I don't quite understand this quote. "Filling what's empty" sounds right. "Scratching where it itches" seems reasonable. But why did he suggest "emptying what's full"
Did he mean when we already have something full, we need to empty it so that we yearn for it again. And again, try to fill it, then empty, then fill...... . How complicated!

I think you're right, 6sense. That's also what I think, maybe when he'd already got sth, he soon became bored with it and looking for new things was great fun. You have it, you lose it and then you have it again, câ?Test lavie. Anyway, I don't really like this quotation, we should treasure what we have you know, keeping them is not an easy task as we never know what we've got until we lose it.
As we go on, we remember all the times we had together
As our lives change, come whatever
We will still be FRIENDS FOREVER

    Some quotation on friendship:
Friendship is the golden thread that ties all hearts together
    --Unknown
A simple friend thinks the friendship over when you have an argument. A real friend knows that it's not a friendship until after you've had a fight
    --Unknown
(Oh itâ?Ts absolutely correct. Not until we have arguments with friends do we understand them deeply, right?)
A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out. Friendship is one mind in two bodies.
    --Mencius
Life without friendship is like the sky without sun.
    --Anonymous
    True friendship is never serene.
    --Marquise de Sevigne
(I donâ?Tt quite understand this quotation. Anyone explain it to me?)
As we go on, we remember all the times we had together
As our lives change, come whatever
We will still be FRIENDS FOREVER

Hey, bé Britney, "serene" means untroubled, or calm. So I think this quote means somewhat like the one above. "A real friend knows that it's not a friendship until after you've had a fight."
So if we fight with friends, and after that, still treasure the friendship, we can be sure that we've found true friends.

Everyone has a dark side !
    PinkFloyd
    ______________________________________________
Have you ever known about a DARK SIDE before ?
let's think a bit of it
There's a kid who had a big hallucination
Making love to girls in magazines
He wonders if you're sleeping with your new found faith
    Could anybody love him
Or is it just a crazy dream
And if I show you my dark side
Will you still hold me tonight
And if I open my heart to you
And show you my weak side
    What would you do
Would you sell your story to rolling stone*
