AD***IONAL DETAILS: This is an original press photo. Typhoon Strikes Indo-Chinese Coast: First picture to reach Paris showing the damages done by the Typhoon at Phan Thiet, 90 miles West of Saigon. A Senegalese Soldier is mounting guard in front of an Electric pole pulled down by the gare to prevent passers by from approaching it. Photo measures 8.5 x 6inches. Photo is dated 11-11-1952.

Typhoon causes Havoc when it strikes the Indo-Chinese coast: Havoc and destruction was wrought when a Typhoon hit the Indo-Chinese coast recently houses - telegraph poles etc. were wrecked and scattered.
