Replacement battery for Dell XPS-M1530

Hi All,

I hope I'm not breaking any rules by asking this question...

The 6 cell battery in my XPS is pretty much worn out. It lasts approximately 15 minutes on a full-charge. I want to buy a replacement battery, however considering the age of the laptop (almost 2 years), I'm not wanting to spend a lot of money on it. I really just want to keep the laptop useable for maybe another 6 months or so when I'm planning to replace it.

I figured it might be worth going for a 9 cell, as even when the laptop was brand new, the 6 cell never lasted more than 2 hours on a charge. From research I've done this seems to be less than normal, however I suspect this might be because I opted for a faster 7200rpm drive (wasn't a standard option, had to specifically request it by phone).

Can anyone recommend a good place to get good quality (non-genuine) replacement batteries for Dell laptops?

It doesn't need to be as good as a genuine Dell, but I obviously don't want the thing to leak or explode either.

Dell XPS M1530 bios recovery HI to everyone,

Pls help me on recovering my bios of Dell Xps M1530 the battery led is blinking Red only

i tried to copy bios file to usb M1530XX.HDR im using 1gb usb formated fat 
i plug the usb and hold the end key then plug the power , im waiting for any changes on blinking red battery led but nothing happens even the fan is not turning on and the usb is not blinking.

i notice if i press the power the fan will work but still nothing happens.

pls post instruction if anyone successfully recovered a xps m1530.

This is forum consider to buy and sell from Hai Phong city, VietNam. I think that very difficulty to get some one to help you.
Ad***ional, Original battery Dell XPS M1530 is 6 cell. If you replace 6 cell by 9 cell then to waste.
I think you should take advantage of the core instead of the old 6-cell batteries ,it is the best idea.
