Mil Mi-28 HAVOC
The Mil Mi-28 Havoc is a new-generation attack helicopter that functions as an air-to-air and air-to-ground partner for the Mi-24 Hind and Ka-50 Hokum. The five-blade main rotor is mounted above the body midsection. The deployment (weapon-carrying) wings are mounted to the mid-rear of body midsection for balancing ruffly 4,000 lbs of weapons or payloads total on each wing. Two turbo shaft engines in armored pods are mounted alongside the top of the fuselage with down turned exhausts sending its heat signature to the ground. The fuselage is slender and tapers to the tail boom and nose. It features a tandem, stepped-up ****pits and a 30 mm cannon mounted beneath the belly, with fixed hydraulic landing gear. The tapering tail boom with a swept-back vertical stabilizer has a flat high-mounted spoiler and a rotor mounted on its right.
The Mi-28N and Kamov Ka-50 are competing to fulfil the Russian Army Aviation requirement for a night-capable anti-tank helicopter, a replacement to the Mi-24 created 25 years ago. The Mi-28N is based on the Mi-28A, a daylight helicopter first flown in December 1982. In comparison with the AH-64D Longbow Apache, the 10,5-ton Mi-28N is some 2.5 tons heavier, partly due to its more powerful cannon. In general the two helicopters have similar flight performance. Two Klimov TV-3-117 engines of 2,200 hp each allow the Russian aircraft to show a maximum level speed of 300 km/h and maximum climb at sea-level of 13.6 meters per second.

"[8 Dec 2000] Russia will soon begin state tests of the new generation Mi-28N Havoc combat helicopter. The new helicopter was designed and produced by Moscow-based Mil helicopter plant. Mi-28N is derivative of the legendary Mi-28 helicopter gunship, which was launched into production in the early 70s. The new chopper, nicknamed ``Night Havoc`` was equipped with the fifth generation on-board equipment, which allow H24 all weather operations.
Mi-28N is considered Russia's response to US Apache-Longbow. According to sources in Mil plant, the Russian helicopter outperforms the U.S. counterpart on a number of operational characteristics. The Mi-28N made its maiden flight on November 14, 1996. The RF Defence Ministry will recommend it as the new combat helicopter for the Russian Armed Forces."

Mi-28 Havoc
A two-seat attack helicopter, smaller than the Mi-24 and better optimized for the anti-tank role. The Mi-28 has two heavily armored ****pits, a remarkable nose full with electronic equipment, and a narrow-X tail rotor. The competing Ka-50 seems to have been selected by the Russian forces.
Recent situation - Mi-28 is going to be manufactured, but as an advanced complement for Ka-50 : night operation, mission leader etc., where role of operator became more crucial.

Mil Mi-28
Havoc
Designed during the 70s to replace the Mi-24 Hind as the main attack helicopter of the Red Army , the Mi-28 can fly at a maximum speed of 300 km/h, can fly rearwards and sideways at speeds up to 100 km/h and is able to hover turn at 45 degrees per second.
In August 1996 Mil rolled out a prototype of the day and night capable version, the Mi-28N Night Havoc

The helicopter design is based on the conventional pod and boom configuration with a tail rotor. The pilot and the navigator/systems officer are accommodated in two separate ****pits in tandem configuration under individual canopies. The fuselage of the Mi-28 has a bay fitted with a hatch door. The helicopter has non-retractable tricycle tailwheel type landing gear.
The energy absorbing landing gear and seats protect the crew in a crash landing or in a low-altitude vertical fall. The crew are able *****rvive a vertical fall up to 12 metres per second.

The Mi-28A helicopter is powered by two TV3-117VMA turboshaft engines, fitted on either side of the fuselage. It is equipped with an auxiliary power unit for self- contained operation. The thermal signature of the helicopter has been reduced by a factor of 2.5x compared to its predecessor, the Mi-24.
The main rotor head of the Mi-28 has elastomeric bearings and the main rotor blades are made from composite materials. The tail rotor is designed on a biplane configuration with independently controlled X-shaped blades. The turnable stabilizer is fitted asymmetrically on the end of a tailboom. In real combat missions the single rotor design allows the helicopter to continue flight and land with damaged main rotor blades or damaged anti-torque blades in the majority of cases. A new design of rotor blade, all plastic with swept shaped tips has been installed on the Night Havoc Mi-28N helicopter. The new blades can sustain hits from 30 mm shells.

The crew have two compartments separated with armoured partitioning, the pilot seated in the higher rear compartment and the navigator/systems officer in the front compartment..The Mi-28 has a fully armoured cabin including the windshield which withstands impact by 7.62 and 12.7 mm bullets and 20 mm shell fragments.

Và bây giờ là đến anh bạn MI28 Havoc kẻ đứng ngang hàng với Apache về hoả lực nhưng chỉ nặng có 11 tấn với 1.6 tấn đạn 30mm hoả tiển chống tank AT6 và Rocket các loại
Ngoài ra còn có cả hoả tiển đối không nhưng như là Apache nó chỉ dùng để tự vệ hơn là chủ động đi đánh máy bay địch
Havoc có 2 động cơ phản lực mổi cái 2200 mả lực giúp nó bay với vận tốc tối đa 280Km/h và bay tuần tra với 240Km/h (chậm hơn Apache) Dài 21.18 m (cả cánh đuôi) cao 3.8m nó gọn nhẹ hơn Apache và khả năng chiến đấu trong địa hình hạn hẹp của nó là không thể phủ nhận .

Cái cục đen đen lòi ra như là 1 cái lổ mủi của nó là 1 cái lổ mủi thực sự dùng để đánh hơi định thủ và dẩn nó tránh chướng ngại vật trong mọi điêu kiện thời tiết .Nó và KA50 có thể cất cánh và hoàn thành nhiệm vụ trong điều kiện có gió bảo cấp 6 và mưa lớn nơi mà Apache quá nặng gặp nhiều rắc rối và Commanche thì củng chăng thuận lợi gì khi mà bay sát đất tránh radar mà cứ bị gío đập dể va vào chướng ngại vật do nó quá nhẹ và độn cơ không đủ mạnh .Tuy nhiên theo chuyên gia thì khả năng hoạt động trong thời tiết xấu của Commanche vẩn tốt nhờ mưa gió bảo bùng càng làm nó khó bị phát hiện nên không cần phải bay quá thấp tuy nhiên sẻ gặp khó khăn khi gặp địch do khả năng vận động trong bảo kém.
Và nó là kẻ mà các lính lái Tank ít muốn gặp nhất vì hoả lực 12.7mm và 20mm chỉ giả ngứa cho nó và mấy trái AT6 của nó không phải là cọp giấy và đám Rocket công phá thì không phải để chơi cho vui .Khi nó bay đến gần 1 căn cứ quân sự xả hết vào thì quả là ác mộng cho bộ binh dù alf có nấp trong công sự .
Vẩn được trang bị các loại hoả lực 30mm thông thường nó có khả năng truy sát các loại tank hạng nhẹ hay máy bay từ tầm 8Km khi không còn hoả tiển phòng không và dù là chống được pháo 20mm và 12.7m nhưng với 30mm thì Apache và Commanche vẩn rơi như sung ,1 khi bị tập kịch bất ngờ bằng pháo 30mm các loại máy bay kia sẻ chao đảo mất thăng bằng và MI28 cứ xả đạn cho đến khi đối phương chỉ là 1 đống sắt lơ lửng giửa trời .Tuy nhiên về khả năng lẩn tránh thì nó không hơn Commanche nhưng đối kháng hồng ngoại ,lọc khí thải thì hơn hẳn Apache nhưng giá thành chỉ khoảng 1/3-1/4 Nhưng cả Commanche củng khó mà thoát khỏi hệ thống Radar hiện đại của nó.1 Khi lộ diện thì hệ thống dẩn đường cho tên lửa này không tha cho em nào cả .
