Mặc dù chưa xem hết tất cả các film có tên trong các hạng mục đề cử nhưng tớ cũng mạnh dạn đưa ra dự đoán:
Best Picture: Slumdog Millionaire
Phim này ẵm rất nhiều danh hiệu danh giá tiền Oscar rồi nên xác suất cao nhất. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button của anh Pitt tuy được lắm đề cử thật nhưng dự đoán sẽ chỉ có mấy giải râu ria thôi, anh Pitt sẽ ra về trắng tay (thành thực tớ chưa bao giờ thấy anh này diễn xuất sắc, capable actor thôi).
Runner up: Milk
Best Director: Hoặc Danny Boyle hoặc Gus Van Sant, nghiêng hơn về bác đầu.
Best Actor: Mickey Rourke
Quả Wrestler đúng là đã hồi sinh sự nghiệp của đồng chí này. Ngày xưa xưa bác í đẹp trai thế mà giờ trông khiếp quá, nhưng thế mới hợp vai.
Runner up: Sean Penn
Best Actress: Kateeeeee
Long overdue!!! Nhưng Meryl Streep được giải cũng tuyệt nữa - thích cả 2 diễn viên này.
Em Angelina được đề cử đã là may mắn rồi. Xem Changeling thấy em này diễn thường, not Oscar-caliber IMHO.
Best Supporting Actor: Josh Brolin
Runner up: Philip Seymour Hoffman.
Okie Heath Ledger diễn xuất thần trong The Dark Knight, nhưng nếu đồng chí này không chết vì overdose chưa chắc vai này đã được hyped đến thế.
Best Supporting Actress: Marisa Tomei
Tuy nhiên thích em Penelope Cruz
Best Animated Feature
Nếu không phải là WALL-E thì cái Viện Hàn lâm bị dở hơi.
Best Foreign Language Film
Nhặt bừa à nha: Waltz with Bashir (Israel).
Chả bít trúng bao nhiêu %.

Tớ thấy mấy diễn viên đề cử khoái nhất là Meryl Streep. Bà này diễn rất tốt với nhiều thể loại phim khác nhau từ tâm lý đến hành động hay hài. Tớ thích diễn viên này từ cái phim "The bridges of Madison County"! Diễn xuất quá chuẩn! Hoặc trong mấy phim kiểu "Kramer vs Kramer", "The deer hunter" cũng quá hay ý chứ!
Sean Pein thì trong "Dead Man Walking" diễn tốt hơn là "The mystic River"!
