Me***erranean Shipping Co. S.A of Geneva, currently ranked 2nd amongst the top carriers in the world, is expanding her Asia Regional Office in Singapore.

To meet corporate objectives and growth, MSC Asia Regional Office has vacancies for the following positions :

(1) DOCUMENTATION SHIPPING OFFICER

Responsibilities include :-

õ? Close coordination with agency offices and head office in ensuring timely receive of electronic shipping documentation
õ? Process and relay of data electronically using in-house system to head office and customs
õ? Preparation of statistical reports to the management
õ? Participate in freight rates quotations (RFQs) for global tender preparation
õ? Assist agency offices on general documentation matters/queries for multiple trades
õ? Maintain database for tariffs


(2) ACCOUNTS SHIPPING OFFICER

Responsibilities include :-

õ? Freight accounting and manifest reconciliation for headquarter
õ? Au***ing disbursement accounts submitted by our Asia agents
õ? Liaising with local/overseas on any irregularities arise from au***
õ? Processing of payment and reconciliation of various accounts statement and performing other general accounting / tax function
õ? To handle ad-hoc projects assigned.


(3) OPERATIONS SHIPPING OFFICER

Responsibilities include:
õ? Consolidating cargoes prospects and liaising with overseas agents
õ? Oversee and facilitate operational issues and tonnage management
õ? Attend to agent''s enquiries and provide advice and solutions in a timely manner
õ? Assist to review daily reports and plan for vessels optimization
õ? Prepare management reports and provide regional office support



Pre-requisites for above 3 positions:
õ? Degree/Diploma holder and fresh graduates are welcome
õ? Meticulous, self-driven and independent to work under pressure to meet deadlines
õ? Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel and Access)
õ? Must be prepared to learn new system applications
õ? Strong analytical, good interpersonal and communication skills
õ? Believe in team-driven culture
õ? Good organizational skills with positive attitude.
õ? Possess the abilities to look beyond numbers with attention to details
õ? Must be bilingual
õ? For position (2), applicants should possess accounting knowledge


Appropriate training will be provided *****pplement and enhance the individual''s ability to perform in the above responsibilities for all positions.

Remuneration
Successful candidates can expect an attractive salary package commensurating with experience. Account Dept của công ty cần tìm người có thể giao tiếp bằng tiếng Hàn/Nhật để liên hệ với agent bên Hàn Quốc/Nhật, tiếng Anh của agent viết thì đc nhưng nói thì cực kì khó hiểu.
Đối với các agent ở China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand và Việt Nam thì đã có staff đảm đương

Em cũng đã từng bán thân cho MSC Việt Nam suốt 4 năm nè, mới nhảy qua carrier khác dc mấy tháng à. Mới đi SIN về hôm qua (tụi Sing headquarter của e cũng đóng VP tại Suntec Tower, tower One). Tiếc là hok bik bác sớm hơn, nhờ bác dẫn đi dạo phố, chứ cả mấy ngày bên SIN, sáng đi lên SHQ học, tối về nằm ks chán quá

DOC MGR vẫn là Grace Chia, như vậy là mvc làm ở DOC của MSC VN? Hany hay là ai đó

Em làm MSC VN, làm CUS với FOB accounts thôi, nên toàn liên lạc với Grace Chia với lị Ivy Toh hỏi giá hoài. Mới nghỉ MSC hồi cuối tháng 1/2008 này.
Hany là Docs executive tuyến Andes và tuyến Mỹ nữa thì phải, Docs mgr của MSCVN là James.
