    Bạn Thiên Vương thân mến!
    Có lẽ bạn đã hiểu lầm ý của mình rồi. Từ cổ mà mình muốn nói tới ở đây là lớp từ cũ mà hiện nay đã không còn được sử dụng nữa, chứ không phải là những từ đã có từ lâu rồi.
    Không thể phủ nhận là việc phiên âm tiếng nước ngoài sang tiếng Việt Nam hiện nay còn khá nhiều điều bất cập và không theo một quy tắc nhất định. Mình nghĩ nếu chúng ta tranh luận về điều này thì sẽ tốn khá nhiều thời gian. Bởi đây cũng là vấn đề mà các nhà ngôn ngữ học đang còn phải tranh cãi rất nhiều.
    Bạn nói đã nói rằng khi dịch thì nên dịch tất cả sang tiếng Việt Nam. Vậy đối với những tên riêng thì bạn sẽ dịch như thế nào? Chẳng hạn tên bạn bây giờ là Thiên Vương, khi bạn gặp người nước ngoài, nếu họ gọi bạn là Kim Ouk ( tên Hàn Quốc nếu bạn gặp người Hàn) thì bạn sẽ cảm thấy thế nào? Mình nghĩ rằng dịch tên riêng hay tên nước thì cũng giống nhau thôi.
    Nhưng cái mà mình muốn nhấn mạnh đến là những lớp từ đã không còn được sử dụng hiện nay nữa. Bạn nói rằng khi dịch cốt là làm sao cho người nghe có thể hiểu được. Vậy thử hỏi xem có bao nhiêu người ở đây hiểu Ái Nhĩ Lan có nghĩa là Ai-len?Tại sao bây giờ người ta lại gọi là Thái Lan chứ không phải là Xiêm? Hàng ngày bạn đọc báo và nói chuyện với mọi người có thường xuyên còn nghe thấy những cái tên này không?
    Cuộc sống thay đổi từng ngày từng giờ, và nó cũng làm phong phú thêm cho vốn ngôn ngữ của chúng ta. Mình nghĩ không chỉ khi dịch và cả khi nói chuyện với nhau chúng ta cũng nên dùng từ một cách thích hợp nhất. Bởi tiếng Việt là tiếng mẹ đẻ của chúng ta, nếu chúng ta nói tiếng Việt còn không đúng thì làm sao có thể nói tốt các thứ tiếng khác được?
    Nếu có gì cần tranh luận thêm thì bạn cứ PM cho mình nhé. Mình không muốn làm ảnh hưởng tới topic chung của mọi người.

    to TV: lần sau quote bài của ai xong, thì viết ra ngoài đoạn quote nhé (tức là viết bên ngoài tag [/quote] í) cho người ta dễ đọc. Chứ bạn viết như thế đọc muốn lòi mắt lun.
    to TV & teddybear: 2 bạn cứ tranh luận thoải mái, cái gì có liên quan đến việc học thì ko có gì phải ngại hết. Biết đâu trong đó có nhiều thứ mà những người khác, kể cả Maroon có thể học hỏi được thì sao? ^_^
