Report for Weekly Online Meeting ( 22nd OnSpeak, Oct 27th, pg 11)

I have to confess that I''m so jealous of not being able to join u guys the recent discussions.
I hope you guys can share some of the fun in the coming offline meeting. I heard King is visiting us?
One ticket to the offline meeting for me. I''ll go matter how busy, really missing our talk.

Group 1: King (host), Satori, KyAnh, Lea.
It''''''''''''''''s been 3 hours together and we still don''''''''''''''''t wanna be apart.
SG is the place of diversity. Even our memories about it are widely diverse Most of us have spent lots of time there, so we talked about different things that moved us.
After our discussion, I am pretty sure KyAnh and Lea have a list of nice places that visitors to SG should try out. Though it kinda depends on personal taste (for example, I like museums, but the others may not), a visitor who is willing to explore cannot get bored in SG
The talk went so smoothly. Everyone was excited, partly because of the coming offline meeting for SEC members this July.... Okay, I envy with everyone who are able to attend it, so you guys have to fully enjoy the meeting!!!!!! I miss you.
And here is the part the others are waiting to know about: SINGING!!
King started with a funny song, but then he moved on to The Reasons (Hoobastank.) Hoobastank is his favorite, but it is not the only reason for his enthusiasm. If you haven''''''''''''''''t heard his voice, this guy talks sweetly (be careful, ladies, especially if you are honeybees J/K), and sings softly enough to make us speechless + sleepless.
KyAnh was.... how could I say this.... fantastic. The song "If" by Bread was sung beautifully. It reminded me of many old memories. King, Lea and I could not say anything but listening attentively to his really nice voice over Skype. Thanks KyAnh, you have to record a CD soon, seriously
And then, it was Lea''''''''''''''''s turn. Though I heard her singing for so many times before, every time is a new experience. And despite the fact that Skype does not offer us the best sound quality, we enjoyed her singing a lot. I wish we had a video conference though, you know, when people are enthusiastically singing, they look amazing. I wish we could have seen that in our fabulous group
Then, well, it was my turn. I chose "You''''''''''''''''ve Got A Friend." I hope my group liked it.... ''''''''''''''''cuz I''''''''''''''''ve never been a good singer. But I was glad to share it with King, KyAnh and Lea. Whenever I listened to that song performed by the VH1 Divas (Carole King, Celine Dion, Shania Twain, Gloria Estefan), it makes me wanna cry. It''''''''''''''''s a beautiful song - we should consider it to be SEC''''''''''''''''s theme song too
After that, Lea and I sang duet our favorites, "Far Longer Than Forever" and "A Whole New World." We love Old Disney Movies Soundtracks! [r32]
My recommendation: we should have a Singing Conference. Singing English songs is helpful in learning the language too, and if you notice, we pronounce more correctly when singing than speaking!

Thank you for the quick report Satori. You already covered most points so I will make this short. We had a great time last night even though you guys were torturing me. Knowingly for my horrible singing skill, I almost never sing in my life. Last night was the second time I sing to someone else other than myself. I rather take some beating than to sing, so you got the idea how miserable I was when you made me to sing. Beside from me, 3 other members are just fantastic singers, especially Lea. I was totally awestruck by her singing voice.
We have several members with great voice in SEC. I know there are some hidden talents out there. So I suggest we should have a karaoke night after the offline meeting. Of course I will be the judge and the cheerleader, so I won''t sing. What do you guys think?
Beside from singing, our discussion about Saigon City went pretty well. None of us seems to be "dan choi" so we don''t know that many places. I''m asking if anyone knows a restaurant that is romantic and a little bit fancy. Also, is there any place in SaiGon that let you fish? I''d like to take a friend of mine to go entertaining fishing.
@ CBC: I will let you to handle the group assigning so you would have no reason to call me "biased" again.

I wanna tell u know a little bit about hipziro who is a fresher of our SEC. He''s really a kind guy from the begining -wanna reg a nick on ttvnol to be able to join SEC- up to now. He''s studying in RMIT Uni, having the same yrs old with Satori . It''s so pity that his micro and Rain''s didn''t work so they just listening to others and we deciced both speaking and typing on Skype-chat and we kept it goin'' on till the last min. He heeded our conversation fully and answered or expressed his ideas timely. wow, is that a fervent man, huh? He''s so praiseworthy !
le_huy_viet loves IT and Economy so, he is studying Junior in Economic Uni and working on IT company ( http://deviet.com ) he''s a Northern guy. He shared with us that in his comp, every employee calls others by nick name.. and his nick nam is Viet Quân Sư a nice nick huh? and Viet, hope so in one day, u''ll give me some advices for loving coz u''r in love, right hihi
Aquarain is a really cute girl to me.. yeah.. i very like to chat with this girl and would like to meet her once time in real life.. I like youthful style of her.. very impressive !
Le_huy_viet is in Hn now. Hipziro, Rain and me are living in SG. Except me is the person who has lived in SG from being born, others are come from others province or country. Hipziro comes from CaMau province and has been HCMC for 12 yrs. Aquarain before time, she lived in Cameroon with her family and has stayed SG for 5 yrs.
Le_huy_viet visited SG last year and many nice memories abt this land still available on his mind. It''s so great huh? He still remembered the exiciting vacation with his friends in DamSen park at ice-house. That was a nice time to him in SG.
Hipziro had 1 unforgettable memory abt a girl who is his classmate. U guys know, he''s so romantic man in giving her one rose in the morning during a month just show up his feelings to her.. wow.. but.. now she''s in Japan and he hopes they will re-connect when she backs to Vn. G''luck to u, hip !

I dont have anything special abt this city coz I love it so much, so any place here is precious to me. I''d like to go out with buddies in weekend, watching films, enjoy ourselves on coffee bars, ect.. sometimes, go shopping with them.. and I said to 2 guys in our group that be cautious of buying in any Market in SG, we should have a deal with them coz the prices they give us be always in the sky
Three of us think that enviroment and traffic problems are need to be sloved at the present time.

I was so lucky when i was in the third group with great members. We had sis Dimi, Kiddi, Diep_tam and Lavanvn( chomchoc). But when we started, we only had Dimi, Kiddi and Diep_tam because chomchoc had some problems.
We did absolutely well. You know, Kiddi and sis Dimi were born in Ho Chi Minh City so that they know much about this place. Sis Dimi gave us many interesting coffee shops such as: HighLands, Yesterday, Trung Nguyen,....especially Yesterday is her favourite place. And her unforgettable memories about Ho Chi Minh City is raining!!!. We have the same feeling when it rains. We both feel sad and lonely when I rains and it is great if we can enjoy watching the rain in a small coffee shop. If sis Dimi at home, she may listen to music, singing....
We had one guy in our group but he was the best guy because he was sick but he still joined in our SEC. He had a romantic memory about Ho Chi Minh City. It was when he finished grade 12, he got the first kiss, wowwww he spent one night out side, he went to play game at Diamond plaza, went around....
Because Diep_tam was born in Nha Trang, and I was born in Can Tho province so that we do not know many places. I am so sorry for that.
After that we also sang some songs. It was a little bit late so Diep_tam could not sing, only sis Dimi and I. We sang the song named Rythnm of the rain and Dimi presented us a song Can''t help falling in love. I recommended her to change her job, she could become a singer because her voice is so clear and sweet that you not only understand the meaning but also absorb her feeling that she puts into her song. It is the skill that every singer practises a lot.!!!!!!!
We finished our dicussion at about 12:15. It was so wonderful. And I want to say thank you sis Dimi because I feel a little confident when i speak English, thank you Diep_tam for your enthusiatic contribution and thank you Kiddi and hope you get well soon to join with us

He told us one story about his friend with the guy''''''''''''''''sgirlfriend when they were at the guy''''''''''''''''s house and the guy considered that his father coming back the house and hihi_hut was called by his friend for helping by catching his gf came home
