Em có đứa bạn mới thi IELTS được 7,5 điểm.Nó muốn năm sau học thạc sĩ về kinh tế ở một nước nào đó, chắc là không phải Anh vì chi phí đắt quá.Cho em hỏi nếu được điểm như vậy liệu có xin được học bổng không,và nên chọn trường nào,cho em biết các thủ tục luôn ạ.Em cám ơn

7.5 cũng không có nghĩa là xin học bổng dễ đâu bạn ạ. Tiếng ANh chỉ giống như môn đk thôi, cái quyết định nhất vẫn là điểm học và cái thư xin học của bạn kìa.

International Applicants
HBS welcomes applications from around the globe. The admissions criteria applied in evaluating international applicants are the same as those for U.S. citizens. All application materials, including transcripts and recommendations, must be submitted online and in English.
Academic Requirements
An international applicant is required to hold a college or university degree equivalent to a four-year American baccalaureate degree. All post-secondary educational institutions you have attended and received a degree from, including technical and professional schools, should be listed on the application form. The complete, formal names of the institutions and the title of any diploma or degree earned must be used.
Transcripts
When self-reporting transcripts for the application, all courses must be translated into English before submission. If admitted to Harvard Business School, you will be required to provide an official paper transcript sent directly from each college or university attended to World Education Services (WES), a third-party verification agency. If available, your school should send a transcript in English along with the original language document. The School reserves the right to withdraw any offer of admission if there is a discrepancy between the self-reported transcript and the official transcript.
TOEFL/TWE and IELTS
Due to of the participatory nature of the MBA Program, students must possess a highly developed proficiency in written and oral English.
Candidates who received their bachelor''s degree from an English-speaking university are not required *****bmit these tests (i.e., they are exempt).
Candidates who received their bachelor''s degree from a non-English-speaking university are required to take either the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and/or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
Candidates who received a master''s or Ph.D. degree from an English-speaking university are strongly encouraged *****bmit the TOEFL and/or IELTS.
Scores from tests taken before January 1, 2005 will not be accepted.
The MBA Admissions Board discourages any candidate with a TOEFL score lower than 267 from applying.
Those candidates required to take the TOEFL or IELTS must have received at least their unofficial scores prior *****bmitting their application. Both overall and component test scores must be reported on the application form.
All applicants must request that ETS (for the TOEFL) and/or IELTS send official copies of their scores to HBS. The Harvard Business School ETS code number is 3444
Financial aid for MBA student at Harvard
All students who are admitted to the Harvard Business School MBA Program are guaranteed access to financing to cover the entire standard student budget.
The MBA Program is need-blind in its candidate selection process. This means we have no knowledge of a candidate''s financial situation when they apply for admission. Once admitted, students then apply for financial aid. Although students are encouraged to draw on personal resources wherever possible to minimize debt, approximately three quarters of HBS students receive some assistance.
Upon admission, all students will have access to the Harvard Business School Intranet site containing financial aid applications and instructions. After you submit an application for aid, the Financial Aid and Fellowship Board will review your eligibility for loans and fellowships for the first year.
Please note that financial aid awards are not automatically renewable for the following year; students must reapply for aid prior to the second year of the program.
Financial aid is awarded to students based on the cost of the program and their ability to contribute. A student''s expected contribution is based on his or her available resources, which include savings, investments (stocks, bonds, annuities, and employee benefit plans), IRA accounts, trust funds, after-tax earnings for the student and his/her spouse, G.I. or Social Security benefits, home equity and other real estate equity, outside grants and loans, and parental/family contributions. Given the rigorous pace and range of educational activities of our program, students should not plan to be employed during the academic terms.
