On July 5 , Saigon English Club Mods and Organizers had a meeting at Giai Dieu Xanh cafe to discuss about our Club''''''''''''''''s activities in detail. Also, the attendance of TTVNonline Southern Admin Votrungh and Bjorn, the foreign presenter of 3rd English Speaking CLub , contributed a lot for the success of this meeting.

We discussed about 3 main issues :
1. Tasks of Mods and Organizers.
2. Member-fee
3. Topic for 3rd English Speaking CLub

MEMBER-FEE :

Để cho SEC hoạt động có tổ chức hơn và cũng để có 1 số lượng thành viên ổn định , chúng tôi quyết định thành lập SEC fund thông qua việc thu member-fee hàng tháng.
Khi tham gia SEC, nếu bạn đăng ký trong topic : IF YOU WANT TO BE SG ENGLISH CLUB MEMBER " , bạn sẽ được set title " Member of SG English CLub " , và bạn đã trở thành thành viên online của SEC.

Khi muốn trở thành thành viên chính thức ( online và offline), bạn vui lòng đăng ký danh sách trong topic " DANH SÁCH THÀNH VIÊN CHÍNH THỨC CỦA SEC " và đóng lệ phí 10.000/ tháng . Khi đó bạn sẽ trở thành " SEC friendly member "

THE 2nd COMMUNIQUÉ:
I'm so sorry to inform you that the English Speaking Club which was arranged to be held on July 20 must be delayed. The main reason is our co-operation with the ESC of school of Industrial Management ( Polytechnic Uni) is broken 'cause the leader of that Club is no longer interested in this and his ESC has to be closed . I'm trying to find a new partner and I'm nearly successful. At present , I have two choices to co-operate. I will inform you soon about my decision.
Hope that our English Speaking CLub will be re-opened and be stable in the near future.

THE 3rd COMMUNIQUÉ :
Hiện nay Saigon English CLub không còn tổ chức CLB tiếng Anh hằng tháng với ĐH Bách Khoa nữa . Thay vào đó , chúng ta sẽ sinh hoạt tại CLB Tiếng Anh trường Đào tạo Việt Mỹ. CLB tiếng Anh của trường đào tạo Việt Mỹ được tổ chức rất hay và chất lượng cao : phần đầu là cho mọi người discuss theo nhóm với sự hướng dẫn của Dicussion Guides, phần 2 là giảng viên người nước ngoài của trường sẽ trình bày về topic , phần cuối cùng là âm nhạc với sự tham gia của các Guitarist và Violist.
Lý do thay đổi " đối tác" là vì CLB tiếng Anh trường BK (khoa quản lý công nghiệp ) đã chấm dứt hoạt động. Và cũng vì Dirosemimi hiện đang tham gia ban chủ nhiệm CLB tiếng Anh trường đào tạo Việt Mỹ. Thật sự Di muốn SEC tổ chức English Speaking Club riêng, nhưng chắc phải đợi 1 thời gian nữa khi số lượng thành viên SEC tăng lên nhiều hơn , và có nhiều bạn tham gia vào ban tổ chức hơn , vì công việc thì rất nhiều và đòi hỏi phải tốn rất nhiều thời gian .

Each day, our lives present us new obstacles and decisions that affect the direction of our path. You will be better prepared for those obstacles if you know how to identify them and deal with them. A good way to remember the events of your daily life is to record them in a diary so that you can go over the experiences you had in the day, acknowledge them , and learn from them. In this way, you can identify different aspects of the day and improve upon them so that you can learn from your mistakes. Thus, your next day will be better spent and your time will be utilized more efficiently, helping you to get the best from your life....

People today are less polite than they used to be . This is the view of Dr Andrew St George of Oxford Uni , who has just completed a book on social behavior. He believes that manners have deteriorated since Victorian times. For example, people these days eat while they are walking down the street . They kiss and embrace in public. They push on to buses and trains. Men don't open doors for women anymore or offer a woman their seat on a crowded train . The Victorians , Dr St George says, would be horrified at modern behavior. We went out on the street to think what people think abt his idea.......

In the past , parents and teachers used to make the best of their efforts to provide an atmosphere to their children, which is congenial to the development of higher virtues and morals ? But the gross social change over the last fifty years , large scale urbanization , ruthless competition for financial gains, and heavy preoccupation in everyday life deplete all time and energy from the parents , leaving behind little time or energy for their children . As a result , the younger generation hardly gets any opportunity to share ideas with their elders or to enter into a meaningful discussion . õ?Ư.Obviously, the moral and religious training of the child has gradually been ousted from the preview of education . õ?Ư
Parents and teachers have to play a cardinal role in the building up of the character of the next generation .The teacherõ?Ts role is particularly important and has been compared with that of the prophets. Every prophet is essentially a teacherõ?Ư.
No other personality can have an influence more profound than that of a teacher. Students are deeply affected by the teacherõ?Ts love and affection, his character , his competence, and his moral commitmentõ?Ư.
Therefore , while selecting teachers, it must be born in mind that , in ad***ion to their professional competence , he should know the art of teaching with a deep insight into child psychology. He should always deal with the students in a just mannerõ?Ư..

Maintaining a long distance romance can be tough, but with communicaion technology allows us to share ideas instantly across wide spaces, and the Internet is becoming an accepted way to meet people with similar passions. But when we're involved with someone who lives many miles away , we're still faced with the very real distance between ourselves and the object of our affections.
I , like you , truly believe that relationships are what make your life special , and that one built on love and understanding is always worth preserving , regardless of the miles that may separate the two people. ......
