    The Beatles perform at the Kaiserkeller Club, Grosse Freiheit,
    Hamburg, West Germany.

    1961
    The Beatles perform at the ****rn Club, Liverpool - a lunchtime
    show.

    1962
    The Beatles perform at the Star-Club, Hamburg, West Germany.

    1963
    The Beatles, on a tour of Britain, perform two shows at the Odeon
    Cinema in Leeds.

    1965
    The Beatles in the recording studio (Studio Two, EMI Studios,
    London). The Beatles spend nine hours recording and completing
    Paul's ballad "Michelle".

    1967
    The filming for "Magical Mystery Tour" is completed. Shooting of
    inserts for George's "Blue Jay Way" sequence at Ringo's country
    house in Weybridge, Surrey (19 miles southwest of London). BBC
    television buys the rights to broadcast "Magical Mystery Tour"
    twice. The first broadcast, in black-and-white on BBC1, is
    scheduled for December 26, 1967. The second showing, on the color
    channel BBC2, not yet available to all Britons, is set for January
    5, 1968.

    A showing of John and Yoko films takes place at Nash House, London,
    under the collective title "Something Else".

    1980
    UK release of Beatles LP box set "The Beatles Box" (EMI World
    Records). An eight-album box set containing 126
    previously-released Beatles songs.

    UK release of posthumous John Lennon LP "Menlove Avenue"
    (Parlophone). Contains alternate takes and unreleased tracks.
    Songs: "Here We Go Again", "Angel Baby" (artificially lengthened),
    "My Baby Left Me", "To Know Her Is to Love Her", "Rock and Roll
    People", "Steel and Glass", "Scared", "Old Dirt Road", "Nobody
    Loves You (When You're Down and Out)", and "Bless You". This is
    the first authorized release of "Angel Baby", which had previously
    appeared on the unauthorized US album "Roots".

    US release of John Lennon 4-CD compilation box set "John Lennon
