Hi, I by chance heard "Mon amie la rose" (in French) of Natacha when a guy in the same room turned it on in showing me an example of blue song. I imediately realised how impressive and fascinating it was. The combination of melancholic melody with Arabian rhythm made it special and myself sat down hours to listen back and forth. Though it is a sad song but still brings back a good feeling to listeners. Did any of you ever listen to that and those of Natacha Atlas? I would appreciate much if you could let me know any other similar songs in the same style. Maybe, we can share with each other.
