Members and MODs

Tuyển xong MOD chưa vậy britneybritney, một công việc khó khắn nhỉ .
Thực ra anh thấy em nên nói qua một chút về công việc của MOD cho mọi người biết y. Chắc nhiều người cũng rất có nhiệt huyết và muốn làm đó nhưng mà kô hiểu là có làm được không ấy.
Kế ra nếu như Sil nhận làm MOD thì tuyệt quá nhỉ, em thử thuyết phục xem

Back to the topic, Iâ?Tll let you know a thing or two about a moderatorâ?Ts work. Well, itâ?Ts both a pretty easy and demanding work, I have to say. First of all, you have to spend a lot of time surfing the Internet EVERYDAY to find information, to move posts to right topics and to delete lots of spams. The thing I hate most when I come to see most boxes on TTVN is that they all look like a mess, a bunch of topics with exactly the same content, hence a person who is strict enough to emphatically delete spams is what I''m craving for On the other hand, when the box tends to go down, you need to come up with some interesting ideas to liven it up. That''s what a moderator has to do, pretty easy yet it might well harmfully influence your study for lack of time or simply you won''t be able to join in social activities as much as before.
Sil, oh I tremendously admire her she''s sweet, enthusiastic and has a genius for English. Having her as a moderator is just so wonderful, however, she seems to be quite busy at the moment preparing for the coming university exam Well, on no account would I let online stuff lure her away from studying, so... let''s wait until she''s done with that thingy Remember to contact me then, Sil
@nktvnvn is another person I like very much , he proves to have a broad knowledge of English and has spend much time with our club recently , yet I wonder if he pays any attention to this topic NKT, if you happen to read these lines, plz let me know what you think.

It seems to me that brit sets rather high requirements on the post of EC Mod. In my opinion, the most imp. criterion is being dedicated to the work of a Mod, i.e. s/he should be interested in and spend rather good amount of time on handling posts, finding good sources for members, etc.
Then, an execellent English competency should not be a must because club members go here to learn Eng , not to see how Mod''s Eng is expressed. And 1 thing to note: none can agree on how excellent it is is enough !!! So, to my mind, one who can determine to which topic a new post should belong is qualified enough.
I back brit on that "when the box tends to go down, you need to come up with some interesting ideas to liven it up". So, the Mod should have a creative mind and be a dynamic person. But that''s not so imp ''coz if s/he is (or sometimes feels) not creative and dynamic enough, s/he can ask a certain member who really is to perform that job. I wont think that the person will refuse to help.
Lastly, I dont know how many Mods TTVN limits on but why dont u empower the max. number of Mods ? By doing that, the load of work will be shared and amount of online time will not be a serious problem.
Maybe I''m wrong but I think u, to a certain extent, r not sure abt the quality of the services the new Mods perform n afraid that the club will not be as good as now. Trust me, u should not worry '' coz I can say 4 sure that every1 wants to contribute to the club and strives 4 an actual development. And if there is a certain mistake on deciding the mod, members will help to correct it (i think there r many ways to do, dont worry).

Being a mod is really busy and of course not easy, but I think you shouldn''t hesitate if you have interest in it. Everything starts in hardness, but surely gets better as time goes by. Good luck!

Em Brit thân mến, mình rất cám ơn về offer của Brit, nhưng mình và rất rất nhiều thành viên EC nhận thấy ngoài Brit ra không còn ai có đủ khả năng làm Mod để phát triển EC ngày một tốt hơn, phong phú hơn, hữu ích hơn như hiện nay.
Mình biết mình chỉ có chút tí tẹo tèo teo cái gọi là English, không đủ để làm mod. Mình chỉ giúp Brit góp phần phát triển EC thông qua các bài viết của mình thôi. Đó là hai điểm còn lại mình có dư: nhiệt tình và vô biên thời gian để online.
Ngoài ra làm Mod nhiều khi thực sự không khoái lắm, có nhiều vấn đề vì làm mod mà không thể nói được, nói một câu phải suy nghĩ một câu, viết một câu phải suy nghĩ một câu, nếu không sẽ bị nhiều người "...." lắm . hì hì
Mình chỉ xin làm một member bình thường của EC thôi để được phát ngôn nó thoải mái hơn.

Mình nghĩ mình đủ cả ba tiêu chuẩn trên. ONLINE ngày tối thiểu là 4h, là người rất nhiệt tình và có trách nhiệm với công việc được giao.
