I am working in a Japanese company. My boss can''t speak Vietnamese and I can''t speak Japanese. So we talk by English. But I must express that our (i and my boss) english is not good (if dont want to say very bad). When he talks to me, I feel very difficult to understand, expecially, when he expresses his thinking by writting, I cant understand too. (Like when I think in Vietnamese then translate into English) he thinks by Japanese then translate into English, i cant understand what does it mean
Hoping that my English will be improved when I join to this topic, that time i can express my idea more clearly so that my boss can understand what I am speaking.
(please correct my mistakes i ''ve typed, thanks a lot)

For three or more days, i couldn''t sign in ttvn. Sorry for the absent time. Yeah. You can show your thought here, daily. As the time goes by, your english will improve. i''m sure ! But i see that many people promised to post every day, but didn''t do that. Perhaps, they have winds brought it away !
For your request, i have some suggestions:
1.i cant understand what does it mean->i can''t understand what it means or i can''t understand what he means
    2. Do not use "hoping", use "hope" instead.
Maybe some one will give you better suggestions.

I want to improve my English, including Speaking, Writting and Listening, especially in writting. So, if I have some mistakes, please correct me. ^ - ^ . I''ve said my problem on page 3, but it seems no reply.
to hard2love: I can''t give you a right suggestion, but I think you''re lucky because you can practice E everyday and you have a very important purpose that you can make fast progress. And ''bout me? I''ve known E as a subject as school until September of last year. Now I know that E is very important and intersting. I realize my purpose of my life and it relates to E. So that why I have to improve my E. ^ - ^

I just drop in so I dont have much time to check all the mistakes. I just can point some here
--> terrible only. Coz it''s a strong adj itself.
--> it, not its. ITS is possessive adj
    --> Do u mean suppose?

Oh, it is a very interesting and useful topic. I want to express my idea about purposes of language learning. As you know, there are two main purposes for us to learn English: to communicate fluently in English with foreigners and to study abroad in countries where English is used. And there are two type of English correlative: English for popular using and academic English.
If you use E in conversation, u dont mind very much about grammar and U have to focus on speaking and listening skill. Whereas, academic E requires that you have to master all of 4 skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing.

This morning I had to get up so soon because my teacher is a strict one. He told us to arrive on time at 7a.m. But when I came, he wasnot there. Then, at 7.35a.m, he arrived. I asked him about his reason for his late, and he told us that he was having a toothache.
Anyway, still I couldn''t understand why there is a link between a toothache and being late?
Well, that''s my problem. And in terms of this topic, you''re talking about difficulties in studying English, especially in talking skill. I think it''s hard for us to improve our speaking skill here, while writing something like this, hihi. As you may know, speaking is much different from writing. In writing, you have more time on thinking, but in speaking, you don''t have much time to think.
Hmm, just my opinion. And if i''m wrong, right me please! Thank you.

yeah. Spoken English is different from written English.
you guys siting here in front of your computer write anythings which you think in your mind, but the written somethings are not synonymous with spoken sth.
when you speak you don''t have much time to think. you have to react to something which you''re heard
