Rockband Nickelback ​

Ban nhạc được thành lập vào năm 1996 (có vẻ khá xa so với thời điểm hiện tại trong thời kỳ vàng son nhạc Teen Pop với điể hình Britney Spears), tại Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada bởi anh em nhà Kroeger (Chad Kroeger 1974 vocal guitar / Mike Kroeger1972 chơi bass), người anh em họ Brandon (chơi trống) và Ryan Peake (1973 guitar vocal) Cũng vào năm đó, họ đã cho ra 1 vài tác phẩm đã giúp gây dựng tiếng tăm ban đầu trên các đài phát thanh và tour diễn khắp Bắc Mỹ.

Ban đầu chủ yếu họat động độc lập dưới tên riêng của nhóm. Trước đó để ổn định đội hình đi vào họat động như ngày hôm nay, thì ban nhạc cũng đã có nhiều sự thay đổi ở vị trí tay trống, cuối cùng nó thuộc về 1 người bạn cũ của Peake - Ryan Vikedal (1975).
Thời gian sau, quan trọng là có sự giúp đỡ và cộng tác của hãng nổi tiếng EMI Canada và heavy metal Roadrunner Records USA mà tên tuổi Nickelback dần định hình qua 2 tracks "Breathe" và"Leader Of Men", đột phá giành Top 10 trên Rock Chart Mainstream. Và rồi "How you remind me" - 2001"s Silver Side Up bước đầu có mặt trong American Rock Radio, chẳng những vậy chỉ 1 thời gian ngắn sau đó Album đã leo lên tận vị trí thứ 2 Chart US Album - 1 bảng xếp hạng ko dễ dàng gì mà lọt vào được.
"How You Remind Me? ca khúc trong phim Spiderman đã làm nên thành công cùng với 4 giải đề cử Grammy, 4 Billboard Award, 4 Juno Awards Và trên khắp TG từ Mỹ Canada đến Châu Âu như Đức, Hà Lan và vượt xa đến nửa vòng trái đất tại Úc số lượng dĩa được tiêu thụ đã nâng bảng thành tích từ CD vàng đến bạch kim, ko ngờ chỉ trong vòng tháng 9 năm 2001 doanh thu bán ra đã lên đến 9 triệu CD. Còn trên các phương tiện truyền thanh Radio, ta đang nói đến 1 band nhạc Rock được nhiều thính giả bầu chọn nhất trong tất cả các chương trình.

Và đâu thể dừng bước được trước những thành công trên, Album The Long Road 2003 sắp phát hành với lời nhận định sẽ là đòn giáng mạnh ngạc nhiên đối với các Fan nhạc Rock. Còn bản thân thành viên Chad Kroeger "Chúng tôi rất tự hào về Album này. Chúng tôi đã làm những gì có thể và đa dạng về mọi phương diện" Những bản Rock điển hình trong Album này như "Someday" đến những đọan Guitar riff "Throw Yourself Away" hay "Do This Anymore" "Feelin'' Way Too Damn Good," thành viên chính Nickelback và cả nhóm ko những chỉ tạo nên những âm thanh toe-to-toe của từng cá nhân, mà giai điệu và lyrics sẽ đuợc chú ý nhiều hơn trước đây. Nội dung ko là nói về bản thân thành viên nào cả, mà là những kinh nghiệm và những gì mọi người học được trong cuộc sống.​

Brendan Fraser​

Brendan currently holds dual citizenship as an American and a Canadian. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, U.S.A., where his father was stationed as a foreign service officer for the Canadian Government Office of Tourism, on December 3, 1968. Because of his father''''s position, Brendan grew up all around including Holland, Switzerland, the U.S., and Canada. He went to school at the Upper Canada College in Toronto, Ontario, as well as the Cornish College of Arts in Seattle.
Brendan got his big break in the 1992 film Encino Man. Since then he''''s appeared in quite a few films; some as a goof (George of the Jungle, Airheads, Dudley Do-Right, and Monkeybone), some as a preppy-type (With Honours, and Mrs. Winterbourne), a few as a more serious type (The Quiet American and The Mummy) and some I''''ve never heard of (The Passion of Darkly Noon, The Scout, and The Proffesional Man).

Keanu Reeves​

Keanu was born in Beirut, Lebanon on September 2, 1964 to a British mother and a father of Hawaiian-Chinese decent. His name in Hawaiian means cool breeze over the mountains. When Keanu''s parents divorced he moved with his mother to New York where she met director Paul Aaron. They all moved to Toronto, and became Canadian citizens (which Keanu still is). Keanu has lived in Lebanon, Australia, New York, Toronto, and now California.
Keanu dropped out of school at 17 to pursue acting. Although Keanu had been acting professionally for several years already, the film Bill and Ted''s Excellent Adventure was where Keanu first really got noticed by the movie-going public. Keanu''s career since has had many ups and downs. He''s acted in several small cult-like films such as My Own Private Idaho, Little Buddha and Even Cowgirls Get the Blues a few others which didn''t do nearly as well in the box office as anticipated such as Johnny Mnemonic and had a few blockbusters as action-hero types in Speed and The Matrix. These days he''s on a big upswing with the follow-ups to The Matrix greatly-anticipated by many movie-goers.

Mike Myers​

Mike was born in Scarbourough, Ontario, in 1963. At some point he joined Second City in Toronto. He was a cast member on Saturday Night Live from 1989-1994, where he played many characters. Including: Linda Richman, Dieter from Sprockets, Angus in All Things Scottish, Pat Arnold of Bill Swerski''s Super Fans, Simon, Middle Age Man, and Wayne Campbell.
His character Wayne Campbell made a big splash in movie theatres across North America alongside Dana Carvey''s Garth in the film Wayne''s World, which Mike also co-wrote. His next big screen appearance was in the sequel, Wayne''s World 2, which he also co-wrote, but unfortunately was not as successful as the original.
Next is my favorite Myers film, So I Married An Axe Murderer. He not only played two characters in the film (Stuart and Charlie MacKenzie), he also co-wrote the script. This was a hilarious, fun film. A must see. Mike''s popularity with the Austin Powers films has exploded. He''s played multiple characters including Austin Powers, Dr. Evil, Fat Bastard and Goldmember. He wrote on and produced all three films. Mike Myers has also gotten a younger fan base with his role a the voice of Shrek in the animated film of the same name.

Carrie-Anne Moss​

People found out about Carrie-Anne Moss through her work as Trinity in the blockbuster film The Matrix alongside fellow Canadian Keanu Reeves. And her next film was Red Planet about the first manned mission to Mars, and most recently she had an integral role in the intriguing film Memento.
Carrie-Anne was born August 21, 1967 in Vancouver, B.C. At age 11 she joined the school theatre. She later launched her modeling career in Spain, but always wanted to be an actress. Her first leap to the small screen was in the television series Dark Justice, she later moved onto F/X The Series and Aaron Spelling''s Models Inc. She also earned herself a Gemini Award nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Guest Role for her portrayal of Irene Zuko in the episode "Juliet is Bleeding" on Due South (1996).

Alanis Morissette​

She was born June 1, 1974 in Ottawa, Ontario. Since Alanis was a kid, she liked singing, dancing, and acting. She started dance lessons at age 7, and at age 9 started writing songs "just for fun". When Alanis was 11 she was on the television show You Can''t Do That On Television.
Alanis was signed with MCA records fo her first serious album called Alanis released in 1991. It was a pop/dance style album. Her next album was released in 1992 and called Now Is The Time. After that album she was signed to Madonna''s Maverick label. She then came out with Jagged Little Pill. Alanis went back to her acting roots in Kevin Smith''s controversial film Dogma where she played the role of God.
Alanis lived in Ottawa until she was 18 (where she attended Glebe Collegiate), she then moved to Toronto for a year. She currently lives in Brentwood, California.

Marc Garneau​

Born February 23, 1949, in Quebec City, Quebec, Dr. Marc Garneau was the first Canadian to fly on NASA''s space shuttle. He accomplished this in October of 1984 on eight-day mission aboard Space Shuttle Challenger. During this mission Garneau and the rest of the crew orbited the earth 133 times. He returned to space in 1996 and 2000, with a grand total of 677 hours in space. After the launch of Space Shuttle Endeavour on November 30, 2000, Marc Garneau became the first Canadian to fly three missions in space. On February 1, 2001, Garneau was appointed Executive Vice-President of the Canadian Space Agency.
