    [PLEI ME, South Vietnam] His head bandaged, an exhausted U.S. 1st Cavalry trooper waits calmly and patiently for a medical evacuation helicopter here recently. He is one of the U.S.troopers ambushed and savagely mauled by North Vietnamese forces in the jungles of the Chu Pong Mountain range November 17th(1965).
