THE FACE IN THE MIRROR
The play now on at the New Theatre as part of the Easter Arts Festival is not among the best plays for which the director,Amy Fielding,has been responsible.
The action takes place in the home of Professor Spear.One night his landlady comes to the house for a chat.After inviting her in,the professor hears a sound and,thinking it is a burglar coming to rob the house,fires his gun.By mistake,the wrong person is shot and the thief gets away.
The scence of the second act is a law court,in which everyone waits to find out if the professor is guilty of murder.
I did not care for the acting in some cases.Norman Jones is normally seen in comedy and is not satisfactory as the professor.He does not look like a wise old man.Also,Simon Fry,as the servant,shouted at the top of his voice all through the play.The hit of the evening,however,is James Smith as the judge.
On the whole,the play appeared to me to be a little out of date.I can think of many other plays which would have been more suitable for a group of clever young actors to perform.

Hi hi, lần trước nài nỉ ỉ ôi chị cho em học luôn lớp Basic vì trình tiếng anh của em dở không thể hiểu nổi, thấy chị đồng ý nên tưởng nhầm là khỏi test luôn. Khổ thế đấy!

Oài, Chị gặp chiện gì hem vui vậy? sao em vẫn thấy Chị cười phớ lớ trên lớp mà, chắc cái chỗ xả stress kia phải effective lắm nhỉ, chỉ cho em đi. Mà chuyện em chưa nhờ chị đã nói em rào trước đón sau, làm em ngại quá....hic, mà thui đành phải nhờ. Em định hỏi chị cách "chinh phục người đẹp" ý mà. Đầu đuôi câu chuyện như sau .............. àh mà chị giúp nhé, chị có giúp thì em mới dám kể, nếu không mọi người trong lớp cười em thúi mũi.
Mà cái em Linhkiz có chữ kí ác nhể, lại đi azua a@ với em floweremperor hàng chuối, em pinklips hàng..khủng Thăng Long một thời, em....gì gì chẳng nhớ...Nghe thiên hạ đồn đại rùi nghi oan cho người ta thì phải tội lém.
