Roy Keane and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer have withdrawn from their international squads due to injury.

Ole was due in Tunisia to play for Norway, but Ronny Johnsen will be United's only representative in that friendly match after the ankle injury Solskjaer suffered during the Boavista game rules him out.

Keano had been set to captain Mick McCarthy's Republic against Denmark, but the knock that prevented him from facing Boavista means he won't be travelling. John O'Shea is in the Under-21 squad though.

It has not yet been confirmed whether Ruud van Nistelrooy and Juan Veron's injuries will see them drop out of the Dutch and Argentinian parties to face Spain and Switzerland next week.

Ryan Giggs is in the Wales squad to take on Czech Republic, however, and Sven Goran Eriksson is expected to name the usual United stars in his party to take on Italy on 27 March. Meanwhile, Fabien Barthez and Mikael Silvestre are in Roger Lemerre's France squad for next Wednesday's friendly against Scotland.
