đừng ngại..

Tớ không phải ở Sin nhưng có đọc qua đoạn này nên trả lời được ko? Theo tớ biết thì tuỳ khoa bạn ạ, nhưng cơ bản là một năm có từ 1-2 intake, vào tháng 1 & tháng 8. Hạn chót để nộp hồ sơ là trước 3 tháng kể từ ngày nhập học. Có nghĩa là, nếu bạn định học vào tháng 8, thì cuối tháng 5 là hạn chót nộp hồ sơ. @owlmain: cảm ơn bạn nhiều lắm. Tớ còn lăn tăn một tí này. Civil Engineering hình như chỉ NUS có thôi hả bạn? Tớ tìm đỏ con mắt bên NTU mà kô có. Với lại, trong cùng một thời điểm mình apply cho 2 khoa khác nhau của cùng một trường được ko nhỉ? Nếu khoa này rớt thì hy vọng khoa kia?
