1. Thời điểm tốt nhất để nộp PR (so với ngày hết hạn visa). Đây là nói đối với SV vừa TN xong, các điều kiện và giấy tờ coi như đã OK. Ngoài ra, trong truờng hợp đó có nhất thiết phải khai để xin thêm 1 cái Bridging visa nữa không, Hay có phải xin một cái visa du lịch nữa không (để tránh ở quá hạn visa SV) ?.
2. Khám SK sau khi nộp HS PR thì có được không. Với những người có chút vấn đề về SK (ví dụ đang phải ký giấy heath undertaking về phổi chẳng hạn, chỉ để theo dõi theo luật chúng nó thôi, không phải bị làm sao cả thì có mất nhiều thời gian để xét không (các giấy tờ khác cũng coi là OK).

Nếu visa du học của bạn hết hạn trước khi bạn chính thức nộp đơn xin PR (ở Adelaide Skilled Processing Centre) thì bạn phải xin thêm bridging visa (gọi là Graduate Temporary Visa). Visa này có giá trị 6 tháng kể từ ngày cấp, cho phép bạn ở Úc hợp lệ cho đến khi có kết quả xét đơn xin PR.
2. Khám sức khỏe sau khi nộp hồ sơ cũng được nhưng nó sẽ làm thời gian xét hồ sơ của bạn lâu hơn. Vì thời gian xét hồ sơ tính từ khi hồ sơ của bạn hoàn chỉnh. Cho nên, trừ khi có trường hợp đặc biệt (để tránh visa hết hạn chẳng hạn), bạn tốt nhất là chờ có đầy đủ giấy tờ rồi nộp 1 lần.

The skill stream of Australia?Ts migration program targets people who are highly skilled, under 45 and who will quickly make a contribution to the Australian economy. Specifically for General Skilled Migration to Australia, you or your spouse must be able to satisfy all of the following basic requirements:

Age
You must be under 45 when you apply.

English language
You must have sufficient ability in the English language for working in Australia. This is known as ?~vocational English?T. A higher level of English is required for certain occupations where English ability forms part of the skills assessment. In the Skilled-Designated Area and the Skill Matching visa categories, a lower level of English may apply.
Qualifications
You must have post-secondary (such as university or trade) qualifications (in a small number of occupations substantial relevant work experience may be acceptable) and your skills must have been assessed by the relevant assessing authority as suitable for your nominated occupation.
Nominated Occupation
When you apply, you must nominate an occupation which fits your skills and qualifications.
Recent Work Experience ( waive if it is a recent Australian qualification )
This requirement is separate to the need to have your skills assessed as suitable for your nominated occupation before you apply
If your nominated occupation is worth 60 points, you must have been in paid employment in a skilled occupation for at least 12 of the 18 months immediately before applying.
If your nominated occupation is worth 45 or 50 points, you must have been in paid employment in a skilled occupation for at least 2 of the 3 years immediately before applying.
For certain occupations, a longer period of specific work experience is required to obtain a suitable skill assessment (for example, manager).
Australian qualification exemption ?" you do not need to meet the work experience requirement if you have completed an Australian qualification in less than 6 months before lodging your application. This exemption cannot, however, be used to waive any specific work experience requirement imposed by an assessing body as part of a skills assessment.

Five Points for Regional Australia ?" Applicant must have lived and studied for at least two years in one or more regional areas or low population growth metropolitan area.

Transitional Arrrangements - Overseas students who were studying toward a degree, diploma, or trade qualification in Australia on or before 31st July 2003 and who apply for graduate temporary visa or general skill visa before 1st of April 2004 will be need to meet only the pre 1st of July 2003 migration regulation, ie. only " 1 academic year of full time study" requirement.

Australian Qualifications - Overseas student who completed 2 years doctorate or master degree or at least upper second class level Honour degree will receive extra points under the new migration regulations 1st of July 2003.

Bạn không cần có kinh nghiệm làm việc nếu nộp hồ sơ xin PR trong vòng 6 tháng kể từ ngày kết thúc khóa học tại Úc.
Muốn có việc làm full-time tại Úc trong thời gian chưa có PR là cực kỳ khó khăn nên Úc không đòi hỏi có việc làm để xin PR. Bình thường thì các du học sinh xin xong PR rồi mới đi xin việc làm fulltime.

Anh Haminh ơi, em có đứa bạn định sang đây hoc Master degree of busniness , nhưng cái này chỉ có 1.5 năm hà, vậy là sau này nó ko có cơ hội apply PR đúng ko ??
