Folder Guard allows the user to selectively hide folders and restrict user access to system resources. It makes folders invisible or read-only in applications, including Explorer, MS Office, and MS-DOS, as well as in common dialogs. It also provides password protection, user-dependent configurations, and user validation at login. Protect individual files within folders. Separate passwords may be set up for each file or folder, letting you unlock only the password-protected items, leaving the rest of the system protected. Folder Guard also lets you restrict access to whole classes of files according to the file names, folders they are located in, and modules by which they are accessed.
This version adds a "fast user switching" feature and includes support for Windows XP.
