Report for Weekly Online Meeting ( 22nd OnSpeak, Oct 27th, pg 11)

Here is my report for the 19th online meeting, Sept 1st.
I didn''t know what problem is with my Yahoo Messenger. Ky Anh invited me many times but I couldn''t receive any invitations. I tried to log out and log in but no success.
At last, I can join the group with King, Rain, Mr. Richard, Ngoc & Chau ( but they left ). If it''s my mistake, I''m so sorry for that, lovelyangelngoc.
1. All of us knew and used Internet many years ago. Rain : 2000, King : see his report, Mr. Richard : sorry, I couldn''t hear you clearly, me : 2001.
To me, I only used internet for chatting and playing games until 2003. A bad result in the exam told me that Internet is not only the place to chat and play game.
2. Internet is really a easy tool to make friends but it''s not perfect. King said that it''s easy to make friends in the cyber world but also easy to lose friends. He told us he had had a thousands of friends but there''re only some of them are really his friends. Rain asked him are they SEC''s members and his answer is to break SEC''s members'' hearts " Some of you. I don''t trust all of you". Hope I''m not in the "all of you" group.
Clearly, it''s possible to find your halfs on Internet. You can read on some newspapers about this problem. They chatted and loved and got married, had children, ...But as King wrote, it''s just a litte - some special cases.
3. There''re some advantages of making friends on Internet such as : no need to tell the truth about yourself, anyone who''s very shy can still make friends, can have not only local friends.
To me, a shy person, I think it''s easy to share my feelings via Chat programs ( smile, cry or somethinng like that) in order to make friends.
Disvantages : bad friends, spend a lot of time,...
Suddenly, we went to the 6th question. Maybe King think we didn''t have time enough?
6. As King wrote above, Mr. Richard, Rain, King and me accept ed that Online love is not romatic as real love. How can you feel your girfriends/ boyfriends'' breath while kissing if you and they are online, and many things like that ( you can see on the famous street in District 1, in the park, ....).
In general, this is the shortest meeting I have ever joined so a short report I write too. The reason came from the bad Internet connection, we had to stop and recalled many times to have the better voices but .....
The connection will be better in the next time, I hope that.
So thank King-our host, Mr. Richard, our special guest (now -our member) and a lovely girl - Rain ( coz she''s the only girl in our group) and ..............good night.

Sorry for any late, I am always catch deadline (Friday is for the new topic, haha).
We are on group 2 , including cbc (host), kyanh, silly, nhanxung, letmebe
Because of the promise, I have to write a brief report for last topic "LOVE ONLINE" . Yeah, it was a cool topic and we argued about the existence of online love. We accepted that love online is a real because a large number of people are working and õ?olivingõ? online nowadays. Most of hours a day they used is on the front of monitor, including chatting, emailing and making friends, specially loving by typing on the keyboard. But is that a true love ? It is the difficult question and it is depended on what we understand about the Love. I and CBC argued against the online love because it loses some real senses, such as a õ?ofrom eyes to heartsõ? feeling or a touchõ?Ư
Yeah, finding a love is difficult, but maintaining it is as much as õ?ohurt myself to give happiness to youõ?. Online love needs more than the true love because it need more and more understanding , trusting and more passion to love and to be love. So love is as a flame, more challenge õ?" more happiness. I hope we can find a love, or at least, a true friend on internet.

It looks like I am the first to report on Fri.. 8th. I was quite nervous today, my problem. I enjoyed very much being able to talk in English to my friend in finland, and the rest of you. I agree that cultural diversity in America is very great, and that any culture should try to keep their own identity no matter where they are in this world. I always wonder at the technology available to us in this world and time. Can someone helpme put my photo next to my post?

Hey, You know yesterday I could talk you Mr Richard. He is at the age of my grand father. So you can know how nice he was to me.
And there were some problems when we started the dicussion. I misunderstood about my group. But King helped me much. after that we had a smooth comversation.
Actually I do not think it was an interesting conversation. So sorry but........

To me, I think the topic is not really hot and there''''re some ... questions but it''''s exciting because there was a lot of members.
I don''''t know exactly how many people was there because in my YM conference, I see about 15 but King told me 11 and another told me 10.
In my Skype list, there''''re also about 15 members who were online ( SEC''''s members ). That''''s great.
And now, I''''m here to waiting the reports .
