Hôm trước em đi xem In The Bed Room, phim cũng có đề cử giải Oscar, và xem khá nặng nề. Em đã viết vào online journal của em nhưng lười viết lại quá, em copy lên đây nhé.
In the bedroom..
...was the movie that Ron and I went to see last night. It is not an entertain movie, but the kind of movie which makes you think a lot about life and love and whatever problem it brings out. It is about an old couple have only one son, Frank, who was killed by the ex-husband of the girl he loved, whose name is Richard. And they, with different kinds of hurt feelings, have to try their best to overcome the loss. But in the end, being saddled by the love to his son and his wife's misery, the father of the boy shot Richard...
I felt tired after the movie. First, I had to sit at the second row from the screen, which I hate most when I see a movie at the cinema. Sitting close to the screen made my headache worse and tired my eyes. Second, the movie left me a lot of thoughts. I feel bad for the couple when their only son was killed by a bad guy, and because the only witness had ran down just two seconds later than the moment that boy was shot, the murder was turned into an accident. This is a crazy world, and all the lawyers are lairs. They can turn black into white just because of the money they get.
Another thought that I've got from the movie is the difference between the way men and women feel about love and pain. Men have deeper feelings than women. They do not show their feelings but try to hide them and ignore the pain themselves. Different than that, women are always show their feelings out loud. You could tell how a woman feels by looking at them or talking to them. But if you want to do that to a man, it would not be that easy. To tell how a man feels, you have to understand him deeply. So, my lesson of the day: dont judge a man from what you see from him, judge him from what he does.
