    Green To Arsenal?[/size=4]
    By Ricky Bilverstone
    Date: 15/6/2004
Reports in today''s Daily Mirror suggest that Premiership champions Arsenal are on the verge of signing Canaries keeper Robert Green.
Its no secret that Wenger has been interested in the young shot-stopper for some time and sees him as a certainty to go on and play for England so who better to replace the unpredictable Jens Lehmann?
Ê4m figure has been suggested by the paper who also indicated that it could rise depending on how well Green and Arsenal do in the future.
City already have a ready made replacement in the form of Scotland''s number one, and Ê4m is a lot to anyone in this day and age but especially Norwich - and it looks as though the deal is almost there after David Bentley joined on loan for a season as part of the package.

    Curbs keeps cool on Kanu
    10:59am 15th June 2004
Alan Curbishley has played down talk of former Arsenal striker Kanu joining Charlton.
The Nigerian has been released by the Premiership champions and there had been suggestions he could make the short trip across the capital to join the Addicks.
However, Curbishley claims he is not interested - although he has revealed he has signed two new players whose identities will not be revealed until they officially move to The Valley on July 1.
    Kanu available
"Kanu''s available and we all know a lot about him but there''s nothing in that at the moment," the Charlton boss told the club''s website, www.cafc.co.uk.
"But we''ve been linked with lots of players and that''s the way it is at the moment.
"I want to bring another two to three players in for sure. We know who they are, it''s just a question of trying to get it done before the window closes.
"We''ve signed three players already, one you know about - the Danish number two goalkeeper Stephan Andersen - and we''ve signed two others that can''t be announced until July 1.
"There aren''t too many clubs with substantial funds to spend in the transfer market so we''re in a good position.
"It''s very quiet at the moment, but once Euro 2004 is out of the way I think it will pick up."
