Plz explain this sentence for me :)

When I was staring to learn English, I ansewed the sentence "How are you" by sentence "I am tired. Lastnight, I worked very hard ...", but Questioner was embarrassed.
I don''t know detail in this. If I translate this sentence into Vietnamese , I''ll think it''s a question for heath.. Am I wrong?

I am interested in English, but speaking isn''t good and always make funny mistakes. I desire to learn English, so I join this forum to improve my English.
I started to post with my Newpost above, but I haven''t still received the answer for this problem,I don''t feel very highly enthusiastic in this.

Two weks ago, I watched English program on VTV2 dicussing about this question. Our teacher, Mr Hung said that it was a sentence to make our conversation smoothly. It is somewhat like " Ay di dau day" in Vietnam situation. The questioner do not expected the listeners to answer that question in detail as you did, that is why s/he was embrassed.
Usually, when we are taught this question, the reply is " I''m well, thank you".But I am still not sure to answer your 2nd question.

If you have ever lived in English-speaking countries, you will be surprised by how often you say and hear the phrase " How are you?" a day.
It is sort of a way to start a conversation or just simply a way of greetings. Therefore, people usually dont expect a too detailed answer.
- How are u?
=> I''m fine/ Good/ Not too bad. Thanks. How are you?
- How are you?
=> How are you?

I think the correct sentence is "After we lost all, we still have a future"

I disagree with you on this. Both sentences are right (in case "When" or "after")
