It is not accidental that people choose the Rose to talk about in this saying. The rose is considered the most beautiful flower and its thorns, that can?Tt help mentioning, are particularly sharp. A thorny rose said here implies a pretty girl was born gifted in a special personality that hurts one who intend to "pick" it. In order to get a "rose", there is no easy way except suffering from its sharp thorns. For this matter, it pays to be deep in painful (yet, hopefully, not like the bird in blackthorn as described in a famous novel!). The more scars a man gets with the thorns, the closer to his "rose" he might be. ( Evidently, these scars are far from those on ChiPheo?Ts face! )


So what should the "thorn" be?

Let?Ts examine the following samples. Do be advised that those are just the lightest cases compared with what our poor men have been struggling with.



You and she are in a hurry on the way of a business. Suddenly her eyes catch a skirt hanging in boutique. What you could do is to chime in "What a nice one, why don?Tt you try it right now? Dear, I bet it suits you very much". Then you mumble "what a thorn, my God"!



She loves pet and you love her. What a pity, you cannot stand the thought of even sitting next to a cat. After sometime, you find yourself to be friendly with such a hairy predator. Now to your best knowledge, a tiger is just a big colorful cat. And suffering from such hideous animal, we call it a "thorn"!



Her flat is flooded with hard-rock music all the day. You get rid of your favorite folk songs, wade in such a terrible noise just to be with her. It is, what we can say, a "thorn"!


How about a rose without thorns?

Men do hope so but it is far from the reality. Besides, the fact remains that a rose without thorns is hard to see in a cluster of flower, it apparently look like a lily, a daisy or any else but not a stunning rose to the men?Ts eyes any more. So let the rose be thorny as it ever be.



What will be, will be?

While waiting for the scientists discover a gene to exclude the thorn from rose, man still have to face with such a dull fact, with the hard-rock or symphony, with the tiger or cat, whatever comes but to be with his "roses". Like a paradox, poor man is still wounded by the very "thorn" of his "rose" not excepting he did know it?Ts very "thorny".


That we say "no thorn no rose".

You seem to know alot about roses and thorns.How many scars have you had?

Thanks for your question but I am afraid you are not right. I am just a full in love since I've never been in. Therefore I've got no scar at all.
And about you, just one sentence: " I do guess you are a girl, so if you are very thorny and very chilly as well it's an ocean of difficuties for those are not girl! Please chage your name !!"

Thanks for yout "thorny" text. Don't be worried about men who know how to pick up a rose without being hurt.
For instance, I always wear iron gloves to pick up a rose.
The simplest is the greatest

My writing is not thorny at all. It is, somwhat, sweet for those who are suffering from these "thorn".
For your case, tell me how the rose you picked was ? Can it be a rose any more or faded away.
Moreover, can you move your fingers while wearing that iron gloves ? Of course, you cannot. You got no scar and no rose either.

Em vừa rồi bận quá, không thể lên net được. Hôm nay lại mò vào đây thì bị bác "giã" cho túi bụi. Đúng thật! đòn bác ra rất nhiều thorns bác ạ.
Không biết bác là loại rose gì em không rõ. Chứ những roses mà em đã picked đấy á cứ nhìn thấy iron gloves là đã tự throw away all the thorns rồi bác ạ.

Bác cứ đùa dai thôi bác timidfox ạ. Nghe tên của bác em cũng đã phải chạy rẽ đất rồi còn gì nữa.
Bác ơi găng tay của em có nhiều loại lắm. Mỗi loại nó lại phù hợp với từng rose khác nhau. Nếu bác mà mis-use á thì nó sẽ có side effect đấy. Như thế thì có phải là "em làm phúc lên tội" không?
The best way is that please give your rose to me. I myself will process/ take all the thorns off the rose. Then return it to you. Thế mới là làm phúc chứ bác nhể .
