Keep Fruits and Vegetables Cold, But Not Too cold
This is Barbara Klein with the VOA Special English Development Report.
Cold storage can keep fruits foods in good con***ion for months after growing season. But fruits foods can be damaged if they are kept too cold. So this week, we offer some advices (sai giống thandieu) about cold storage. It comes from Practical Action, an and Anti-Poverty Group in Britain. Practical Action is the new name for the Intermediate Technology Development Group.
The experts say the best way is to prepare fruits foods for storage, well while still in the field. For best results, harvest fruits and vegetables at correct harvesting time. And try not to damage them. Use a sharp knife.
Place harvested items on a clean surfaces or directly into storage containers. Do not place them on the ground. Dust Dirt can leave too lead to bugs or fungus grows growth in cold storage.
Use clean water to remove dust dirt, and heat keep the water clean. But it is usually better not to remove outer leaves from fruits and vegetables before storage. Without the leaves, fruits food can become dry.
Fruits and vegetables must be cured cool from field heat before they are put into storage. If they are placed in cured cool water, however, it can spread fungus throughout the fruits food. A better idea is the harvest fruits foods either early or late in a day, then than leave them to cure cool naturally.
The experts at Practical Action say all fruits and vegetables have a critical temperature for storage. Damages (nếu có s fải đọc là /''dæmidziz/) may happen if they get any colder. With potatoes, for example, the cell structures can break down.
Some fruits and vegetables must be stored at zero to 4 degrees Celsius. Others need 4 to 8 degrees. And still others must be stored above 8 degrees.
Wet the fruits and vegetables so they do not become too dry during storage. The best time to do this is before storage. Cover the items in plastic once they reach the correct storage temperature. Most fruits and vegetables need the relative humi***y in storage to be kept between 85 and 95 %.
Finally, air flow must not be restricted. Leave space between fruits food containers and the walls of the storage area. Keep the space clean and, lastly, try not to open the doors too often.

tớ ko biết fải e*** làm sao, chỉ biết là sau 48 tiếng thì ko được fép e*** nữa.
interpreter là dân dịch nói (mỏi mồm), còn tớ là translator, suốt ngày ngồi ôm computer đến nỗi sắp ống chề lun roài nè (tranh thủ quảng cáo 1 chút )

sao mọi người phức tạp hoá thế, hãy thử tưởng tượng quá tai xem nó ra cái gì và quá đầu thì sao, hơn nữa đầy tay thì như thế nào,
Hơn nữa ví dụ của chị maroon cũng đúng vì khi bào giảng quá đầu tôi có nghĩa là vượt ra ngoài khả năng của tôi,
Hehhêh, idiom không phải lúc nào cũng mang 1 nghĩa
