Cô Trà My mến: Cảm ơn Trà My chỉ cách cho TV đăng bài nhé! Vì mới biết trang này, nên chưa quen, TV vô cùng ngạc nhiên khi thấy các bạn đều viết chữ đậm (bold) mà TV thử mấy lần vẫn không được. Thì ra đơn giản chỉ là như vầy! Cảm ơn bạn nhiều nhé! (Vì nếu không được Trà My chỉ điểm, người ....lòi mắt đầu tiên chính là tại hạ đó mà! )
Về phần ...đàm đạo ....với chú gấu bông Teddy thì không phải là ...tranh luận ..đâu! Vì đầu bài viết TV đã tự nhận là ...nghe cái tên Thiên Vương thì phải biết là ngôn từ hắn sử dụng đương nhiên là phải ....cổ rồi đó mà! Hoàn toàn không hề có ý tranh cãi dành sự đúng về mình.
Cũng như bạn nói, đơn giản TV chỉ đưa ra vài nhận định của mình cho mọi người cùng tham khảo mà thôi! Chính vì vậy cuối bài, TV có nói là phải xem "The Wisdom of Crowds" đó!
Nhưng dù sao thì TV cũng rất cảm ơn sự ủng hộ của bạn khi cho phép TV được tiếp tục ....diễn đạt ý riêng trong này.

TV hoàn toàn hiểu ý bạn, chỉ dài dòng thêm là muốn đưa ra vài quan điểm cho mọi người cùng tham khảo mà thôi! Vì TV vốn ngại nhất là ..."tranh luận" để rồi mất hòa khí với nhau.
Về vấn đề bạn nói ...."Vậy thử hỏi xem có bao nhiêu người ở đây hiểu Ái Nhĩ Lan có nghĩa là Ai-len?Tại sao bây giờ người ta lại gọi là Thái Lan chứ không phải là Xiêm? Hàng ngày bạn đọc báo và nói chuyện với mọi người có thường xuyên còn nghe thấy những cái tên này không? " nếu bạn không ngại, TV xin được trình bày như sau:
1/ Ireland - TQ phiên âm là Ái Nhĩ Lan - Việt phiên âm là Ai-len. Đây chỉ là cách phiên âm khác nhau của cùng một tên quốc gia.
2/ Thái Lan vốn chỉ có tên này từ sau ngày 11/5/1949. Trước đó trở đi, nước này có tên là Xiêm.
- Thái Lan vốn được người Việt mượn âm chữ Hán phiên âm từ nguyên bản tiếng Anh là ...Thailand. Người TQ không gọi là Thái Lan, mà chỉ gọi là Thái Quốc, hoặc Thái Vương Quốc mà thôi.
- Nguyên nghĩa chữ Thái có nghĩa là tự do, và cũng là tên của tộc người Thái (vốn xuất thân từ bên Trung Hoa, cùng nguồn gốc với người Thái ở VN.)
- Về tên Xiêm, người Anh gọi là Siam, người TQ gọi là Xiêm La, Việt Nam gọi tắt lại là Xiêm.

Về chứng nhân lịch sử của tên này thì sử ta có viết về chiến dịch Rạch Gầm Xoài Mút đánh Xiêm của Vua Quang Trung.
Bên Miên hiện nay còn một tỉnh tên là Siêm Riệp, nghĩa là chiến thắng quân Xiêm.
Tuy đã đổi tên, nhưng không phải là ta không còn sử dụng. Hàng ngày bạn vẫn có thể nghe người ta gọi, dừa Xiêm, mãng cầu Xiêm, vịt Xiêm v..v... chỉ vì tất cả những thứ này có nguồn gốc từ Thái Lan.
Tóm lại, ta không gọi nước Xiêm không phải là nó cũ mà vì người ta đổi tên quốc gia của mình mà thôi.
Hình như bạn đang ở Hàn Quốc thì phải. Sẵn đây TV lấy Hàn Quốc làm ví dụ minh họa nhé!
Trong tiếng Việt, ta có nhiều tên gọi cho bán đảo này như: Triều Tiên, Cao Ly, Đại Hàn, Hàn Quốc. (TV không phân biệt Nam Bắc.)
Tên tiếng Anh là Korea. Tên này vốn xuất thân từ Goryeo. Muốn tầm nguyên tên này ta phải đi ngược thời gian đến thời xa xưa. Chuyện là như vầy:
Ngày xưa, Triều Tiên cũng có thời được gọi là Tam Quốc. Đó là do có 3 nước: Silla, Goguryeo và Baekje hợp thành.
Xét kỹ thì Goguryeo và Baekje chỉ là một. Vì Vua Jumong của Goguryeo có 2 dòng con. Con dòng chính là Juri được phong làm thái tử. Con dòng thứ là Onjo và Biryu. Hai người này sợ không sống được khi Juri nắm quyền nên đã xuôi Nam lập quốc.
Onjo chọn đất Wiryeseong (bây giờ là Seoul) lập nghiệp. Đặt tên là nước Sipie (nghĩa là 10 chư hầu, giống như thập nhị sứ quân thời Đinh Bộ Lĩnh của ta vậy).
Biryu bất chấp lời can gián của các chư hầu, đi đến Michuhol (bây giờ là Incheon) định cư.
Chẳng bao lâu sau Biryu qua đời, Onjo sát nhập hai nước thành một và đổi tên là Baekje (nghĩa là 100 chư hầu).
Năm 660, Silla mượn thêm quân nhà Đường, Trung Hoa, đánh bại Baekje.
Năm 668 thì Silla chiếm luôn Goguryeo. Hoàn toàn thống nhất đất nước.
Đến năm 935 thì chính thức đổi tên nước là Goryeo. Đặt thủ đô ở Hanseong (Hán Thành, bây giờ là Seoul).
Tên gọi Korea được xuất thân từ chữ Goryeo này. Và người TQ gọi là Cao Lệ, người Việt gọi là Cao Ly.
Năm 1392 thì một vị tướng quân tên là Yi Songgye đảo chánh, đổi tên nước là Choson. Người TQ gọi là Triều Tiên.
Từ đây ta thấy Korea có nguồn gốc từ chữ Goryeo. Mà Goryeo xuất thân từ Goguryeo.
Có một thời gian, người ta cho rằng sở dĩ ta kêu Đại Hàn, vì bên đó lạnh quá (hàn tiếng Hán là lạnh).
Cũng có lúc người ta lại bảo tên Hàn Quốc xuất thân từ sông Hàn (Hangang). Dòng sông chính chảy ngang Seoul ra Hồng Hải.
Thực ra thì cả hai đều không đúng, vì tên sông thực ra là Hán Giang. Và nếu gọi Nam Triều Tiên là Đại Hàn, thì chắc phải gọi Bắc Triều Tiên là Đại Đại Hàn, hay Thái Hàn mới đúng.
Kỳ thật, chữ Hàn ở đây chỉ là tên riêng (nghĩa là gì chắc phải thọ giáo cùng bạn Teddy rồi!), và Nam Triều Tiên được gọi là Đại Hàn vì Nam Hàn có lãnh thổ lớn hơn rất nhiều so với Bắc Hàn mà thôi!
Từ đây cho thấy, mỗi giai đoạn lịch sử, một nước có thể có tên riêng của mình. Nhưng tựu trung, không ai có thể bỏ được cả. Và chính vì vậy, nếu có kiến thức thì ai cũng có thể hiểu ta đang nói về nước nào, cho dù bạn dùng tên gì đi nữa cũng vậy mà thôi!
Cụ thể là tên Cao Ly nghe có vẻ rất xưa, nhưng khi đọc qua câu ca dao:
Cao Ly sâm tốt mấy (cũng) chẳng màng,
Trầm hương mất vị, bạc ngàn khó mua.
....thì chắc ai cũng hiểu mà, phải không bạn?

Cái từ futures bạn TV có giải thích hình như ở trang 42 hay 43 đấy. Tui có nghe ra cái chữ s nhưng cũng không biết ý nghĩa. Giờ thì đỡ hơn rồi.
